2hrs after the HUGE tree limb hit my house I googled tree services and found Island Edge tree service LLC. They came out and without hesitation the gentleman walked me through the steps he and his crew were going to take. The job was done in a fashionable order. The clean up was amazing. Great bunch of guy!! Island Edge Tree Service is who I will refer to in the future for myself and others. 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

These guys are AWESOME!! A tornado in our area knocked down a humongous tree and they came and cleared it out in no time, while I was away for my family reunion. Thanks again for giving me a peace of mind.

Highly highly recommend this company. David and his sons did an excellent job of removing a large cottonwood tree in the back corner of yard. David was excellent at operating his equipment and safe in doing so. I appreciate his timely removal of the tree and the clean up of everything including our neighbors yard.

The company is top notch. You will not find another tree company like Island Edge Tree Service. We had a 70 year old tree removed by Dave and his crew. They did a fabulous job. Not only did they remove this tree, they ground the stump and left no mess. Nothing to clean up!!! They had to maneuver around two wires each time the took any part of the tree down. The crew did this with no problem. The knowledge and the equipment this company has, you will not find in any other tree services. A great business. We will be using them in the future and recommend them.

Island Edge came out to remove a large limb starting to encroach over our home. It was high up and is not removable by more low tech means. His equipment made removal safe, and rather quickly. He cleaned up the debris and left things as it was before he started. Also, he is one guy that answers his phone, comes out to quote a job, not like some local companies which do bother to call you back. Thanks

After Dave gave me a quote on two problem trees Dave and his sons were out the very next day to take them down on new years eve. Dave and his crew are amazing! We had Dave and his guys take a huge tree down last year. So when it was time to take down the rest, of course, we called Island Edge Tree Service. I can't say enough about the quality, their workmanship, and their professionalism that this company has. They worked together as a team and completed this job in a day. These guys removed 5 trees and ground the stump. Those trees had been their since 1940. This was by no means a small job. When I hired Island edge tree service...
I was worry free. I used him a year later and i noticed a tremendous upgrade in tools and equipment. They bulldozed my backyard perfectly flat. Also this guy has an excavator, A Bulldozer, That little machin called (kanga)... "its on steroids". That thing goes in tight spaces and can lift few times its weight. Has a man-lift for tight spaces. They have every tool a tree company needs to be professionally set. Monster chipper. My favorite thing folks... the owner (David) help me install my water pipes in my ditch so i can make a circle driveway. Those guys do not just trees folks. Price was worth it! Good luck Island edge tree service and hope you have the best customers. You deserve it.

I just had a big, messy tree removed from my property by Island Edge Tree Service. They not only did a fantastic job removing the wood but their clean up was fabulous. They were punctual, proffessional and very respectful to me and my property. The best part was their fantastic equipment. Impressive trucks, grinder and sweeper. The long arm robotics were amazing. I am one very satisfied customer.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! During the recent ice storm in late February, I had a very large tree uproot and fall across my driveway. It landed on the roof of my garage and my fence. Although there was measurable damage, it could have been much worse. I had two other very large trees that were beginning to uproot as well. They were predicting very high winds that evening and I was very concerned that these trees could also completely uproot and fall. If they had, one of them could have taken out the NW corner of home.

I contacted Island Edge Tree Service and they came out that same day. David, the owner, was extremely polite and assured me that although they were already working on another job that afternoon, they would return to my home that evening to cut down the two trees that threatened to damage my home. They worked until 11PM that evening to remove the two trees. They returned the next morning to remove the tree that had fallen during the ice storm. Additional damage to my garage and driveway could have occurred if the fallen tree had not been handled properly. Their team is obviously very experienced and have the proper equipment to address such situations.

Everyone on the crew was very polite and hard working. The team completed the job as promised and exceeded my expectations regarding the clean up of my property. David had also documented the damage and the removal process of the fallen tree so that I could submit the photographs to my insurance company for reimbursement. David even followed up with me a couple of weeks later to inquire as to whether the documentation was sufficient for the insurance company to cover the tree’s removal.

I would highly recommend this tree service. I found them to be a very honest and hard working team.

Dave is a very nice Highly skilled Tree cutter and tree service. Its a Family business that treats You like family. Once you hire Island edge you are amazed by how the job is done and how the team works. I was totally happy with whole process. Would surely hire Island edge again. Fast Friendly and efficient

Island Edge cut two maple trees at my home. Work wise I was very impressed with their tools. It is a family business and the owner was quick to respond and had good availability to get the job done quickly. He showed up on time and with his crew (sons?) in tow. Both large trees were cut no problem in 4 hours. What impressed me the most was the clean up. His sons were very thorough and used a leaf blower to make sure all the random sticks from the lawn were clear and swept up. This is the kind of good experience you want when you are paying $5.5k to get trees cut. The the only negative would be the price. It was almost 2k more expensive than another tree cutting company in Carleton,MI for the same work. I needed the trees cut ASAP and like I said they did a great job but the price really hurt.

Finally, they found a raccoon nest in one of the trees and figure out a way to save them so the mom could get them that night. I thought that was impressive all on its own.

August 24, 2023 strong storms hit the downriver area, causing severe damage to many homes, etc. I had very large branch landed on my roof and another large branch was hanging over my house. I called several tree service and Island Edge tree service was only one that took my call. Dave came out gave me an estimate and set up a date to do the job. He and his crew showed up as promised. Did the removal quickly, safely and did a great clean up. I highly recommend them.

We had a 70 ft tree downed by the storms and no electricity! Dave came right out, gave us an estimate and got the job done! He and his staff did an amazing job and cleaned up everything! The yard looks better than before the storms! I highly recommend Island Edge tree service. We will definitely use them again!

This was a great, great tree removal experience! I called on a Friday for a quote, received it back on Monday, was really happy with Dave's plan and attention to detail, and by Wednesday my trees, stumps, and roots were gone. Very happy with the pricing and Dave and his team had the best equipment available and did an incredible job. They didn't leave until everything was perfect and we were completely happy with everything. Great great choice for a downriver tree removal!

Highest praise! David took my call the first time I called and was responsive the whole rest of the process. He got my sick tree taken care of very quickly, 3 days from the initial contact (another company was booking 4 weeks out!), which was a huge stress relief. They were in and out in 20 minutes, cleaned up well, and charged a fair price. He seems like a good soul too, not that it should matter but it’s reassuring dealing with people who you feel you can trust. All around, just very professional and impressive! I can go into the weekend not burdened with stress about this tree, thank you David!!! I highly recommend! p.s. if you’re thinking about taking a tree down yourself, it is not worth it! I did one a few years ago and it’s so much work and getting the stump out is impossible, then you have to haul all of it away. It’s a nightmare. Hire this company!

Amazed at the skill Dave and his crew have in Tree removal, he has a crane that sat in my driveway and reached over the house into the back yard to remove a maple with 17 foot diamater, while he stood in the driveway with the remote control. Excellent crew Dave has, very skilled with the equipment, and fantastic with clean up. He will always be the first to call and first I would recomend. I called him on monday for a estimate and he showed up the same day to give me a estimate, and three days later the tree was removed. Excellent Price, Excellent Workmanship, Excellent Bussinessman.

Between me and my neighbors, we had three large Silver Maple trees that had become dangerous. We called Dave for a quote, and he came out the very next day after we confirmed. His crew took down all three trees across both properties in a single day - it was a spectacle to watch! They worked hard from morning to evening and still made sure everything was cleaned up perfectly afterward. Highly recommend for anyone needing tree removal done right!
