DO NOT USE!!! I called them to come look over my furnace. Two different technicians told me two different things about my furnace. One said it had a crack the other said it was fine and then I waited two weeks before they told my insurance they "fixed" and "repaired" the issue which they never did. Never did they call me, come back out or fix the issue. When I called them they never called back. They cannot be trusted.

My furnace went out in early February. Elvis worked with my home warranty and installed my new furnace as soon as my home warranty had it in stock and ready. Elvis did a great job. Was mindfully of an elderly gentleman that I take care of and made sure I was able to compensate for the elderly gentleman's situation. I asked questions and Elvis answered all of them completely and professional. I would definitely call Omersons again and again if necessary. Thank you so much Elvis for everything.

Love the work Elvis did! Our furnace broke down and he was incredibly helpful and gave us the best price for great quality work. I had 3 other quotes that didn’t even come near Elvis’s price. Omerson employs people like Elvis. Elvis is the type of person you want when your AC goes out. It took him nearly no time at all to identify the issue and take the time to show me how it happened and why it caused the issues. He quickly fixed the problem and even helped me fend off some hornets while he was at it. True value service with these guys.

Omerson Mechanical is top notch. The Owner and his crew have worked on our air conditioner in the summer and furnace just recently. When our furnace wasn't operating properly on new years eve, the owner made sure he made it out that day and took care of our problem. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Omerson Mechanical did an excellent job for our family when the AC stopped working unexpectedly and in the middle of the latest heatwave! They were quick to respond and patient as we worked through the decision to replace the compressor instead continuing to repair it due to old age. The took the extra time and did a safety inspection of our furnace and found that it was cracked and needed work as well! After all the work was done, the inspector said it was installed as required and passed inspection without concern. We are incredibly pleased with the Omerson Mechanical team and will definitely use them again in the future.

Long story short, I got into a situation with our home insurance and after going around in circles, they sent me Elvis and his crew to service our AC, after the 1st company messed it up. Elvis was very knowledgeable and he even went out of his way to try and help us out with the insurance ppl! Needless to say I’ll just be contacting Omerson right away! He even met our timeline on when we need the AC fixed! Overall great customer service and experience for me! Highly recommend

I've been attempting to use this company for an air conditioner replacement through our home warranty. They had to work hard to get through the review and approval process. 12 days ago they stated they would have the approval email within 24 hours and I've been completely ghosted since then. Have sent several understanding texts, have called and left a message, all with no response. We have been going through this process since Mid May and it looks like I'm going to have to start over with another company. Very sorry and disappointed to have to go that route, as I always prefer working with family owned businesses. Hope they are ok, but I'm not sure what else I can do.

Mr.Sameer helped out greatly, fixed the issue and my A/C is running efficiently at a fraction of cost.Compared to other company who asked to replace the unit for 6-8k.

Omerson mechanical installed a new furnace and AC coil in my home. Their level of expertise, and the quality of their work was absolutely outstanding! They even noticed that my water heater (which was installed by another company) was not installed correctly as per city/state code, and corrected those issues for me.

They will break down anything in as much detail as necessary for the customer to understand what is going on.

Their price points for their services are extremely competitive! They have been our main vendor for the apartment community I help manage, and ALWAYS COME THROUGH! I have seen them work around the clock to make our residents happy and comfortable, which is nothing like I've ever seen in the several years I've been in the property management industry.

Been using Omerson for last at least 3yrs for my property when it comes to heating/cooling. Very knowledgeable and willing to spread his knowledgeable onto you if your interested in the repair or just a tech wanting to learn more. Won't find a better local company in grand rapids area

Omerson Mechanical is the real deal:
I will recommend to anyone needing HVAC services. They are professional, prompt and willing to educate and explain the service to you. Contact them with ease and you will not regret. Elvis was great to work with on our furnace and AC system..

They were contracted with American Home Shield to look at my furnace last fall when it wasn't work. They quickly resolved that issue. However, I repeatedly had the same issues all last winter and spring, and Omerson had to come out repeatedly to replace parts or get it working again. The safety switch on furnace kept tripping, necessitating me having to flip it to reset it but then it would only work for a day or so before tripping again. During the last visit in April 2025, they determined that the furnace wasn't repairable and said they would send a quote to AHS for replacement. Since that time it's been crickets. AHS says they never received a quote and that last work order is still open in their system. They have called and emailed Omerson multiple times with no response. I have called and texted them also with absolutely no response. Currently my furnace only works intermittently and the safety switch keeps tripping, so I'm having to reset it daily. this has been an ongoing issue for months and I'm extremely disappointed that Omerson has ghosted me.
UPDATE: I finally heard from Omerson after posting this review. They indicated they had reached out to AHS. I followed up with AHS and they indicated that he had sent an email to them stating that he couldn't find anything wrong with the furnace despite repeated visits and recommended a 2nd opinion. AHS scheduled a different contractor to come out and provide a 2nd opinion. They diagnosed the furnace as failing and recommended replacement. Within a week I had a new furnace with very little out of pocket.
Very disappointed in Omerson due to poor communication, lack of follow through, and questionable diagnostic skills. They failed to recognize the furnace was failing, instead replacing various parts which did not fix the underlying issue.
