It’s never great when you need you gas furnace services. We could not be happier with our experience. Manny, our technician was extremely thorough and was able to identify that it was an install issue from 10 years ago. He came back promptly and fixed all of our issues. He was amazing. We quickly got a written report of all the repairs. The scheduling department was awesome and informative and the accounting department was quick to get us our payment invoice.

Wow! Blown away by the quick attention to my problem and the ability to fix it so fast! Within hours of my HVAC unit not working I had an Accutemp team member here ready to assist. I had a very positive experience with Accutemp when my gas furnace malfunctioned just before the bitter cold snap we had in early February. They sent a technician (Tom) right away to diagnose the problem, followed up with clear explanations & quote for repair, and advised me honestly about repair vs. replacing the furnace. I chose to replace it and appreciated, once again, the speed with which Accutemp provided a quote, dealt with all the paperwork required by my condo, and scheduled the installation. The installation itself went smoothly, with technicians (Boris and Dave) who showed up on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up perfectly. Everyone I have dealt with at Accutemp has been professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated Sean, their sales coordinator, who stayed in constant touch with me when I had no heat, brought by 3 space heaters for me to use while I waited for the new furnace to be installed, and who was very kind, patient, and reassuring throughout! I should also add that Accutemp responded promptly to a call I made for my elderly neighbor, whose furnace went out during the recent blizzard. While the bad roads prevented them from coming that day, their technician Jared came promptly the next morning and fixed the problem. I'm very glad to have found a reliable and reasonably priced HVAC company! Don't hesitate to call Accutemp if you need service!

I reached out to EML for issues I had with my dryer. Ed and his colleague Marcus were very attentive and professional throughout the job explaining what the issues were as well as going above and beyond to extend further services. It never felt like a hard sell and the benefits of each service were appropriately explained. Cost aside, EML genuinely takes pride in their work and helping those who need it. I live in a 100 year old house. Everyone told me how difficult it is to retrofit an older house for central AC so I have been putting it off as long as I could. This year, I finally decided to finish the attic and install Central AC. A friend of mine highly recommended EML Mechanical so I called them and Eddie came over for an assessment.

Eddie is extremely knowledgeable about all the available options and new systems (various new ductless and ducted systems). He listened to my goals for finishing the attic and the future floor plan. Then he thoroughly explained the best possible options for my project which would be more energy efficient, look better, and take up far less space outside the house.

Eddie and his team are absolutely awesome! Their professionalism, responsiveness, and high quality work is much appreciated. I work from home and this team was so thoughtful and professional in keeping the space clean. The ducted mini split systems were installed as scheduled and on time. EML - phenomenal! After experiencing an issue with my HVAC, I called their office (after business hours), and received a text message shortly after… they helped me try and fix the issue on my own that same night, and then arrived the next day to fully resolve the problem. Great service and reliable. Highly recommend them if you are in the Somerville / Medford area.

Ed and his team did a fantastic job. We were able to get scheduled in a short time frame, they came over and cleaned our vents and also cleaned up after they were done. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be utilizing them again in the future.

Eddie and Markus came out to diagnose a cooling issue in my commercial unit. They scheduled me for same day diagnosis and arrived on time and started immediately after explaining the steps very thoroughly. Eddie found two issues preventing cooling to my unit and repaired both. In just over an hour my system was running better than before and blowing cool air! Markus and Eddie both were very professional and knowledgeable, they knew exactly what to look for. As well as fixing the issue they labeled my system for future reference and left the place clean. I would definitely recommend them for all your hvac needs.

Couldn't be happier with EML Mechanical. We had them replace a high-velocity AC system, a mini-split, and install a Google Nest thermostat. Now that temps are in the 90s I'm especially thankful for their work. Eddie came out and gave us a straightforward quote and a great price. Ed is extremely knowledgeable, honest and provides excellent service. He came out promptly to assess the project after my initial outreach to replace our A/C system. He provided a thorough quote including options and talked us through the pros/cons of each option. He also provided valuable information regarding rebates available from the local utility company for purchasing the system. Ed and Marcus were outstanding to work with during the demolition of the old system and installation of the new system which took place over several days. EML Mechanical installed a mini split air handling system in our archive to provide climate control for our historic collection of photographs and documents. Eddie was so helpful and accommodating during the course of this project and the installation was easy to schedule and took place very quickly. We are so thrilled with the results, the new system is working beautifully!

These guys are the absolute best! They do our regular hvac check ups but this year we had an emergency. The day we were supposed to fly out on a trip we woke up to a very strange smell coming out of one of the vents. We reached out to EML and they were able to come that day.
