Advanced Mechanical installed a Unico AC system for us in 2009 and have serviced it ever since. We had a great installation experience and other than a loose clamp or changing filters, we’ve had no problems or complaints. I attribute this to an intelligent installation and good maintenance. Their employees are professional and courteous and arrive on time. They also clean up after themselves. We are totally satisfied and highly recommend!

AMS is always friendly, highly communicative, and the work is done exactly the way that they discuss in both time and cost -- no surprises. We've used them for planned improvements and unplanned emergencies, and in both cases they're wonderful. We are very, very happy with them.

Brenda - very unprofessional Customer Service. She should be embarrassed by the way AMS has trained her to talk to customers. Is hanging up on customers a normal practice for AMS?

AMS sold us a water heater 4 years ago - its now leaking and well within the 6 year Manufacturer's warranty window - but AMS wants us to pay ~$800 to install the replacement. What? The labor costs should certainly be included in warranty resolution, or at least the Manufacturer's problem - not the customer with a faulty product.

AMS always quick to respond in time of need- from the office staff to the field techs. Professional and courteous AMS field technicians always leave the work site neat and clean. I highly recommend AMS !

I've been using AMS for almost 10 years now. I would highly recommend using them. I had a new furnace and water heater installed by AMS when I first moved into my new home. I have not had an issue in 10 years with either one. I also had central AC put in by AMS. The install was done professionally and they cleaned up the mess at the end of the day. Great customer service, fast response time and very knowledgeable. These guys are great! When you want it done right the first time, call AMS!

We have been using this company for several years for our boiler-heating system and they are great. The person they send to our house is always knowledgeable, diagnoses and fixes the problem quickly, and cleans up well after the work is done. They also respond very quickly to emergency calls. There may be less expensive HVAC companies out there but we feel that we always full value for the quality service they deliver.

After several months of gathering information and several quotes, we could not be more pleased with our decision to use AMS for our new heat pump and furnace installation. Joe is very knowledgeable and was always prompt in answering my many questions. The installation team promptly showed up on the scheduled date and completed the job in one day. Under the leadership of Cristian, and his crew Bobby, Ryan and Andrew, they were very professional and knowledgeable. Brenda was very helpful also with her guidance in obtaining Mass Save rebate information. Thank you AMS for a job well done!!

We have an ongoing dispute with AMS over the quality of their work. The plumbers drilled giant holes through the joists compromising the safety of the building. The building inspector had advised to attach additional material to the joists or the tile would crack. Also they install a radiator on the wall improperly and it fell. The freestanding tub drain was not installed properly and leaked through the ceiling in the new kitchen. Another plumber had to be called to open the ceiling the fix Advanced Mechanical System's shoddy work on the drain. I fired AMS and paid several thousand dollars to another pluming company to finish the job. Do not recommend, stay away from this company. Brenda in the office is extremely rude and does not care about customers.

Very happy with AMS. Joe was very helpful in helping to pick the right HVAC system and his team were excellent. It felt like I had a bunch of MIT engineers doing the install - they were so knowledgeable with such deep technical expertise.

The entire AMS team is fantastic - we suffered through the summer without AC as we worked through the Mass Saves process. Brenda, Joe, Brian and the entire rest of the team were exceptional in helping us to understand what we needed to do, what the right equipment for us was, answering all our questions, and even took our very difficult installation in-stride. 10/10 would recommend them and will work with them again for service and maintenance. Great to have Charlie out not only for our regular burner tune-up but also to open the water tank, clean it out thoroughly, and enable me (the homeowner) to see the (pretty good) condition of the glass-lined tank. All good! We love AMS' attention to detail, quality of work, punctuality, and patience with explanations!

We had a great experience with AMS for converting our house from oil to gas. They took care of everything from working with the town on the inspection to the gas company. We were so impressed with how quickly they got everything done, how well they cleaned up and how we had no issues. Would 100% use them again and highly, highly recommend!!!!

I work at a dog rescue and AMS has been here all week working on putting a new system in for us. Christian has been amazing communicating with us, the staff here has been so impressed with how clean and non-intrusive they have been with the dogs. The AMS crew is working fast and efficient and just doing a great job! Highly recommend!

AMS was with me every step of the way, from the frozen pipe in February, to the new hot water heater in March, and the new HVAC system today. The crew was professional, skilled, experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly too. I could not be more pleased with their integrity and workmanship. I got a few quotes, checked references, and they are an excellent value too! I am glad I chose AMS and recommend them highly.

I've used AMS for a couple of years now and their service is far better than anyone I've used before. They have been prompt and their service techs actually know what they are doing. Prices seem higher than most, (but they fix things right on the first visit, so I'm not sure I'm actually paying more.)

After evaluating quotes from several HVAC contractors for a heat pump system to replace our old AC, AMS stood out as being the most thorough, - evaluating our needs and came in with a very competitive price. They went above and beyond with their installation and had a great crew. They were also very responsive following up on a few questions and issues we had.

I highly recommend AMS for HVAC work. They replaced my oil fired HW heater and furnace with a heat pump/heat pump hot water heater in one day and I could not be more pleased. AMS' president came to my home, answered my questions, and was direct and knowledgeable. The fact AMS had installed 30 heat pumps in Concord that qualified for the town rebate program was a factor in my decision, but witnessing their work illustrated why they have installed more heat pumps than other contractors. His quote was reasonable and very competitive with four other quotes. The installation team arrived on time, protected my floors, removed the old equipment/oil tank , and cleaned up very well. I particularly liked that they adjusted "on the fly" the outside unit to not be visible from inside the house. The final touch was to use bubble wrap insulation on all the exposed basement A/C ducts which imparted an orderly and very professional finish to the job. I highly recommend AMS for your HVAC work.

Out AC failed, and given that the furnace was also old, we decided to replace both. We reviewed proposals from three contractors and selected AMS because they seemed most knowledgeable about the systems they would install and about pros and cons or going all heat pump or dual fuel. For both options, AMS provided a Best/Better/Good/Budget option. We liked being able to review different kinds of equipment to make a choice, and we found their pricing competitive. AMS was kind enough to move us up in the scheduling since we had no AC. The crew arrived in the middle of the June heatwave and started work at 7:30am and worked until the job was finished around 6pm. It can't have been the easiest day for the crew, working in high temps and with no AC, but they were professional, communicative, and cheerful throughout. Cleanup from the removal of the old system was thorough. Crew leader Christian was easy to work with and took time to answer all of our questions about the new thermostat, system operation, and maintenance, even though it was the end of a long day. AMS office staff has also been helpful with the paperwork needed for tax and Masssave rebates. Highly recommend AMS for new system installation!

AMS has always been spectacular. They arrive for appointments when they say they will. The techs are prepared and very knowledgeable. AMS is always a pleasure for installing and now servicing our heat pump unit!
