Brandon C, Stan and the rest of the folks actively working on site were great and are the reason for a five star review. They were efficient and answered all of my question, even ones that were just pure curiosity on my part.

Even when we asked for a later start time due to the sleeping newborn, they were understanding and accommodating.

The on site workers really carry the team and have the best customer service.

The mini splits and new water heater work (so far) flawlessly. The removal of the old oil equipment was removed with zero mess.

I was extremely satisfied with Modern Energy. They were great to work with and their installation of our mini splits exceeded my expectations!
I want you all to know how great Dave and Aaron were installing the new mini splits. They were very professional, personable and respected our property inside and out. They cleaned up as they went along.
They explained everything very clearly upon completion of the job.
We love the ceiling cassette style too!

This is the company you need if you're looking for a mini split installer. They really did a beautiful job and were very professional. The entire crew was very helpful with our questions and concerns during the installation and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. Highly recommend.

Just got our system checked out and cleaned by Will and Noah. These guys are masters of their craft. Still 5 stars and still highly recommended.

Modern Energy recently helped me complete a full home heating and cooling upgrade through the Mass Save Heat Loan program. A process that took over three months from start to finish. From the initial consultation and energy audit to the loan application, insulation work, system design, and final installation, it was a long and sometimes confusing process.

Thankfully, Modern Energy had specialists guiding me through every step. I worked with about ten different people from the company, and every single one of them was professional, respectful, and attentive. They listened to my concerns and made sure the job was done right.

Although the project was originally scheduled for three days, the team came back for two additional days just to ensure everything was perfect.

I couldn’t be happier with the final result and would highly recommend Modern Energy to anyone considering a home energy upgrade.

Top notch! I recently had a Mitsubishi mini split heat pump system installed and could not be happier with the service. The job took three days to install the compressor and four head units for my home. At one point, Modern Energy had what seemed to be three crews working on this install. My wife and I were VERY impressed with their professionalism, skill of install, and overall knowledge of the system. I missed a couple of names (sorry guys), but I'd like to thank Anthony, Brayden, Chris, Jeremy, Jeff and Lori for making this such a pain free process from start to finish. The system works great, they gave me a 12 year warranty, and the assurance that they'll be there for us should we have any problems, questions, or concerns. Of the many home improvement projects over the years, this team of professionals have been some of the finest I have experienced. Thank you Modern Energy!

The customer support is great and fast. Brain who was the first person I met, walked me through options and step by step of getting the needed paperwork to get going. Brian even went above and beyond and helped me with the HOA piece as well. Lori in the office is so sweet and great at getting information to the team so I didn't have to contact multiple parties. I had three people who did the 5-zone installation, and Jimmy and JV were just amazing. Jimmy was so professional and well spoken, I was impress with not only his work in the trade but how he conducted himself when interacting with me. JV also great, he was kind, and apologized for any misunderstanding. In addition, he made sure that end of each day the house was really cleaned up. Jimmy and JV were so trusting, professional, and kind. I also need to shout out the two electricians, Ryan and Jordon. These guys were very meticulous when going through the electrical compents. They were making sure I felt good about everything and informed me in terms I could understand of what they did and what that all meant. I really have to say Lori, Brian, Jimmy, JV, Ryan, and Jordon made this project that induced allot of aniexty on me, to be relaxing and easy on my end. Thank you Modern Energy

Horrible company. Complete lack of communication from the moment I signed up to now 1 1/2 year later. System was $38,000 in an upscale rental house I own. I asked for updates during installation. None. I live 1700 miles away. There was a problem with Mass Sav rebate of $10,000. Only part of it was sent. I asked Jeff to follow up on it to which he replied “There is no possible scenario that that could happen.” I sent him supporting documentation but no help at all. I asked a few times for a hard copy of manual and warranty. Nothing.
The house is vacant now so I asked them to clean and maintain the system. I know. My bad. $375 and I’ve emailed about the condition and what was done. And I called. No response.
I was left with three dirty filter and told I needed to get them. Read the bottom of invoice.
Still have no idea about what was done. Still no paper work except for the paid bills.
The Mass Sav plan is great but just stay away from this.company. Particularly Ed and Jeff.

Modern Energy just finished up a job at our house installing 4 mini splits and I can’t say enough wonderful things about them and their work! Timely, professional, organized, tidy, and high quality work! Highly recommend them to anyone requiring services. Matt and Yahir were amazing all week and also exceptional work from Will, Eric, Brandon D and Jeff. Morden energy did a fantastic job installing 4 heat pumps Dan sat down with me and explained how the system works and how the installation will be done. My installation Crew Nick and Tito were fabulous,hard working, very courteous. They covered and cleaned up everything they were great team. Jimmy, JV, and Isaac replaced an ancient heat pump at my mother's condo with an efficient new Bryant system. They were absolutely professional in all respects and worked hard to minimize any disruption. I would not hesitate to recommend the entire Modern Energy team based on our positive experience.

