Reviews of local pros in Stoneham, Massachusetts

I have been working w/Presidential for approx. 6 years for a myriad of different plumbing issues and couldn’t be a happier customer. My initial service requirement was an emergency call & Tim (owner) responded personally within 20 minutes as his entire crew were dispatched elsewhere. Since then every time I’ve worked w/Presidential I have received extremely prompt service, always very fairly priced & with knowledgeable, efficient & friendly technicians. I also appreciate their customer service & communication, as well as the cleanliness of their work. Although I rely on reviews heavily when selecting contractors, etc. to work with… I rarely take the time to leave a personal review. Presidential Heating & Plumbing is an exception for me because they are THAT worthy of recommending! Tim and his crew have been referred by me to friends & family multiple times & each one has been equally satisfied w/the service they’ve received… they are hands down the best around — an absolute 5 star company to work with if you choose to put your faith in them as a new customer:)

These guys were great. Had an issue with the gas pipes in our house. Presidential Heating and Plumbing promptly came over and did all the necessary tests to resolve the issue. In addition, they promptly replaced a gas valve in my furnace. I appreciated their communication, professionalism, and promptness.

Met with Mike to discuss installing a new 45 gallon SuperStor, expansion and domestic expansion tank heating/hot water system.

Not only did they do an exceptional job installing the system at a very competitive price, it was their personal and professional commitment to ensuring their customer was fully satisfied throughout the entire process. Their goal to impress definitely stood out to us.

Mike even went above and beyond to troubleshoot a continuous banging pipe issue that recently arose... that was keeping us up at night. He brought in the big guns (Tim - owner) to assist with the issue. Could see right away where the professionalism comes from.

Tim, your crew Mike, Josh, and Andrew are phenomenal and extremely courteous,!

Entire experience was exceptional. 5 star service!

Highly recommend Presidential Heating and Plumbing!

Tim and his employees at Presidential Heating and Plumbing are awesome. They came out and did exactly what I needed very promptly and professionally, and at a very fair price.
Their expertise and attention to detail were truly impressive, ensuring that the job was completed with precision. I highly recommend Presidential Heating and Plumbing for their exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

They are the BEST! Literally walked me through how to do something over the phone and saved my $750. Truly honest and don’t try to charge you for something that you don’t need!! Thank you for everything!

Presidential was 1 of 4 plumbers we reached out to replace our heating system. They got back to me within an hour of mine reaching out on a Saturday morning and were by far the most competitive and reasonable with their quote. Once confirmed, they then scheduled us to start 3 days later and completed the job within the day. I highly recommend this company and the unparalleled service this team provided.

There are not enough good things that I could say about the people at Presidential. We had a disaster in our house with a pipe bursting, leading to us being out of our house for almost a year and the one good thing through the process was the reliability of the guys at Presidential. Tim, who helped me schedule everything, was an incredible source of information throughout the process, but he also helped figure out the best solution for our house and was even there when we had other unexpected damage along the way. Joel, who was the lead at our house, was very timely and his communication was consistent and thoughtful.

Everyone about Presidential screams professional. The cost of service and the goods they offer was reasonable, they kept the worksite extremely clean, the punctuality was incredible, especially being in the winter months and still always being on time and there when they said they would, and most importantly, the quality of their work was top tier.

We have to give a thank you from the bottom of our hearts for not only the work that you did for us and the finished product left behind, but most of all, the peace of mind that you gave us throughout the process to ensure us that everything that could be done, was being done, and it was being done well.

I am sure that every time I need plumbing work, or if any of my friends are looking for someone, Presidential will always be top of my mind.

Dishwasher leaking; mouse eaten outlet hose. Simple fix for an appliance repair.
Erich said my wife had to replace the washer? That’s not helpful at all!

Tim was very responsive when we contacted them about our heat not working. He was very up front with us about costs and ways that we could save money on the repair.

We had a 12 year old water heater that there were questions regarding code and installation requirements. Presidential handled the job from A-Z. Obtained all required permits and made arrangements for inspections post installation.
Added accessories to the water heater recommended by Presidential made the long term safety features of our water heater even better. The install went smoothly with no required intervention by us, ,and the installers cleaned the work area well before leaving the job site. Within 5 hours of starting the job hot water was returned for our use. We would recommend Presidential to any homeowner.

Cannot recommend presidential enough. They have proven over years to be a reliable and honest company with fair and transparent pricing. When I’ve had concerns or questions, the techs and the owner would go above and beyond to make sure we have the issues addressed and we are satisfied. They are extremely knowledgeable and inform us of options to decide how to proceed. From toilet installations, boiler problems, new water lines, sewer line replacement, replacing shower heads, I’ve become a loyal customer.

