Matt came out and was not only knowledgeable about the job he was doing but advised on other things he noticed for me. He was very kind and he assured me that if I wasnt able to get done what I needed with the Water Heater company I have coming out tomorrow, i could call Moore and I would be able to get it done with them. He was conversational and upfront about everything

Very helpful and understanding in getting a same-day appointment set. Technician explained all steps, even going out of his way to run to the store to pick up some parts. Installations were done very quickly and my AC restored on a very hot day.

Background: My AC went out and I had to call around to see if I could find a company that would, hopefully, come out same day - in Michigan's literal hottest week of the year so far. I made an appointment with a company ( I won't name drop ) and after waiting an entire day for them to show up, they ghosted me. No show, no call, no text.

Scrambling, I called around the following day and the scheduler for Moore not only said they could do same-day, but even apologized it would be "late afternoon". Are you kidding? This was wonderful news!

Antonio showed up an hour earlier than expected and saved the day.

My bar was probably pretty low after having such an awful experience with another company leaving me hanging, but it was a pleasant surprise to not only have them come out same-day, but also deliver a quick repair going above and beyond.

Antonio was friendly too, and seems to be a really hard worker, pushing late hours to help out customers in need. A bit at the mercy of their scheduling team, you know what he didn't do? Ghost me like the other company did. Even if the situation isn't ideal, he showed that a company can be professional and stick to their promises. Shows he cared.

You all are doing it right.

Both Tony & Eric were extremely pleasant & polite, and obviously very knowledgeable about the installation and startup procedure for my equipment (Goodman furnace & ac). Pricing was fair and scheduling was quick. I highly recommend Moore Mechanical for hvac installation to anyone based on my experience.

These guys are the best !!!!! Had a water leak earlier this year and they did a Great job and fast one of the same guys came to fix my furnace,called in the evening here the next morning and tested it out ,just something stupid didnt try to sell me something or run up my bill,just a service call. Very poor decision by Moore plumbing and heating.
Lowe’s brought in a team of Islanders to install a new washer and dryer. They stepped on the baseboard and broke the waterline to the boiler. Then he wants to charge me $500 for a $175 TACO pump!
After looking at the boiler, you could tell he just wanted to leave. He got mad as if I installed the damn boiler! When I told him I’m not an 80 year old lady that just got off the bus…he said “I can leave right now”. I should have showed him the door.
He was supposed to look at the damage and give me an estimate for Lowe’s for $99.
After his lecture he charged me $276!
That’s not what I agreed on with Moore’s office before he came.
The boiler was running fine and it’s cleaned every year. Since Lowe’s showed up it’s now looking like a $3,500 job but he will only replace the baseboard and maybe…just maybe, he might replace the burnt out pump as well.
Moral of the story? Stay away from Moore’s boiler guy.

We’ve had Remmelt’s come out and make repairs to both our AC split air units and our radiant heat system. They were quick, effective and really helped us regulate the temperature of our home. I can’t sing their praises enough.

Had to pay 330 dollars for a 50 cent part. Total bill was 630 for 30 min of work. Never got a quote just a bill. The excuse for the part costing so much is because they did not have the part in the van and the boss had to grab it. Would have happily ran to the store and got it for him if I knew his hourly wage for working was 600hr, charging 330 for a 50 cent part is a joke. Just wish they had better communication skills, would have just done it myself. Also thanks for twisting my water tank I can’t even see the pilot light. Hope your pockets feel better because I’ll be eating ramen noodle for weeks.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Moore Mechanical.
They were prompt in getting back to me with my questions and came the next day.
I am most pleased that they were able to service my hot water heater that is in a very hard to reach location. James was very courteous and helpful. The cost seemed a bit steep, but I didn’t have time to compare prices. Was glad to get it done ASAP.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET TO CLEAN UP THEIR MESS.
Technician came out to service our furnace and fuel oil tank...ended up with diesel sprayed in our basement, a puddle of diesel under the filter, and a couple hundred dollars worth of art supplies destroyed by diesel.
The technician did his maintenance, replaced a part for the fuel oil filter, finished up, told us that he "spilled a little diesel, but I like the smell of it haha", then left. My fiance had to leave for an appointment, but when he returned, the entire house reeked of diesel. Come to find out, the technician spilled more than just "a little" diesel in our basement. There was a puddle of diesel under the filter, the wood holding up the filter was soaked in it, and the shelf next to it holding art supplies covered in a spray of diesel.
We had to spend HOURS cleaning this up during both of our workdays because the entire house smelled so strongly of diesel. We had to throw away the shelf and all the art supplies on it, place the wood, and try to soak up the diesel with several mountains of kitty litter.
My fiance called the office and briefly spoke to Antonio, the service manager. Antonio was dismissive, unprofessional, denied the technician did that, then tried gaslighting us about it. My fiance sent photos, and Antonio finally said he would come out the next day to take a look. Instead of Antonio making a point to correct the issue, he instead didn't come out at all, and had the receptionist call us to cancel and say he would send a $50 refund, which was never received.
Not only did we spend $400 on the maintenance service itself, we are out money from everything that was thrown away, replacement wood, several bags of cat litter, and hours out of our workday and paychecks cleaning up THEIR mess.
The original service tech should have let us know how much was actually spilled, and the Service Manager should have actually remedied the situation, as opposed to gaslighting his customers.
