I chose Vikings, LLC to replace my home roof as well as my garage roof. They are just about finished and it has only taken 3 days. They are really a dedicated and hard working team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of roofing work. I’m so glad I chose them to do the work. Very satisfied customer 💕

We had Mike Hill with Viking come out and inspect our home for hail damage. After the inspection he showed us lots of pictures of the damages (didn't just tell us we needed a new roof) we've never filed a claim before so he walked us through the steps of filing the claim. And then he coordinated with our insurance adjuster to meet him on our property for a final inspection. After getting everything approved that he said he would we decided to use Mike and Viking contractors for our repairs. The roofing crew that did the roof was very respectful and cleaned up throughout the whole project. Would recommend them to anyone.

I wanted to share our experience with your awesome company. I will start out by saying that we worked with Andrew Dulz. He was outstanding and went above and beyond for us. Andrew is extremely professional, prompt and has excellent customer service and made us feel that he truly cared. He is a super nice guy!
Thank you so much Andrew for all your hard work and follow through! The roof looks awesome and we couldn’t be happier!
Every worker that we came in contact with was very professional and kind. The work was done quickly and efficiently and everything was cleaned up to perfection! Thank you so much for a job well done! We will highly recommend Viking Contractors, you are the best!

They were super nice and communicative up until they got our first insurance payment to them. Then we had to hound them for an installation date. We finally got a date and the roof has now been repaired. However, they made a mess, left NAILS in the yard, and left a trailer blocking our driveway with flat tires. The trailer was picked up the next day.
We were supposed to have the gutters installed the day after the roof, but after multiple reach outs, we have yet to hear back.
Oh, AND they put a whole in our ceiling...

Requested final payment before the job was even finished. Crew came back out to complete what I thought was the last portion of the job. They did not replace the window cladding at my back door, but I just wanted to be done with them.

After they were “done” I spent the next couple of weeks finding nails, shingles, and aluminum cuttings all over the yard. No biggie. I took care of it. Today, I find that they didn’t have enough material to do the gutter covers and left a portion incomplete, so I’m leaving a review. Definitely a storm chasing company.

The inspector from Vikings Contractors was very professional, kind, thorough and knowledgeable! He answered all our questions and made the first part of our process seamless. We have damages from a hail and wind storm so we are now waiting on the next step of the process for our insurance company to review! What a great experience so far.

They put a hole through my ceiling when replacing my roof, scattered nails in the street and alley for everyone in my neighborhood to drive over, and spray painted my sidewalk when painting my roof vents. I had leaks in my roof following the job, which took at least two tries to fix. I now have discolored and peeling spot on my ceiling. Worst of all, communication was impossible. I had to call them multiple times to address any of these issues. Their go to is to transfer you to the owner's voicemail. The job still isn't finished, months later. The only pro was their ability to work with the insurance company. That they handled well.

Viking Contractors seemed great right away, and had I written this after the first few times making contact with them I would have likely given them 5 stars.
One of their employees showed up at my house "by accident" after a hail storm. I directed him to the correct house and asked him if he would come back and take a look after he was done. When he came back he determined the roof and siding had damage. We started work on the roof. Another contractor came out to show us our options. She was very professional. It went quickly and we were satisfied with the work. They did bring a dumpster without good communication and blocked one of our cars in the garage.
Next came the siding, and this is when the experience quickly went downhill... After quite a bit of reaching out to the original employee and hearing nothing we contacted the second person (who had previously visited regarding shingle selection). A little more back and forth and we finally got someone out to grab a siding sample. They took the piece of siding (and needed to use my tools for this). After that we have repeatedly contacted both employees and have not heard back from either. It has been months.
In the end Viking did a good enough job on the roof (although we did have to have them come back and fix a couple shingles that were lifting), they basically stole a piece of our siding, and then totally ghosted us. They did half of the project and then stopped answering or returning calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We will move forward with a different company, but will have to wait till spring to get the job finished.

Mike had been to my home to assess hail damage and came again when my insurance adjuster did his assessment. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. After a delay on my part, we had a meeting set to choose shingles and set a date. The meeting time/date came and went 4 days ago. I still have not heard from Mike. I was assured in a call to Viking Contractors today that Mike is well and working. I can understand if my job is too small for them to prioritize it at this time of the year, but believe I should have been notified if the appointment was not going to be kept. I'm very disappointed that I need to start the process again.

Had a horrible time with this company from the beginning. They did not do the work on the day scheduled. Took longer than what was promised to complete roof. We considered getting siding done and after 6+ months of waiting to hear back on the siding, we were told they forgot about us. I would not recommend anyone use this company for roofing or other services. The price they charge is not worth the quality of work or the level of customer service they provide.

Terrible company, not to be trusted!! DO NOT USE THEM OR SCHEDULE THEM!! Contacting people at 7 in the morning, unsolicited, then when asked to remove the information and do not make contact, harasses them further. Any company willing to do such unscrupulous behavior is not a company you ever want to have around. They are NOT local either. ALSO: BEWARE - the majority of 5 star reviews for this company are fake. They purchased reviews on both Google and Facebook. When you run software to remove the false reviews this company has a 1.2 star rating, that tells you all you need to know. Fraudulent behavior, there are plenty of local businesses that do a much better job, who are honest and treat people better.

