My mother contacted this company about a home in Trenton and a home in New Boston. The man was rude and spoke over her. She did what many people do and voiced her opinion on google review. Nothing horrible just explaining her experience which is what google reviews are used for.... not even an hour after the review was posted he called and harassed her leaving voicemails saying she’s a evil person and a lot of other nasty things. Sent nasty text messages to her phone. When I contacted him to tell him to stop harassing my mother he flew off the handle. None of that is necessary... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

These guys were phenomenal and did exactly what was requested -- and then some! Cleaned up after themselves and were EXTREMELY respectful of our home and just were all around pleasant people. Will definitely use again in one of my rental properties!

Our AC went out and we needed repair ASAP. They came out same day within hours of our call. Got it fixed quickly at a good price! Couldn’t be happier when it’s going to be a 90 degree week!! Thanks for such a quick and efficient response!!

Super diligent and friendly. Had a leak in my basement, call the number, they were there within an hour. I was pleased to find out that they charge by the job and not by the hour. I was given a clear and extremely reasonable quote. They took their time to explain thoroughly. Did the job great. I am very happy with this company. Will defiantly recommend them.

Called affordable on a Friday night about our water heater not heating water. He answered even though it was around 7pm and advise he could help, came out the following day Saturday to replace and haul away the old tank. Also replaced undersized and outdated venting. Definitely recommend.

My AC went down during a 90+ degree day. I called around and most places couldn't come to check my unit out until after a couple of business days. Affordable heating and cooling was able to check my unit the same day. They arrived right when they said they would and quickly identified the issue. My capicitor had to be replaced and they had the part in stock. The technician quickly replaced the capicitor then did some troubleshooting and testing to validate everything was functioning correctly.

Very satisfied with the service and the technician was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend this company if you ever have any issues in which they provide a service.

Our furnace went out on a Saturday night. I searched Google and no one wanted to come out until Monday. However Mike said he would make an extra stop after his last call to fit us in. I really appreciated everything he did. I strongly recommend.

I originally was serviced by another company and was very disappointed with their service. I have to admit I called Mike accidently thinking he was the first company that had serviced our furnace. The company names were very similar. He assured me in a very calm manner that he had no technician in my area , but said he could be at our home in fifteen minutes. Once here, he saw that the previous tech left our furnace in complete disarray. The previous company took parts from my unit to test and returned half of them and lost the rest. As you can imagine I was extremely upset as my 7 month old grandson lives in the home. He checked out the furnace and was very confident he would be able to help. He waited with us while the original technician was returning parts. (Lesson learned, never let them take parts) The original tech even went as far as to say we had sabotaged our own furnace. REALLY! Mike spoke up and stated that he did not think we would sabotage our own unit and what would we gain from doing this? (This was the same person that quoted me $1200 for the same part Mike installed for about $200.) After an awful experience to say the least with the first serviceman, Mike really went above and beyond to meet our needs and budget. It was after 5pm so Mike assured us he could get us the parts we needed and have it repaired the next morning. He was true to his word and arrived as promised. He even had to return a day later to replace the ignitor and did not even charge us for the second trip. Mike is someone who is calm, reliable, dependable and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone! I promise you won't regret it. It was the first time I was happy to call a wrong number. Furnace was up and running in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you Mike!

My furnace had stopped working, I called & they could not make till the next day. Alex talked me through what might be the issue & he helped me get the furnace working. So helpful, professional and such a great experience! I will use this company for all my heating /cooling needs!!

My heat wasn't coming on, they said they could have someone out to me in a few hours. He showed up within a hour and fixed the problem immediately. I had heat in under a hour and the price was cheap (I called around and they had the cheapest price). Very happy with my experience with this company. Definitely will be calling them back if I ever need more work done.

Called late Tuesday. I told them I had no heat. They asked if I wanted someone that day or first thing in the morning. It wasn’t real cold so I said the morning was fine. They called me first thing in the morning. They came right over and fix my furnace. The price was excellent. They both were wearing covid mask when they showed up. Very pleased.

