This was our first time calling Mr. Rooter plumbing of Detroit and I was very pleased!! Called them first thing in the morning and was at my house within the hour! Jason A was a absolutely amazing he answered all our questions, engaged with my children even let my son help a little, it was definitely the best experience we could of asked for! We will definitely be calling and using there services again and will be requesting Jason A to come back out!

My mother is 89 years old and we have had this company out three times. One of the times they had left a mess that we have to clean up. One of the times a gentleman came out had brought his son who he supposedly was training, right away he was complaining about the fact that his camera was broke telling me he came without the proper equipment needed he ask me if I knew where the clean out drain was? I did not build the house so I’m not sure how I would know where that was at. I certainly know my 89-year-old mother would not know where it was at so he said no worries he would take care of it. . Never found the clean out drain. We had to call them out a third time. This gentleman seemed to know what he was doing so he took him at his word each time costing my mother $400, oh they did have a 30 day warranty and they did give us $50 off from a coupon.. Here we go again the same drain is backed up again, so I decided I am no longer calling them. I called Roto Rooter And lo and behold they were able to find the clean out drain!! It was under the sink in the basement bathroom so they did what they did. They also have a six month warranty. Hopefully this will resolve the problem once again. It did cost us another $400 because obviously we went with a different company. It makes me sick that my 89-year-old mother has spent almost $1200 on something that was never fixed. My fault for calling them three times and giving them a chance. This company did suggest that if for some reason they have to come back out they will use a Hydro jet to clean out her lines if the other company had suggested that we probably could’ve took the $1200 or more that we spent for wasted services and did that the first time but at least now I know where the clean out drains are something Mr Rooter couldn’t find. I would not recommend Mr. rooter. Very dissatisfied.

Called in the morning for two clogged drains (bathroom tub and sink) and within a couple hours Jimmy arrived. Polite, kind and professional. He assessed the issues that I was experiencing and got right to work. He let me know exactly what I was dealing with in regards to the plumbing in my home and why I was experiencing the issues that I was. He was able to free up the clog in my sink and drastically made the one in my tub better. Jimmy was great and I appreciated his honesty as well as his efficiency.

This was my third time using Mr. Rooter for plumbing home repairs. Each of these times, the service was great and the price very reasonable. The first time they didn’t even charge me. The service men were very professional, wore the protective shoe covers, explained before and after the process of their work and answered any questions that I had. I will gladly recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone who is in need of a good and dependable service man in plumbing. I totally trust Mr. Rooter!!

Followed up with recommendation to contact Mr. Rooter. Politeness from initial call to final. Assigned Techs Jason and Tyler arrived in time frame provided. After discussing issues, Jason provided an estimate that addressed my needed services, with final costs being as estimated. Needed services provided expediently. Very impressed with Jason's concern to make sure issues were resolved and care to clean area in which he worked. Both Jason and Tyler were courteous. I called on Labor Day because my husband was having trouble swapping out our kitchen faucet. The lady who answered the phone (sorry I forgot her name) was friendly and very helpful. She told me they had a tech in the area at another job and she would send him over as soon as he finished. She then called back to let me know he finished and would be to me within the hour. Greg arrived and did a great job removing the old faucet and installing the new one. He also helped solve a water pressure issue we had since replacing our HVAC and water tanks two years ago. It took about three hours from the time of the call looking for help to the completed job on a holiday…that is great service. Also, everyone was very friendly!

Bobby was fantastic! He was polite, professional and explained everything well. He tried to use methods to keep me costs to a minimum. He took the time needed to make repairs correctly.

Jason was the technician that serviced my home with the overflowing basement drain. Jason arrived within minutes of my phone call to Mr. Rooter. He assessed the situation and brought in his equipment to the basement. Jason was dressed clean as well as the machine was clean, and that is a plus. Jason got to the issue at hand and in no time, all issues solved. Jason was extremely polite and very courteous with an excellent and patient demeanor as he answered questions I had. If ever I need to make that call to Mr. Rooter again, I hope it will be Jason that comes out to my home. Thank you Jason for a job well done!

Jason and his assistant (sorry -forgot his name) did a great job. Diagnosed my broken sump pump and backup pump. I expected to get an estimate and have them have to return to fix it later. He said he could fix it immediately - just had to run out to get the parts. Came back in 20 minutes and did the repair in approx an hour. Explained the charges, warranties, and operating procedures. Less than 2 hours and everything fixed. Very professional and great customer service. And a great relief on my part.

My basement was backing up and needed my drains cleaned. I called and got a same day appointment. They are up front with prices and reasonable and friendly. From the office staff to the workers they did an awesome job! I appreciate receiving a call when the worker is on the way in addition to receiving a text message with the workers picture so you know who is showing up. Austin G. is the best!!!! He is professional, knowledgeable and has provided excellent customer service. He deserves a 5+ rating. If I need to call them in the future, I will request Austin G. If you are looking for a great plumbing company I highly recommend Mr. Rooter.

We've been very happy with Mr.Rooter twice now. First time was with Anthony last year who worked on our sewer line replacement, and this year Austin who replaced our water heater. Both times they were professional, upfront and efficient.

I hired Mr. Rooter to scope my sewage lines and do some plumbing repair work in my basement. Jason A. came out to do the work and he did a fantastic job! He walked me through everything he was seeing on the camera and gave me a realistic, no bs assessment of my plumbing issues without trying to sell me on any repairs I didn't need.

Jason was friendly and hilarious and walked me through everything he was checking for and what repairs he recommended. Pricing was fair and the quality of work was very professional. When he was finished with the work, he cleaned everything to the extent that there was no trace of a mess left.

Hopefully I never need them again, but I would definitely hire Mr. Rooter again!

Love all the Neighborly companies. I have used them multiple times for services at my home. Always professional, on time and in an emergency came on a Sunday to work on my plumbing no extra charge and no extra charge for having to go in the crawl space. This time I used Mr Rooter. Made my appointment and my problem was resolved by the next afternoon. THANK YOU

I would recommend Mr. Rooter plumbing. Professional, clean, fair up front pricing. Bobby R. was my plumber and he was amazing! Did a bunch of work around the house and installed a sump pump.

I was always nervous about getting a plumber over to the house, but Mr. Rooter makes it easy and simple. Bobby especially made it great. Can’t say enough how happy I am my leaky faucets are gone and I have peace of mind in my basement.

Austin Green came out this morning and quickly repaired our sink and cleared a clog that had been causing problems. He was fast, knowledgeable, and very professional throughout the entire visit. He explained the issue clearly and fixed everything efficiently. On top of that, he was friendly and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing a reliable plumber.

Mr. Rooter did an excellent job fixing plumbing issues in my home. Erlind was knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. He did a great job communicating issues and the necessary steps needed to complete the work. This is the second time I have used Mr. Rooter and the service was great both times. I highly recommend using them!
