Reckingers Heating and Cooling is absolutely fantastic. I would like to thank the wonderful staff first of all. Thank you to Jana, Denise, and Steve the owner for being so understanding and compassionate. We needed to replace a hot water tank and furnace due to flooding from water back up. This company has exceeded our expectations by far. Reckingers is a 100 percent class act company! Steve went out of his way to make sure we received everything at a phenomenal price. Reckingers has restored my confidence in a great company that looks out for there customers. This company is professional, punctual, and went beyond expectations to accommodate our needs. Also want to thank the installation crew that were very polite, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Nick is beyond what you’re looking for! In days of uncertainty with availability, reliability and professionalism; this is the gentleman you want out. I’m a veteran Officer and have met a lot of people; what a great guy! I’m beyond impressed with his knowledge, experience, capability and more. I recommend the company and this man! It was a perfect service call.

These guys are my heroes!! I needed new batteries for my car keys, I had to go to work, it was 7AM, nothing was opened, and I was PANICKING. I went to Reckingers Heating & Cooling to see if they had batteries by chance, and THEY DID! They helped me replace the batteries of my car key, and didn't even charge me for it. Truly top-notch quality service! They were incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. Thank you so much!!

This company is fantastic. I had another company install a part that they said was bad, when the furnace stopped working less than 2 weeks they never called me back and wouldn’t answer my calls. Reckinger to the rescue. They came out same day checked my furnace and discovered it was leaking carbon monoxide, which is why furnace stopped working, they quoted me for new furnace came and put a temporary one in. The next day they installed my new furnace. Very nice people to deal with from office staff, sales person and of course the technician’s who came to my house. I am even going to be set up on there maintenance program.

I love that you can call one company and they can take care of any issues you have from, Infloor radiant heat, steam boilers, tankless boilers, Tankless hot water heaters, Combo tankless water heater, and boilers in one, Space packs for air conditioning, Ductwork and whole house standby generators never be left in the dark ever again. Excellent company highly recommended!

Reckingers always responds quickly and has never made me wait for service. They've made emergency calls to my house on weekends with very reasonable rates They also just installed a new furnace at my house two days after their initial visit. The new furnace was a great upgrade at a great price. What I appreciated the most was the technician discusing options for repairs before I asked about a recommendation for a new unit.

I have been dealing with this heating and cooling company for over 6 plus years. The service is always exceptional and professional Thank you Zhanna for always being so nice and professional. Your wonderful. Also to the management and Techs you guys do fantastic work. Lifetime customer. 🙏♥️🙏

$240 for a service call.
They charge $99 to show up and $130 to diagnose what is the problem.

They lie that their service call is $99, they also told us (the owner, Steve) multiple times that they will waive the fee and even when we got the invoice my husband asked Steve if we need to pay it and he said no. Well long story short they sent us a letter that they will send us to collections and I told them I would rather pay the service call but why is there a need for “labor charge” when there was no labor - they did not fix our AC and she said and I quote “Well the technician didn’t just show us at your front door and left within 2 minutes, he stayed there for longer than 2 minutes to diagnose the problem” and I told her that that’s what the service charge is for, she replied “No, the service charge is for him to come out, the labor price is for if he stays for longer”.

Well just so you know - if the technician stays longer than 2 minutes - they charge $130 for labor which is WAYYY more than other companies charge for diagnosing the problem.

Never using them again. All in all really bad experience and company. From lying for months they will waive the charge to their prices - beware of them.

Reckingers always gets the job done when I call. .. very efficient and has helped tremendously in my time and others... couldn't get heat to work.. came over and did a couple things.. now everything is good.. thanks Reckingers I recommend to everyone if you want the job done right!!!

Had this company come out last night because our heat wasn’t working. Nick, the service guy was here for maybe 15mins and never looked at the igniter that my brother suggested he look at. He said we had lint and needed to change the filter. Lied to his boss about lent in our basement. Charged us $234 and left. House continued to get cold. My brother in law came out after working his afternoon shift and took the igniter out, cleaned it and boom 💥 heat started working. The company has good reviews and had a family member have very good service with them, but honestly I think the service man Nick was the problem. The owner wanted to come out today and charge us half price to look at our furnace, but I found this ridiculous. We should get some type of refund, but no answer on phone calls or text from a family member. It’s too cold to be leaving people in the cold and charging for no solution … feels like highway robbery.
