If I can select zero star, I would. The technician who came over to my home was the rudest person I have ever met. I had to have him come over only because the company is my home builder's contracted vendor for HVAC, and I deeply regretted calling them for the service. This company installed HVAC and wired through wall to the thermostat when my home was being built. They did not properly wire cables into the electric board inside of the HVAC control panel so the fuse for the C cable was burned out. It was a problem they caused. But the technician said he would not fix the problem with warranty just because we changed the thermostat to new one. The problem is not about thermostat because both old and new thermostats themselves are working properly in other homes when we tried. I tried explaining to him but he just shut me down by saying "whatever you said does not matter to me", slammed the door and left. I have never met such a rude person before. I could understand the warranty would get void if any change/additional installation is made due to the warranty clause but come on, this issue was caused by them. Also the technician's terrible attitude is unacceptable. I would never want to deal with this company again.
Anyways, I called the other service company which is so much better than DeAngelis and they fixed it perfectly with a professional attitude and explanation. It was not free of charge of course, but it was way more worth spending my money on them than this rude one.

Whoever is driving van number 1505 today 3/5/24 around 5:30pm needs to be let go. If I hadn’t slammed on the brakes, you would’ve hit the front of my vehicle with the way you jerked the van over into my lane. Reckless driving all the way down Southfield rd too- speeding and cutting people off with no turn signal. You need to remember your company’s logo is plastered all over your vehicle. You’re gonna hurt someone one day with that driving.

Whoever is driving the van with a brown goatee on 08/17/23 between 5:20-5:30PM needs to be let go or someone else needs to drive for the company. Super unprofessional. Smoking a cigerette while driving the company van. He was also driving reckless down I-94 by cutting me off with little to no room with the car in front of me with no signal on. I almost posted a picture of the plate but I’m not gonna be as disrespectful as this man was. By the looks of other reviews they aren’t even good at their job. Don’t bother with them.

We are having issues with our furnace not heating the home. Pulte Warranty contacted DeAneglis. The technician that came to our house yesterday was friendly and professional and I paid for the service call and time. He's been at our house before and was pleasant to deal with both times. I called DeAngelis this morning just to ask a few questions about upcoming scheduled service and the clerical staff was very friendly to speak with. But then the manager or owner (not sure which) called me back this afternoon. This might've been the most disrespectful call I've ever received as a customer. When I called, I simply asked a question to the clerical staff in the morning if the parts for my repair would be covered under warranty since the same lady told me just the day before the furnace parts were still under warranty. Apparently he did not like that. He called me in a very disgruntled mood. From the very beginning of the phone call he was loud, rude and disrespectful. Instead of answering any questions, he would argue with me and blame me that the issue was our fault (which it very well could have been and I had already explained that to the service tech just yesterday). All I did was ask the clerical person a simple question and he called me back in a fit of rage. I would've been happy to pay out of pocket for the return service and all parts if he would've just calmly explained to me what happened and the next steps going forward. Based solely on his temperament and lack of professionalism, I will never call this company again. Sadly, Pulte uses DeAngelis for all their homes. They should switch to a company that actually cares about customer service.

Technician from Detroit Heating & Cooling was outstanding. Found the problem quickly and fixed it efficiently. Friendly and professional the entire time. We were back to cool comfort in no time. Great service!

Called these people to reinstall an A/C unit
With a 125 service fee and the guy looked at it for about 10 mins and left and told me he would call or text me to find out a price for him to install never did (he told me around 600-1200 when we had there ) just to reconnect an A/C unit and top off 410A business kinds looked more like a scam when the next guy came right after them and reconnect and topped off and made it work perfectly within an hour and at a fraction of what they quoted me, not to mention you would think they would come in a van with tools and etc and not a personal vehicle.

The tech did a good job explaining not just how terribly dirty my outdoor AC unit was but also some details on the inner workings that were getting close the the the end of their useful life. I always appreciate people when they enjoy what they do and take the time to explain it a little bit. My AC unit was disgusting too and he told me I’m due up for an new one soon but didn’t try to pressure me too much to do it quite yet.

Great experience from the get go. Office staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The technician (Ken) was able to come earlier than scheduled and got my heat back on, he was very knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions to help me select a new furnace, The team were right on time for the installation and spent half a day getting it done. All these people are very professional, personable and knowledgeable; I highly recommend this company.

Office team was very friendly and professional, a very rare combination in today's trades Industry environment. Technician arrived as promised, was courteous and professional and observed COVID protocols. Very impressed with my tech. He identified the issue very rapidly and proceeded to resolve. Kim serviced our furnace. He was punctual, very friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. He even showed me how to check on the whole house humidifier that added years after we got our furnace. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
