A great company to work with! Responsive, fair pricing, friendly, take pride in their work, etc. The team has all the equipment needed to get the job done. They created a beautiful space out of a very overgrown landscaping. This is the second time hiring them and would definitely recommend.

Brad took time out of his Saturday to help rescue a cat from a tree. After many adjustments and a few hours he was able to get this kitty to safety. If you ever come across this situation and in the Metro Detroit area, I would suggest giving them a call. We appreciate the difficult rescue mission!

(FYI sadly the fire department "no longer handles" those things and animal shelters/rescues "have no contacts")

Tree service of Troy is AWESOME. They responded to my request for a quote promptly, called back when they said they would, and showed up right on time to complete the work. You wouldn’t think this would be so hard, but based my other dealings with some contractors, it’s apparently very difficult.
Again, I highly recommend them. The work was quality and they did what I asked and cleaned up the mess as well. The crew was very respectful of our, and our neighbors property. I will use them for all my tree work in the future for sure.

Got the number for this company from a truck I saw on the road. The price was fair for removal of huge pine, topping off Arbs, and trimming two maples. The crew was friendly and took care of any issues after communication, including replacement of portion of chain link fence that got caught in the stump grinder. Fixed on site, that day. Payment by check saved us a few bucks. Office staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Unbelievable great customer service. It started with Brad sales person that came to my house to provide a quote. He was on time, polite, knowledgeable and walked me through the full job. I called several companies and selected this one based on customer service and price. I was so impressed with the job, I referred the company to my son. He had an even larger job for Brad. Brad walked their property and collaborated with my son and his wife on the work and made solid recommendations on things they should act on to avoid issues in the future. The kids chose this company as well…. Again based on both price and customer service. Post their bigger job the guys that performed the work cleaned up really well.

First time needing to call someone for work on a tree, and am I ever glad I went with Tree Service of Troy. While everyone I got to work with was fantastic, I mostly worked with Brad. Once he checked out our trees, not only was he able to identify our needs but he also educated us on what to look for when diagnosing a tree's issues. Despite needing to remove a larger tree with a close proximity to our house, Troy brought it down in just a few hours without any issues at all. What made it all even better was they beat other quotes with got for the same service. We will certainly need more work in the future for our yard, and I certainly plan to call them again. I fully recommend Tree Service of Troy.

I had the EXTREME PLEASURE of working with Tree Service of Troy. My husband & I bought a home which needed tree trimming, removal of invasive Buckbrush & grinding of several old stumps. The price was competitive but most important was the fantastic job from Max, Isaac & Doug! This knowledgeable crew works phenomenally together. In a very tight space, they trimmed only necessary limbs & cleared my home / deck as well as my neighbors home / garage. Clean up was fantastic and their customer service was above & beyond. Max even offered help with great ideas for future landscaping! I will ONLY USE TREE SERVICE OF TROY for my future needs & encourage you to use them as well. I believe you won't regret it.

Last week, we had Tree Service of Troy come out and remove our very large, 80+ year old Elm Tree. The whole team did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were careful with every piece that they removed. It was clear that they were experienced with how well the crane operator and the cutter worked together, and they removed everything right away via their grinder.

My only rub was that it seemed like the office team and the tree crew weren’t on the same page with a few things. I had shared a few minor things with the owner and office team that the tree crew was unaware of when they arrived. I also had a tough time getting ahold of the owner/office staff ahead of the job - minor communication challenges.

Nonetheless, I was very happy with the result of the job and would highly recommend others to use their services. Pictures show the before, during, and after results.

John, Max, Paul and the rest of the crew were top notch start to finish. 100% prepared with a plan and focused on the execution as well as tending to a somewhat nervous homeowner. I had a very large elm tree taken down and several trees were pruned. A crew of 4 came and worked efficiently to remove it and grind down the stump. What I appreciated most was the team work. The communication was good and everyone took safety seriously. Very pleasant experience overall.

Brad was very knowledgeable regarding the tree I needed trimmed and gave me a very good quote. The team has all the latest equipment including a bucket lift that looked like a big spider with legs for stability. They used the bucket to go way up into the tree, so they didn't have to climb the tree, just move the bucket around. This is so much safer than climbing the tree, especially in the winter. The team was very friendly and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Tree Service of Troy.

The team did a great job from start to finish. Brad was great with our quote and explaining what needed to be done and his expert opinion. Didn’t they to upsell and was very honest. The crew was very professional. They took down our massive tree with care and caution and did a thorough clean up after. Very pleased.

Very pleased with my experience with Tree Service of Troy. Brad was great to work with. He did a thorough inspection and provided different options for removing a large, dying tree in the backyard with limited access. He was great at communicating and responding promptly, and was also extremely patient as we had to get approval for using a neighbor's driveway to access the tree. The removal was promptly scheduled, and the tree was down in just a few hours on removal day. The crew leader Paul and his team did a fantastic job of bringing the tree down and performing cleanup. Excellent service!

We recently hired Tree Service of Troy to remove a massive silver maple from our backyard. Max, Doug, and the rest of their team was fantastic from start to finish. They were very efficient in both scheduling us and completing the work. They were careful not to damage the many nearby obstacles (our house, garage, fences, power lines, etc.) and did a nice job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future!

They were the first to come over and quote my project during the holidays, offered a first-time customer discount, were the lowest of 4 bids I received, arrived on time and completed the work without issue. The foreman was especially courteous, worked directly with our neighbor for access, and seemed genuinely excited about his job which was refreshing. Overall great experience and very satisfied customer. I'll for sure call them for future needs.

Tree Services of Troy were excellent! They responded quickly when called. Wrote up a quote which we consider very reasonable. Part of our request was two very large trees. One was over hanging the house and we were afraid the house could be damaged. They came on time. The crew got right to work and got the job done in only a few hours. Did an excellent job and a great clean up job. Well worth the money. Will recommend them to friends and our home insurance.
