Constraction reviews in Wakefield, Massachusetts

I had a wonderful experience with XL Construction on my first major home renovation in Lynn, MA. While I had managed a few smaller projects before, this one required a contractor with real expertise. I’ll admit, I was nervous about working with someone new who hadn’t been referred. Between family and friends giving their opinions and reading countless horror stories online about unreliable contractors, I felt overwhelmed. But sometimes you have to trust your intuition and I’m glad I did.

The Project Manager, Jason, was fantastic from day one. At our first meeting, he walked me through past projects, explained the renovation process step by step, and set clear expectations. When I was unsure about finishes and layout designs, Jason offered thoughtful suggestions on features that would add value to the home and even shared sketches and images to help me visualize. He was patient when I changed my mind or came up with new ideas, and his communication throughout the project was excellent.

Jason truly guided me through the entire renovation, making the process smoother and less stressful than I ever imagined. Over the years, I’ve recommended XL Construction to family, friends, and colleagues and now I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.

We recently had interior painting done by Mike and his team. Mike was professional and easy to work with and his team was great! They were friendly and clean and got the job done quickly. We will definitely be using Mystic Painting in the future!

Paint to match my downspouts perfectly to my house. Very professional. On time and even left me some paint left over in case we scratched them installing them. Definitely would use again. Thanks Michael!

like a home! Very professional, friendly and always goes above and beyond. I’ve hired them 3 times over the past few years and have been extremely happy with the results.

I haven't used Mike and his team, yet! But when it's time he's definitely the guy. All I hear are top level reviews about him and his team.

Mike's attention to detail and customer service are second to none. I had him work on my deck and we had him quote an interior job. If you are looking for someone with great knowledge of his craft and superior follow-through, Mike is your best choice.

Mike and his team at Mystic Painting just completed a fantastic exterior paint job at our home this week which we are very happy with ! - and the neighbors love it based on the many compliments received - their attention to detail and to our family needs was outstanding - it really shows - cannot wait to get them inside this winter for some interior work - HIGHLY recommended !!

Mike sanded and painted stairs, 11 doors, and casings and walls in my 103 year old home. This company is one of the good ones!

Mike and his team's attention to detail is second to none. The time they take to understand your vision, to properly prepare the room, and to see the job through to the finish is fantastic. Strongly recommend.

Recently had three rooms painted by Mike and Brian and we could not be happier! We live in an older home with older windows that needed a lot of attention. The prep work was crucial to ensure a good outcome. They sanded the walls for a good portion of the day, when the paint went on the walls looked new, and so smooth! The walls and trim look amazing, the attention to detail shows in every room. Also they are neat and tidy and show up on time, which means a lot! Mike was great from the first contact, quick to respond, professional and provided an estimate right away. Mystic Painting was the very best choice for us, we will call Mike again for future work and gladly share his name and know he will not dissapoint!!

We hired Mystic Painting to paint our entire second floor after a remodel, they were fantastic! They used a sander that sucked in all the dust so there was no mess which was awesome. Mike helped us with picking colors and we couldn’t be happier, ever room looks amazing! We will be having them come back to paint our 2nd bathroom and I can’t wait. I highly recommend them, outstanding job!
