I am SO grateful for Grand Rapids Plumbing!! I woke up to water all over my basement floor coming from my bathroom, they came right out within an hour and fixed the issue, when all the other companies wanted to come out next day, the techs were very friendly and informative and helped put me at ease.

Highly recommend Grand Rapids plumbing! Super nice crew very easy to work with! Did an amazing job with our water heater and basement bathroom. Cleaned up and left our home looking better than before they started!

Grand Rapids Plumbing did an amazing job completely redoing our master bathroom and replacing old pipes for our renovation. They moved all our hot and cold hookups around (sink, shower, toilet, drain) and the work was done very quickly. They also gave us a great price and were a pleasure to work with. I would 100% use them again for any plumbing fixes or renos in the future.

He did an emergency hot water replacement for us. Called first thing in the morning and had a new, non-leaking water heater by afternoon. I was impressed.

Jud worked with me on the phone on several occasions to offer his comments on my pictures so he was as prepared as possible, with the right parts, when he came here to do the repair in the least amount of time and cost yo me.

Planned on using him to do a bathroom expansion and remodel. Never showed to quote and give a timeframe even when he stated he would. Did not answer his calls and when he finally responded pretended he had never heard from me. Never apologized and when I called him out for having me wait two days to meet him for a quote and not showing and not contacting his response was “lol good luck”

I had a leaky shower faucet and I called Jud. He was absolutely great to chat with. He told me what to do without having to PAY HIM for the job. Said it was an easy fix, walked through each step and STILL said if I had any questions, I could call him - free of charge. If this isn't the best service I have seen, I don't know what is. “Judd the Plumber” (his words) gave me a call to say he doesn’t do gas line installs as he’s not licensed for that kind of work. That, alone, gives me reason to consider him for any future (not gas line) plumbing I will need to fix or replace.

This company is the best!!! Called the night after my sump pump motor burnt out and he was out the next day. He was fast and very proficient he also did something no other plumber has even done, he ask me to take photos of the pipes for size and total sutuation. That enabled him to get the right equipment from his supplier so no mistakes or delays. He was out to us within one hour after our confirmation call and did an amazing job.

Thornapple plumbing called us 2 1/2 hours after we asked for a quote on Angie’s list (on a Sunday morning). They were very upfront with what they could and couldn’t do and then he walked me through how I could fix a plumbing issue on my own. Will definitely be calling them with further problems or if we need our water heater serviced. Also cautioned us to wait until Monday if we can to not be up charged for weekend prices.

Here is the honest experience working with Thornapple Plumbing, the good and bad. They responded promptly to our inquiry and fit us in the very next day to install a fridge water line. The cost seemed to be in line with other quotes as well, which was great! I will say that the plumber did make a mistake in the install and connected the fridge water line to the hot water line and not the cold water line. However, as soon as we contacted him about the mistake, the plumber immediately took responsibility, was apologetic, and turned around to resolve the issue. Mistakes happen on any job, but its how you handle those mistakes that can really demonstrate the quality of the business you're working with. I really appreciated the plumber taking responsibility and resolving the issue immediately.

DTE shut off the gas due to a minor leak at one of my listings. Kyle was quick to respond and provide an estimate for repairs. When he uncovered an even bigger issue he stopped working and explained everything to my client and me and provided a new estimate. He then stayed into the late evening (job had started at 10a) to get everything done so we could get the gas turned back on! The DTE inspector was quick to point out what a great job Kyle had done with the repairs! I will definitely be recommending Trout Plumbing to my real estate clients and calling for myself when I need a great plumber.