Hosted Presidential Plumbing and Heating for a technical training class with Rinnai. This is an amazing group of plumbers who truly take pride in their work! I highly recommend Tim and his team at Presidential for anything you made need

Called Presidential on a Monday about replacing a water heater that was under warranty and it was replaced before the end of the day on Tuesday.
Spoke to Jill on the phone and she took all my info about the warranty and within a few minutes received a call from Tim scheduling the appointment.
Started receiving text updates and information and the plumber showed up when they said they would be there.
They came in and did the work very cleanly and professionally.
Definitely would use them in the future and would recommend to use them to neighbors.

I've been working with Tim @ Presidential for many years. He always comes through; for not only me but also my friends and family. His crew is always courteous, professional and tidy. My latest call to him was early on a Friday morning, after already having a brutal week, when I found I had no hot water. A mad dash to the basement revealed a leaking water heater. I texted Tim around 6am asking for help. By 6:15 there was a plan to replace it that day AND he checked on the warranty paperwork. Who else does that? He saved my day by doing his regular, outstanding job and making it oh so easy for me. When someone asks me if I know a plumber, I tell them "I have a fabulous one!". And you should too.

Tim and his employees are amazing. They show up when they say they will, work hard and are very friendly and personable. We needed a new boiler and hot water heater. Presidential plumbing's quote was $1000's less than other quotes. They came in did an amazing job, worked their butts off for us so we were not without heat and hot water long. Highly recommend using Presidential plumbing for your needs.
Thank you Tim and your crew.

My old heating system died just as it started to get cold outside. Tim had people at my house right away. They did my whole system & Tim was very communicative with me throughout the entire process. They had the old system out, new system in, job cleaned up in less than a day & a half. The team on site was friendly, informative & clearly knew what they were doing. If you have plumbing or heating issues you really should be going to Tim & his team at Presidential. Strongly recommend them 100 out of 100 times.

On Friday, the day after Christmas, we experienced a steam leak in a ceiling heating pipe between our kitchen and dining room. Given that this was part of the holiday weekend we did not know what to expect for service. Tim returned our call within an hour and came to review the leak and recommend next steps. He brought several space heaters for us to use while our heat was shut-off over the weekend . He arranged for ServiceMaster (terrific) to come that day to start the cleanup and restoration process. He put us in touch with an asbestos contractor to take samples for lab testing. On Monday Joel and Anthony came to complete repair of the leak by replacing the section of pipe that had the pinhole leak. They were thoroughly professional in completing the repair.

This was the second time in a year that we have called on Presidential to make a serious repair. They replaced a shower assembly the previous January. We are pleased to give Presidential the highest five star rating in terms of responsiveness and quality. We will certainly use them again in the future as continued customers!

I'm very pleased with the excellent service of Presidential Heating and Plumbing. I found Tim, Chris, and their team to be professional, reliable, pleasant, and caring. My gas furnace had stopped working when it was extremely cold outside. Tim along with his assistant responded right away, evaluated the issue, and ordered a replacement power venter. He kindly lent me a couple of portable heaters. A few days later, Chris and his assistant repaired my gas boiler at a reasonable price. I was happy to have my central heating restored. I appreciated the team's expertise, efficiency, and reliability. Their communications were very good. I would be glad to use their services again.

I am extremely grateful to Presidential Plumbing and Heating.for their quick response. Last night my water heater failed leaving my family with no heat and hot water. After waiting overnight for another company that advertised 24 hour service but didn’t arrive, I called Presidential Plumbing first thing in the morning.
They responded immediately and were at my home within an hour. The technician was professional and courteous and got right to work correcting the problem. With an elderly person in the house, their prompt and reliable service meant a lot. I truly appreciate their responsiveness and would highly recommend them. Thank you Presidential Plumbing for a job well done!!

Our boiler went down this February. We feel blessed to have connected with Presidential. They were rock solid. Expert advice, trustworthy, efficient and keen to properly address a number of cracked convectors in our home. In addition they managed to move quickly to prevent further damage. They were very respectful of our home, very polite and neat. On a final note the bill to repair and test the system was quite reasonable. Huge thanks to the team at Presidential!

Of the many decisions I had to make throughout a total kitchen remodel, choosing Eastern Standard as the general contractor was by far the best and easiest. Jon and his team took my early 90s kitchen from a total gut job to spectacular in 2 short months. No small feat in post-covid construction times. Jon was able to troubleshoot issues that arose and come up with clever solutions. He was available to communicate around the clock and showed up most weekends to ensure the project was ready for the upcoming week. I felt at-ease working with Jon and trusted that everything was going to turn out great because of his high standards and attention to detail. I would recommend Eastern Standard for any project, big or small, and look forward to having an opportunity to work with them again.