Some of it was kind of weird communication about some payments and stuff like that. Room for improvement. There was also miscommunication about removing gutter guards —-but what’s important is that they righted and errors promptly upon request and they did an awesome job overall. So I would use them again and I would still recommend them to people. You should use them. They do really good work from what I can tell.

Viking replaced our 25-year-old shingle roof and metal gutters after storm and wind damage. They clearly explained every step along the way, and worked directly with our insurance company to ensure their work was covered. Installation was professional and quick, and they responded quickly on a couple of minor followup items. It's been six months and we've had no issues at all. I highly recommend them!

Where do I start? We were solicited to work with this company on a new roof. We signed a contract with them in August 2022. The work was completed with a few hiccups (they never came to pick up nails, we had to call multiple times to get them to come pick up their left over materials, the project manager never checked in with us upon the completion of the job, they broke a gutter). They didn't follow up to get the final payment from us for over a year. When we made the agreed upon final payment they came back with an additional payment request for thousands more dollars for additional work they claimed they did. However, when we submitted this request to our insurance underwriter, they were unable to prove they had done this additional work on the roof. They submitted photos to our insurance agency, some of which were of our home, but the photos that were supposed to prove the additional work were not of our home. They submitted photos of a house that looked similar to ours but clearly was not. The additional claim was denied by our insurance company. After fighting with them for months they sent us a letter threatening to sue us. Our insurance underwriter was happy to pay for the work done on our house, but not work that they couldn't prove was done, and for which they were submitted fraudulent photos. You should definitely not work with Viking Contractors.

We reached out to Viking contractors LLC after hail damage to our roof (we live west of the Twin Cities).
We met with project manager Luis who was very professional and polite. He educated us on the process, helped loop in our insurance, and was quick to respond anytime I have any questions.
The roofers were very skilled and you can tell they have a lot of experience. They also kept up great communication. Finished project looks amazing. They were in and out in four days without any damage to the surrounding area.
We will be quick to go back to them and would refer them to any friends or family.

My roof was inspected in May, 2022. Installed in July. Gutters were done in October. I had to sign a contract for them to do my roof in order for them to share the hail inspection results with my insurance company.
I had a choice of three roof shingles. in three colors. They look low quality. They are .2 the thickness of my old shingles.
The sales rep did not communicate with the roofers. The supervisor didn’t show up until the roof was on. I complained about rainwater pouring onto my front porch and he said the gutters would fix it. Three months later gutter covers were installed and all the problems were worse as winter hit.
Massive roof fail!! Water intrusion in the house and garage. Two years trying to get them to make the repairs, honor warranty and their insurance to pay.
I’ve hired a lot of people for repairs in my life. I would never endorse this company to anyone.
    We are headed to court.
    Worst company, horrible people.
Zero stars are not an option. Do NOT use this company!!

Terrible terrible terrible communication until it’s time to get their check. Then they call literally every single day to see if the insurance check is received. They also promise services that can’t even get done and lie about the reasoning. I had to hound them to schedule my roof because the guy FORGOT to finish the paperwork. Then he lied and said he did and it was the office. And don’t expect any promised follow ups unless you call. They will not call you back. They will just keep apologizing when you call back and complain . I do not recommend!!

Excellent communication throughout the project. Good job cleaning up after project close, even had the courtesy to repair a couple storm screens that became slightly damaged during roof replacement. Highly professional team that knows what they’re doing on the trade and business side of things. 100% recommend!

Viking Contractors LLC I had storm damage on my roof and had soffit replaced.
After countless delay from Viking Contractors to replace the soffit that Viking Contractors installed the wrong color and the wrong profile.
After Contacted Viking Contractors many times I asked to talk to the manager, I was give to one of the owners Jake was his name. After no return phone calls. I received a text " We will get this fascia and soffit fixed today."
I received a call from my neighbor stating that a work truck was in my driveway no notice from Viking Contractors. That they were coming to my house.
When I got home that night from work Viking Contractors didn't put the right profile on my house they came out and painted it but didn't match the color.
This has been delaying the completion of my other project on my house.
After calling Jake to find out when they are going to be putting up the right color and profile soffit.
I receive no call back, from Jake a week later I receive a text stating "We will be unable to complete any more work for you. "
I don't advise you doing business with Viking Contractors LLC. They don't operate as the other top roofing companies

Had a roof done 2 weeks ago and they have not come back to finish. Bent my rain gutter, did not finish roof, missing drip edge, facia, did not put gutter guard back on. Also had appointment, they had to call and cancel and reschedule. If this this the job you want to pay for then go with these guys. Have been ghosted for 2 weeks now.

Viking installed a new roof in the fall of 2022 after about 6 months of back and forth. The install crew showed up an unannounced day late, and the team proceeded to leave a pile of garbage on the front lawn for over a month until persistent begging finally resulted in a reluctant pickup.

20 months later we have a clearly identified water leak in the roof. Viking sent a crew to fix (under warranty) and was not surprisingly unable to find the issue, whereas 12 hours earlier a reputable area roofer quickly identified the source of leakage (poor workmanship around a vent) and quickly provided a plan to address.

Overall we received terrible communication after the “sale”, poor workmanship and general disappointment in a $20K project. Classic storm chaser that provides great upfront sales material, poor workmanship and trash communication.
