Dennis was punctual, honest and knowledgeable. He did not push new HVAC system, like other companies, and serviced what I currently have (AC Unit from ‘98). He told me to hold off a couple years until the new standard is out. I would definitely give him a call to service my HVAC system in the future.

Dennis at Blizzard Heating and AC is truly fantastic! He’s a consummate professional who delivers top-notch service. In the past, we used Hero, and while they were good, they often pushed us to invest in a new system, citing outdated components or unavailable parts. Dennis, on the other hand, is refreshingly honest. He focuses on getting your current system running optimally and always offers the fairest and most cost-effective repair options.

If you want to save money and improve your HVAC system, do yourself a favor and call Dennis. His integrity and expertise are unmatched. Highly recommend!

Our routine furnace tune-up with another company took an unexpected turn when they abruptly shut it off, claiming it was “too dangerous to run” on a cold winter day. Without conducting all the necessary tests, they pressured us to replace the entire furnace. We were shocked and frustrated—how could our furnace go from being “in great condition” last winter to “dangerous” now, without a clear explanation?

Thankfully, Dennis was able to come the same day upon my urgent request for a second opinion. He was knowledgeable, honest, and thorough in his evaluation. It turned out that we didn’t need a new furnace—at least not right now. His expertise and integrity gave us peace of mind, and we will definitely be using this company for future HVAC maintenance and repairs.

While I admire Dennis’s work ethic, I called him on Friday night, and he came to check the furnace on Saturday morning. After about 20 minutes of diagnosis, he found that the gas valve was broken. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the part available, so the repair had to wait until Monday morning when the supply store reopened.

On Monday, Dennis picked up the part and arrived at my house around 9 a.m. He finished the repair in about 30 minutes. Based on my research, the typical cost for this type of job ranges between $500 and $700. However, I was charged $900 for both labor and materials. I truly appreciate his prompt service, but the rate seems a bit higher than the market average.

By my calculation—20 minutes for diagnosis, 30 minutes for repair, plus parts—the fair total should be around $700 at most ($200 for diagnosis, $200 for repair, and $300 for parts).

Still super great ~ this time the appliances original to the house have met their end and Mike and the rest were super knowledgeable and patient helping us figure out how to proceed.

Still great - adjusted some things around the house after the furnace threw some error codes. House is warm now, can’t ask for anything more than that ❤️

Fast, professional and William gave me the first straight answer and great ideas I’ve gotten on my heating system. I had tried 8 different contractors over 5 years, but BWS was the only one that delivered for me.

Not sure why I got charged different prices in different in voice, and my understanding is the 87 $ supposed to be go towards the charge for the service but it didn’t.
A phone call will be nice to discuss this
    Thank you .

William explained each step of the boiler system repair, involving problem diagnosis, unclogging a pipe, replacing a pressure relief valve, installing an autofill valve and shutoff valve, and flushing the entire radiator system throughout the house. Work was performed professionally. Highly recommended.

One of the best service visits I have ever had in regard to HVAC. I didn't just get my dual capacitor changed on my 20 year old AC unit I got an education by my technician Mike VanKempen! Absolute professional at his craft. Will Use BWS again in the future.

This company did the plumbing on a bathroom in a house I bought Jan, 2022. Final inspections happened beginning of the year. The previous owner hired them late of 2021 to do the plumbing of house they were selling to add a second bathroom. The company failed to brace the bathtub valve causing movement and after Less than a year of use the connections failed causing damage to the new bathroom. After having to tear down the closet and wood Paneling to get to the Sheetrock (no access), I found all sorts of mold and water Coming out of the hot water pex connection. I called them to discuss their work to see if they stand behind it, and i Was told they did the work with the previous owner (who I am assuming they know) and wont Work with me. I asked for photos of work they did and they Refused because it is from someone else’s house (which is odd as it’s photos of my house). Somehow they got their work passed inspections even though the work they did was buried in the wall and closet That was finished. Taking short cuts and using Cheap connections now is gonna cost me around 4-5k to fix for work that didn’t even last 10 months. After sending these attached photos to them, the company got really defensive. I’m not a fan of negative reviews but the way his was handled, others have to know. Next will be with the department of labor.

Excellent and quick service from Michael. He allayed all my outdoor faucet leak concerns, suggested a self remedy under his supervision, and the cost was covered under our monthly membership program. Complete satisfaction from a 15-year veteran plumbing professional, all with a courteous smile!

I had my annual Plumbing Inspection with my Angel Michael. I had 2 faucet issues which he fixed unexpectedly on the spot! He also fixed my humidifier, which I had installed incorrectly! Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, not bad on the eyes either! I will definitely be keeping my comfy Club forever!

Mike did a fantastic job - we now have heat and the price was very reasonable. He didn’t try to upsell me, he listened to what I wanted and made sure he did a great, safe job without unnecessary frills.

Kevin, ops manager, provided exceptional customer service. Mike was the technician, very knowledgeable with boiler systems, fortunate to have him fix up our system for the winter in our newly bought home. Would recommend BWS and will reach out for any future needs.
