I recently had a home inspection done where I couldn’t be there in person but my Aunt attended in person , but thanks to Mitchell’s suggestion, we were able to do the inspection via FaceTime. I had a great experience with Marigold Home Inspections. Anthony was extremely thorough and explained every detail, even small issues like two roof shingles with minor damage. The details in the report gave me a peace of mind with knowing possible future repairs and maintenance to plan for. I’m very thankful I was able to schedule my inspection the day I signed the purchase agreement and I was able to get the inspection the very next day! The inspector was thorough and talked about the house in clear and easy to understand terms. This is not my first home purchase and I have had both mediocre and good inspections done. Marigold did a really good job and I would contract them again in a future home purchase.

There was helpful communication all the way through the process, the price was reasonable, and the reports were explained thoroughly during the walk through and included in the written report. I've done a fair share of inspections with Marigold and I've never had such a fun experience until this last inspection. My inspector was Kelly and she made everything very smooth, fun and easy. She was very thorough, friendly and made sure we understood everything. I rarely do reviews but I thought she definitely deserved this one!

Best investment we made during the home buying process.

Hiring Kyle was the best decision we made. He found major defects in the roof and foundation that weren't obvious to the naked eye. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to address these problems before closing (and saved thousands in future repairs). Don't hesitate to book him.

We hired Marigold because our son and his wife had used them twice and we/they…due to circumstances I attended the walkthrough…were very impressed with their service. The process to hire them was very easy.
Our inspector was Tony. He was friendly, thorough, detailed, patient with my questions, and very knowledgeable! We did not feel rushed at all. The grading of the different recommendations was very helpful so we knew what were the biggest problems.
I will definitely be sharing the name Marigold with anyone wanting inspection services! The cost of their service is a very small percentage of the price of the property you are looking to purchase.

My Wife and I are so thankful for the Marigold team. They were able to work around scheduling and complete the inspection the next day - they even worked after hours to help us set it up so we could get it done before Christmas. Stephen Hines was our inspector and was great. We don’t know much about homes, and Stephen walked us through and explained every inch of our future home. The knowledge, expertise, and friendliness was a giant weight off our shoulders in a very stressful and fast moving time!

Very helpful, only downside was I was outside of the service area for a tree inspection but they helped me find someone who could help with it and the house inspection was very informative and they took time to fully explain everything. The report was made and sent to me very quickly (same day) and was very in-depth

The team at Marigold was phenomenal for my home inspection and couldn't have gone better. They were on-time, super friendly, explained everything in the house that was inspected! The thoroughness of their inspection and quality of work was incredibly relieving to see. They even took the time to explain various systems in the house and how they operate even though they functioned perfectly and wasn't needed!! Dan was great. He took time to explain everything in his report and answer our many, many questions even if out of scope of the actual inspection. Dan was very knowledgeable and thorough. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him and Marigold to others.

I’m so happy we chose Marigold for our home inspection! Walker did an amazing job walking us through all the aspects of our new home and explaining all the details well for us as first time buyers. He was very logical in his approach of things we should look at asap, easy items we can take care of when we move in and things that aren’t a concern, but would be nice to fix in the future. I would recommend Marigold to all buyers!!

I paid for both the standard inspection and the sewer scope from Marigold. The inspection was excellent — thorough, well-documented, and patiently explained. The sewer scope portion, however, was a bad experience. I was told the day it was scheduled that due to their inability to access it through normal methods, I'd have to pay an extra $200 for a toilet pull. While this is understandable in itself, it was not disclosed in any of the documents I signed. Then, because of some nuance with the pipe arrangement, they were ultimately unable to complete the scope, yet I received no money back. Frustrating overall experience and I would not work with them again as a result.

Edit: Marigold reached out to me and refunded the sewer scope portion. Bumping review to 4 stars.

Dan and Aaron were great! They were very thorough, detailed and methodical in their home inspection process. They explained things clearly
to us during the walk through at the end. The written report was nicely put together and clear. It was helpful to have pictures in the report for clarity. The initial scheduling process was easy, timely and seamless.
I would highly recommend.