We had a great experience working with Modern Energy to install mini splits into our house, especially working with Cesar Solano, he is extremely nice and always answer all our questions and concerns even after the installation was done. They helped us through the whole process from getting the rebate from the state of MA. The workers were professional and very polite.

I used Modern Energy to take advantage of the current incentives to install a heat pump system in my home. They were extremely easy to work with. Brian was accessible to answer my questions. The company did all the heavy lifting regarding the procurement of the available rebates and interest-free loans. Brandon and Sten did the installation of the the heat pumps, duct work, and mini-splits in a courteous, and unobtrusive manner. They arrived each day in a timely manner, did an excellent job with the installation, and clean-up The job was completed with no hold-ups and in the time originally told to me. Lastly, I sought bids from 5 different firms and Modern Energy's was the most competitive. If anyone is thinking about heat pump conversation, the decision to use Modern Energy will be an easy one.

Modern Energy installed Heat pumps for my house. They were thorough, considerate, and prompt. All crews were nice and explained everything well. They were able to make adjustments as needed or when asked. It was great to work with Modern Energy so i am doing an insulation work with them soon.

We had the best HVAC installation experience with Modern Energy - from their prompt responses to our RFP (I asked 7 companies to complete a questionnaire so I could do apples-to-apples comparisons) and upfront explanation of what the work timelines would be, to the actual installation and installation follow-up, they met and exceeded our expectations. We have an historical home with radiator heat and we were quite reluctant to install a ducted HVAC system. They completely understood our concerns and worked with us to install a two system (upstairs and downstairs) ducted Heat Pump solution that is minimally invasive and very quiet.

While the company took care to make the purchasing decision easy (e.g., handled all the rebates, easy billing process - pay by credit card), what impressed me most was the day-to-day workers. Everything was done to keep on scheduled (it was a 13 business day installation). Led by Jimmy and JV who were there every day, and supported by Joe, Serge, and Anthony when needed, the team was professional, courteous, and hardworking. We were appraised every morning on what work was going to be done that day and every evening given an update on what was accomplished. Brandon Perry, the lead person from Modern Energy, was out to our home several days inspecting the work and addressing any questions we had. At the end of the process, he walked us through, step-by-step, on how to optimize the installed solution.

This was my first time working with Modern Energy. With a significant expense allocated to this project, we have walked away believing we picked the right company for the right reasons. We would highly recommend Modern Energy.

I had Modern Energy install a new ducted Heat/AC system in my attic. They also moved an existing Mini split from my kitchen to the garage. The entire crew worked professionally and efficiently. Parry did a fantastic job moving the kitchen unit and balancing the system as well as setting up the outdoor condenser unit and other things. Kyle and Noah installed most of the new system including the room registers and ductwork. They each took pride in their work and did a great job on the system. I am very pleased with the employees of Modern Energy and recommend them.

Modern Energy just finished the install of whole-home heating and cooling (with a heat pump) on my home yesterday. From start to finish, from the initial visit with Andrew, the system install team, Jimmy and JV, the electrical team, Joe and Ryan, and the final walk-through with service manager Brandon, the install was very professionally done. Each day, my home was left broom-clean, and every possible care was taken to protect my home every step of the way. Every member of the team was professional, knowledgeable, polite, prompt, respectful of me, my time, and my home--there aren't enough accolades that I could bestow on them. Jimmy and JV were there working very hard every day; other members of the team came each in their turn. From the very beginning when Cesar showed up to give me a quote and offer some options and help with the Mass Save incentives to having the A-Team show up for the install. Jimmy, J V, and Anthony were not only professional and hard-working, but they were always on time, very thorough and courteous. They were installing my mini splits during a very hot spell, and yet they continue to work endlessly. I don’t want to forget to also mention Chris, the project manager for all he did! Modern Energy went above and beyond to do great work on a difficult project, and I highly recommend them.

We needed to retrofit our Victorian-era home with a ducted HVAC system, while preserving as much of the classic style as possible. We knew this was going to be a big project, but we wanted it done right.

The sales manager, Ryan, helped arrange several walkthroughs with the team to come up with a plan customized for our house. No one-size-fits-all approach here, everything was very tailored. Ryan also helped us navigate the MassSave process to save us money. The project manager, Chris, then helped to arrange and oversee an installation to fit our schedule.

For the actual installation, Tim and his team also did a great job. Tim let us know exactly what his team planned to do, and were generally careful and meticulous in their work. There *were* some surprises (as expected for an old home) but they were always willing to adjust their plans and work with whatever was thrown at them.

Our old house has now been modernized with a heat pump system, preserving all the old charm we love.

Ben was amazing. He listened to everything I was describing about the problem, he check our heating system and explained the problems he found. He said how to fix it and I agreed. Very patient, professional and friendly. I highly recommend him.