We have an older furnace that was not starting all the time. A technician was out the same day, and installed a new blower motor. The furnace is now quieter than ever and running great. Considering the age of the furnace and part availability, the price was very reasonable. Glad we called Affordable

Wanted to write a review while the work was fresh. I had a hot water heater fail 2 days ago and Affordable quoted me a much better price than I was getting elsewhere. They got out here in 2 days and did prompt work to get me up and running again. Would highly recommend and I'll definitely be calling on them again should the need arise.

Had a great experience with this company, would highly recommend. I called at 11am on a Friday and had a new hot water heater completely installed before 5pm the same day. They were friendly, quick and efficient. Will definitely be using this company again for any HVAC or plumbing issues.

I had issues with my furnace but it was rather old and just needed to be replaced. Affordable was able to come back out the next day and completed the install for what seemed like a reasonable price.
Edit: Three years after install, they came back out to provide consultation on an issue I was having with my humidifier for no charge.

This contractor is so different than any other contractor I've worked with in the past. I am so incredibly impressed with their respectfulness and thoroughness in their work! They have won a customer.

As an engineer, I tend to ask a lot of questions, I feel like most contractors rush through them or dismiss them. I felt like mine were answered with care. He had his own questions about my current setup, which also stood out - it makes a difference when a contractor tries to fully understand a situation instead of going into a job blindly.
I felt valued throughout every single interaction with Affordable Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing.

I was repacking a leaking shutoff valve when they still had the water off, I started late, and actually wasn't ready for them to turn the water back on. Instead of them being impatient, they gave me advice and help, one gentleman on the job watched me as I did it - never a hint of rudeness.

They left everything in better condition than in which they found it.

As a note:
I had them replace my water heater. Their price was right around the average cost ($875 for a 40 gallon, gas water heater). While they were there, they also replaced two shutoff valves (Gas and Water) going to the water heater, and charged me only cost of the valves (only with my consent, and not pressuring me at all).

My only concern is that I can't find much on the brand of water heater they used, but since I am impressed with them in every other regard, I am sure they would only use brands that have proven reliability to them.

I discovered that my furnace had stopped working and I'd known it was well beyond it's usefulness and asked Mike to just give me an estimate of replacement cost. He was very open and honest about what I needed. Alerting me that my previous unit was unnecessarily large for my house and laid out my options. We decided on the best unit and he immediatley began to remove the old furnace and John joined to help get the new unit installed by the next day. Fast work, clean, detailed and concerned about the comfort of my family. I would highly recommend this company, 100%! Fantastic job!

Great experience! Consultation on the phone prior to the appointment was clear, to the point, and honest. He kept me updated via text about his timeline prior to arriving to appointment. He answered all my questions thoroughly and made sure I was informed about equipment and hardware. He was up front about hardware upgrades needed to stay up to code as well as additional pricing and asked for approval prior to install. Overall, very pleased and will call again if we have plumbing, heating, or AC needs.

First Class Service. Called Affordable to troubleshoot a toilet issue, which, when you only have one bathroom, feels urgent. Offered to make time to come out same day. Made an appointment for the following day. Called when he said he was going to call, at the appointed time.
Was very, very considerate with regard to my house, my floors, and keeping a clean work area.
Diagnosed the problem- required a new toilet. Returned to install for me same day, within almost an hour.
Very, very professional. Left my house as clean as he found it.
Very fair pricing.

**It was exceptional to note that he had a female technician with him, which, because I happened to be home alone at the appointment time, put me at great ease.
Both he, and the female technician were professional, punctual, gracious, and tidy.

I contacted Affordable at 6:00 on a Friday. My parents hot water tank had gone out. Mike was very pleasant and professional from the beginning. He was able to be there at 9:30 Saturday morning. He did a great job of installing and the price was great as well!
