I'm in my grandparents old home and everything needs upgrading! Dave and Day were professional, helpful and very educational on what my next moves should be on restoring the home. They installed my new water heater in a flash on short notice and clean! I would definitely recommend this company!

They got me back on the schedule for a consult ASAP after I cancelled, thinking the problem was resolved. Dave Ines his stuff, made a quick diagnosis and had work done in an hour tops. Professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

JLH has installed a furnace and water heater in my home. As a first time home owner, I was a little nervous regarding contractors. The owner, Dave put my fears to rest and has provided 10 years of honest, reliable and fare pricing on all work. I continue to use JLH for all heating and cooling maintenance. I would highly recommend this company.

I called JLH Heating and Air Conditioning Co. because my furnace was not working, and I wanted to support a Detroit based business. The first time I called, the gentleman, who was very pleasant, said that they were backed up and they would not be able to get to me for a couple of days. I tried a couple of other companies that said the same thing. So, after a couple of days, I decided to call JLH back to see if they had any appointments available. I spoke to the same gentleman, who I had spoken to before, and he told me that he could come the next day, and that he would call me after 10:00am to let me know the exact time. I waited all day, and did not receive a call at all. I typically do not call companies after they assure me that they will be coming out. My philosophy has always been, I shouldn't have to chase a company down to give them My money. So, at this point after being inconvenienced all day, I called a heating and cooling company in the suburbs who came out and repaired my furnace. It was a rather expensive repair and I would I have preferred to give the money to this company, but unfortunately I was unable to do so. I understand this is a busy time of the year for furnace repairs, but at least call and explain why you are unable to come instead of having someone waiting in a freezing cold house-Totally unprofessional!

Dave at JLH and his team were so great! We did a first floor renovation in Corktown, they relocated our air returns. We also had them back in a pinch to relocate a cooktop hood vent and to install the new hood. They were timely and honest and professional. They even did us a favor and patched the drywall, as we had cabinets coming in the next day. Above and beyond!

Dave had been out to my home years ago to service my furnace and I remember how well his work was back then so naturally I called him when I needed a new central air unit. He came the very next day, along with his son and installed it in one day. Quality work, well informed, couldn’t be happier!

JLH is the only HVAC company I will ever use. Dave and his crew are genuinely good people who care about their customers. They always come out as soon as they can and offer sensible, cost-effective solutions to my heating and cooling needs.

David from JLH Heating did a great job putting in my furnace and central air system. He was very professional, clean, and he delivered exactly what was promised. JLH heating has very competitive pricing and they are very clean and left the work area nice and tidy. I would definitely use their HVAC service again if needed.

We made an appointment for Saturday at 11 am. They arrived 1/2 hour early. They did a thorough maintenance of heating and air conditioning and top off. Also, informed us that we needed a liner in our chimney. He pointed out the neighbors that had them and what we needed and why. Our neighbors received air conditioning maintenance and top off and they said they were very relieved to have the work done. The price was very reasonable but the best part was knowing that we had an honest professional.

Good work & fast service! A quick 3 ton install less than 2 weeks from estimate to install. Took the crew one day 8-3 to get the cool breeze going!

JLH did a fantastic job with installing a water heater in my home. I noticed water pooling around my old water heater around 10pm, called JLH, and they were able to make it out early the next afternoon to replace it. Not only did they do an excellent job with the installation, they also kept in communication, were friendly and helpful, and made sure I could check everything out and ask questions. The water heater they installed is excellent quality, and the price was extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

I scheduled a consultation last Tuesday. They were scheduled to come on Thursday. The consultation went will and we scheduled for a new furnace for the following Monday. Well our furnace went out the day after the consultation on Friday. We called JLH and they came to our rescue immediately, and made sure that we had heat that day. Which I’m so grateful for because I have two small children. David Lee the CEO was very professional and a man of his word. Also the guy that he had working beside him was also very professional. My family is very pleased with all of the work completed. The guys did a fantastic job!!! Everything look wonderful!!! I will be recommending this wonderful Black Owned Business to everyone. They they introduced themselves they were buried professional I did not like the idea that they didn't take a break because they needed one but they were determined to get everything done I love the idea that they cleaned up behind themselves all left my house very nice they showed me around and showed me how to work the items that they put in they were very friendly and very nice to showing me how to work things how things are done I really appreciate them and I would recommend you guys to anybody and I thank you guys so much

I had JLH install an AC unit and smart thermostat. Scheduling was easy, Dave always arrived on time. Got me a quote quickly, the most affordable and best value of several I received. The day of installation Dave and his son arrived early were very considerate and efficient. They had to move a lot of things in the basement but you would never know based how well the put everything back together. They tucked up the pipes for the AC so well you would have no idea they were there. Beyond high quality work, I love that this is a family run company in my neighborhood.

JLH is AWESOME! I absolutely 100% recommend them. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. The pricing and service is unbeatable. From quote to install was a week. I am so excited to have AC again and will only use JLH for all my heating and cooling needs from now on.

Highly recommend! My AC unit stopped working and I called JLH based on their reviews and proximity. I am very happy with their service and have their sticker on my furnace now for all future needs!
Initially I left a message and I got a quick call back and an appointment window the same day. They called when they were on their way and were on time. David explained what they were checking and their pricing up front. They diagnosed my main problem and a secondary one and talked me through my options. I opted for both repairs and my AC was up and running when they left! There were no surprises and prices were very fair.

My husband likes to DIY some repairs but for the efficiency and price of JLH they are my new go-to!
