Two people came to the house with no appointment and cleaned the gutters by using a blower and within 10 minutes they were done and left and charged me $197
That was really a ripoff, I don’t recommend them to anyone.

Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning team did a great job cleaning our gutters - thorough, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterward. The only hiccup was communication: there was a weather delay (which I totally understand), but I didn’t get any updates until about an hour before they arrived. They have also started taking pictures to provide in a follow report, but they didn't actually take pictures of the cleaned gutters, just the hose spooled back up and the "work complete" sign on the door. That said, the quality of the work made up for it, and I’d still recommend them and use them again.

Once again both men who came did an excellent job. Very courteous and professional. They let me know when they arrived and when they where done. I couldn’t be happier with your services.

Couldn’t have been happier with their speedy and thorough gutter cleaning service! We’re surrounded by trees and our gutters hadn’t been addressed in a long time.. It was a big job and the two guys that came were great. Price was super reasonable, too. Would certainly use again.

I am not a person who likes writing negative reviews. However, I have to share my terrible experience with Ned Stevens in MA. I wish you can read the review before making a decision.

First, TIMELINESS: On Jan 6th, 2021 Ned Stevens called me for the gutter cleaning job I inquired at Home Advisor and arranged the service for me. The sales told me that they will come and the clean the gutter as soon as the weather permits. Nobody showed up in two weeks which had very calm weather (no snow or rain or gusts) I called back and was told that the gutter cleaning would be done until late February. I asked for the manager and got a return call from him: Weather permits means , not just the calm weather, it means 38 degree and above. Fortunately, he put me on a date on Jan 22nd which is above 38 degree. This 38 degree criteria is not disclosed by the sales, not shown on their website, not disclosed by the customer service. It is just the manager's hidden policy.

Second, PRICE: When the sales contacted me, I gave all the house information she asked: how many stories, the square footage, the year, the address and etc. The sales even checked the satellite image map of the house before giving me the quote of $480 with the first time customer discount. However, on the day when the gutter cleaning team showed up, I got a call from the manager that he can not honor the quote of $480 and had to charge me $700 for the job because my house looks beautiful. Later on he lowed it to $630 after my protest. What a bait and switch! $150 more only because my house looks beautiful?

Third, QUALITY: I am attaching a picture I took on the day they finished their job. You can see needle and leaves still in the gutter. They put the leaves in the trash bags and left them on the curbside in a town without curbside trash collection.

I am a first time customer of Ned Stevens and will probably be the last time customer too. The only thing they brag about is that their workers have insurance. Ned Stevens may have better service in other states but not in Massachusetts.

Juan and Ruis were professional in their work, listened to my requests, and left the work area just as one would want. Best crew I have had over the years.

Only offer automated services. If you want to talk to a person doing the work at your house, or be present for the work that's being done, good luck, because they will fight you on providing details. They often provide 2 minutes to 2hrs notification before they arrive, and the 'foreperson' does not speak English and cannot answer questions. Requests to have them knock on the door when they arrive are ignored. Discussions with customer support on the phone and managers earn you the same "this is how we do it" responses. Requests to customer service to provide a rough guess at arrival are answered with "Dispatch won't tell us anything more than 'sometime today'". Reports of 'problems found with your gutters' you receive after service are generic, and you cannot speak to anyone who was at your home who can describe what they saw and what needs to be done - it's all second hand. Additionally, if they clean your gutters and find no leaves at all, you'll never hear about it. This isn't a 'customer is always right' kind of service, but a 'pay us and forget you hired us' kind of service.

On time, flexible, gutter cleaning was explained and after cleanup was very good! I recommend Ned’s. Honest company.

They did a great job. The young men were very friendly. They cleaned up well and actually did more than expected, like they blew the leaves off the driveway!

We had Ned Stevens clean our gutters. They did a great job, including fixing misaligned downspouts. They came back a week later and replaced the front gutters that had been crushed by a tree. Both teams were fast, professional and clean. I look forward to working with them again in the future. They have a number of different services they offer. 👍👍

We have been customers for a few years for gutter, roof and dryer vent cleaning. We had been notified that our deck needed attention. We've been in our home for the past 20 years and have only pressure washed our deck once. We live in a wooded area, so needless to say, once in the last 20 years is insufficient. There was a lot of green fuzziness going on. Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning had been notifying us that it should be addressed, but we had to prioritize house tasks. It was finally time to bite the bullet and schedule the service. Since it was the end of the season, we were able to get a discounted rate. We were told that the crew would arrive within 2 weeks. Got a text one day that they were on their way, so we rushed down to move some of the items on our deck. The 2 man crew, who were very nice, showed up within an hour of receiving the text. We discussed what was going to be done and they said they'd clean the custom wood furniture that we'd removed from the deck as well. A couple of hours later, our doorbell rang and they showed us the amazing work performed. The deck/furniture was still soaked, but we could tell it was a huge difference! We were told that if we were not satisfied, they'd come back to make it right. We've never had to call them back for any of their services, as they've always done a great job. Took a picture after everything had dried and it was night and day. I highly recommend Ned Stevens! Most of the time, we don't even have an interaction as their services are performed without the need of the homeowners presence. It was a pleasure dealing with the 2 gentlemen that made our deck look brand new.

While they were prompt and did clear the gutters, they damaged the heating wires on the roof. Ultimately, i had to climb on the roof to repair the damage.
I will not be recommending this company to friends and neighbors. I will be moving on to a different company in the spring.

Very happy with the Crew they have been sending out. They work fast and leave it clean. The yearly fee for gutter cleaning is very reasonable.

Ned Stevens crews have recently performed excellent work on the gutters for our home.
First, they were able to completely clean out our gutters which had been clogged for quite awhile. I was able to see that during a recent, very heavy rainstorm that the gutters were flowing properly with the rain water properly flowing into and out of the drains at the base of the house. During the storm, the gutters did not overflow as they had been doing previously. After the storm, the one gutter that I can see from a window in the house was completely clear of water.
Second, they returned as scheduled a couple of weeks later to repair some downspouts and downspout joints (which they replaced with scuppers) that had been loose and/or leaking. They were able to send me a text message when they were on the way here, so that I was able to meet them outside to see them perform their work.

Ned’s Home, crew members promptly showed up to clean the house windows and completed the job in a timely manner. Crew was also friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends!!

The service was fine but it was just too early. We normally do this cleaning closer to the end of the season given the amount of trees that surround our home and the timing of those leaves and pine needles falling.

SCAM - I have tried to cancel the services and they keep showing up. Very sneaky. If you call to cancel they make you jump through hoops and have a scripted answer for everything as well as put you on hold for extended periods of time. Clearly a ploy to get the caller to give up. Used to be a good company, but under new ownership and awful.
