Jeff Finke did an excellent job for us. He arrived on time, wore shoe covers and politely introduced himself. He very efficiently reconnected our humidifier which the furnace installers failed to do. He improved the performance by installing a digital humidifier control. He was finished in only an hour. Great job Jeff! Thank you. Pictures attached.

Jared is a reason we keep coming back. He installed our boiler a couple of years ago, and when it suddenly quit on Thanksgiving Day of all days, he didn’t hesitate; he was out and about and still made the time to swing over and get us back up and running. That kind of reliability is rare. He knows the system inside and out, and he had the issue diagnosed and fixed fast. Friendly, steady, and absolutely dependable. Couldn’t ask for better service. I booked an appointment online last night and then called this morning and told Rebecca that my issue was time sensitive. Charlies was out in 90 minutes and was extremely helpful and had the issue resolved in 45 minutes. Very appreciative of this great company.

In no time Charlie had the old water heater out, new one installed and did an excellent job overall. Piping looks nice and neat. We'll not hesitate to call him for any future Plumbing services.

Our furnace was automatically shutting down due to actuation of an internal safety switch. Ali T arrived at our house for same day service. After looking at the malfunction code and asking a few pertinent questions, it took Ali about 5 minutes to analyze and identify the problem. Then he took the time to illustrate and explain why the situation was happening. He was on time, very knowledgeable, respectful of my house and, most importantly, did not try to oversell me on anything. I give him five stars and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Had to replace our water heater and Charlie, the plumber, was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. I asked quite a lot of questions and he answered very thoroughly. I am very glad we chose Hurlburt due to how quickly we were able to get our issue resolved.

The technition was fine. He mentioned to leave a message for his mgr. So this is for him. You charge Over a thousand $ labor per hour. And you expect me to tell everyone how wonderful you guys are. What planet are you from. It’s not rocket science to find out what the parts cost with the model, SN of the furnace. 45 minutes for the job. That’s over a thousand $$. How do you sleep at night.

Jordan did an excellent job today of replacing an outlet, finishing the rest of the electrical inspection, and giving an estimate to upgrade the electrical panel. Jordan is a wealth of knowledge about electrical work, and is happy to answer questions about how to individualized work done on an older house. He goes above and beyond to make suggestions for how to make things better for the homeowner. That is the main reason that I hire Hurlburt. Their specialists are great, and you can trust that the work will be done right. They help you be proactive about needed repairs rather than waiting until something breaks down. Gary came out to tune up our 8 year old furnace. He was very professional and was done in about 45 minutes. He let me know that everything was working properly but that I might have to replace the igniter in the near future. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with an HVAC company after getting the run around by the major companies like Bonfe who were extremely over priced and didn’t come close to the level of service I received with Hulburt. I very much appreciated their technician Roger, sales manager Mike, the two installers and the customer service staff. Highly recommended. Fair prices with high levels of service.

Chase is very professional and personal. He did a great job in explaining what needed to be done to correct the issue. He left to get all the parts and returned and completed the repair in a timely matter. It took a little longer than expected because he had to correct some issues that were left from the previous contractor( original build sloppiness). I would definitely recommend.

Diego was a pleasure to have at our home. He came twice. In his first visit he diagnosed what we needed by communicating with our electric company. Then he made sure that the office knew not to bill us for that trip as he would be back when the electric company delivered their meter. Diego was knowledgeable, efficient and a great communicator. He did a great job explaining the process and his work. I enjoyed meeting him!

Tim was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I had complete confidence in him, especially when he explained in detail what needed to be done. He also provided very helpful warranty information, which hasn't been a common experience for me with other contractors. I was VERY PLEASED with the service and will certainly call on Hurlburt again. Scott came out right away in the morning, apparently I was his first appointment. He looked at my problem and talked me out of what I was asking for. I had self diagnosed it, but I must have over diagnosed it because he showed me what the actual problem was. It still cost a bit, but I was prepared to pay “plumber” labor costs. People tend to forget this. I mentioned what I could pay for what he was replacing at a local retailer, which he agreed with but then mentioned labor. If I could do it myself how much would I charge myself? I certainly wouldn’t work for free, and when thinking about it the price he had quoted me was right in line with it.

My mother has a “favorite” plumber that she contacts all the time and has paid to come to my place to work on my plumbing. What I’ve noticed EVERY TIME was he would find other things that needed fixing too and would talk her into doing these other things too, ending up spending all day at her place (and mine) fixing unrelated things. Sure, the work was good, but it was always a huge bill compared to what needed fixing. In my opinion he caused what turned into my problem though.

I said “enough,” it was time to try someone else. I see lots of advertisements on TV for plumbers and have used some in the past, noting how expensive they were. So in my Google search I came across Hulburt Heating & Plumbing. I’ve never seen advertisements from them. I’m sure they advertise, but not on the expensive television. Plus they’re family owned. This was a plus as many of those advertisers are franchises and again have high fees to pay and pass those fees onto the consumer. Not Hulburt as far as I can tell. Scott came out, fixed my problem, didn’t say “I noticed this other thing that needs fixing,” no. He only fixed what I needed.
He gave me 5 star service at a decent price. He was kind, considerate and professional. He noticed some posters on my walls and made a personal comment about them, making the whole experience much more pleasant than the gruff plumber stereotype.

Straightforward folks, outstanding service. Jarrod S. was very timely, thorough and attentive when we were having an issue with our water heater. He quickly figured out what was wrong and fixed it, and was honest with us about how much time left we can likely get out of our older unit before it needs replacing. Will definitely give them a call the next time we need help again!

Really appreciate Jared educating me on options for fixing a leak, and looking ahead at what changes could be made when we have to replace the water softener 5 years down the road. He was very clear in various levels of quality for different hardware with upsides and downsides for each. In the end, we got a quality job with a moderate price that met our expectations. Charlie P came to diagnose my low water pressure from one of my spigots and we ended up putting in a new faucet which was the quickest most cost effective solution. Everything was done in a timely manner. It looks absolutely wonderful and I'm very pleased! He was very polite and professional. In fact I will Hurlburt again for other services that we need and request him.

We did a little shopping around for a water heater. In talking to companies, Hurlburt was the only one that it was their best price and didn't come back and try to drop it when they found out I had other quotes. I don't mess with companies that don't give me their best quote first. It doesn't build trust in my opinion. To me the difference in cost wasn't the issue. All quotes were in a reasonable range. When Tony C showed up to install the water heater he was professional and efficient. The installation looks good and I hope it lasts longer than the last one did. I would recommend at least getting one of your quotes from Hurlburt.
