Michael stopped out to give an estimate on our bathroom today. He was extremely knowledgeable and explain things really carefully to us and some of the challenges that we're going to be facing with our bathroom, which we appreciate. It was pretty obvious he's been doing this for a very long time and he was an incredibly nice person. They also got us in right away to check out our project for us which we appreciated. I would highly recommend them for your bathroom and plumbing needs for sure.

Final Edit: BWS and I came to an agreement to satisfy my concerns. However, it took weeks to get this completed. Ultimately, I consider this item closed, and we did have agreement. It just took a lot of effort on my part to get it resolved.

Do NOT hire BWS for plumbing. They charged me an OUTRAGEOUS PRICE For 4 shut off valves and when they were done the valve handles were pointed toward the wall and blocking an outlet. Not only that, the faucet sprayer was tangled in the pipes when they were done.

I had to have them come back the next day, and there was no sense of urgency to resolve my issue, and they sent the same guy that screwed it up to fix it. Am I their training department on top of all of this too?

Seriously, do NOT hire them. Their prices are astronomical...and their workmanship is terrible.

Edit, in response to BWS response:
The valves were installed on the existing copper pipe that is close to the wall. However, they were impossible to use, because one valve handle was touching the wall, and the other valve handle touching the cover plate for the outlet. Not sure that you can call that a best practice. Further, no one discussed with me why the valves were oriented that way. It was clear they couldn't be used as soon as I went to plug in my dishwasher and couldn't plug it in, when I tried to turn the valves neither would turn. Not a great thing if you spring a leak and go to use the shut off valves.

For transparency: 4 valves were replaced. your technician told me he was going to bill it the other way before discussing the price, to save me some money. Before that the only discussion we had was about what needed to be done, and that plumbers are expensive.

When I called the next day to ask for someone to come and fix the problems after the install, you had two people call me back to discuss the problem before anyone came out. They were looking at the photo that had been taken of the install while I discussed the issue with them. One of them on the call was the dispatcher, not sure who the other person was, but after discussing the issue, the other person indicated that he was going to have to "train up" Michael.

You can try to say that this was an honest mistake. But for the price you charge, and being PROFESSIONAL plumbers, you should know better. If the valves were unusable, your plumber should have discussed it with me and we could have come up with a solution that would have worked for this scenario.

These guys have definately "gone to school" - excellent expertise and also great ways to explain things that are sometimes needed, recommended or occasionally ok to defer until sometime later.

I felt like I got good value with the hospital-grade air system that really works keeping everything running cleaner including our respiration!

Steven was very informative and a great help. We wound up needing our furnace replaced, but we felt comfortable with the decision and not like we were being forced into something we didn't actually need. Will definitely be calling these guys again next time.

The tech was fantastic. However I felt like it was a little bit of a bait and switch. Bws contacted me and said they would come do a free inspection of my furnace. Made it sound like they would be doing some actual work(tuneup) instead he said anything I wanted done would cost money. I would have rather paid a respectable fee and actually got some work done

Brandon with BWS did a wonderful job checking out our water heater and laying out all of the options for my husband. Very pleasant and didn’t pressure us into any decisions. Great service.

Brendon was very friendly, courteous, and explained everything in a way I could understand. Answered all my questions. I felt he was honest, and certainly went above and beyond helping me find just the right, tailored to my needs... equipment. Thank you very much, for your professionalism.

Great customer service, Skilled, knowledgeable, and informative Technician, Fair price.
I was pretty (read: EXTREMELY) nervous about having to call in for boiler repair when mine crapped out. It was minus 10 degress and forecast to drop to minus 20. I knew whoever I talked to would have me over a barrel. My assumption was that needing fairly immediate service wasn't going to help - IF I could get anybody to come out right away.

I had never heard of BWS - and actually called them by accident. Serendipity reigns. The person who took my call (Gretchen?) was crazy helpful and scheduled someone to come out within a couple of hours. The call charge was very reasonable and would be applied to any work done. William the Tech Dude was awesome: friendly, knowledgeable, patient (I tend to have a lot of questions). He offered my two options: fix what I had or replace it with new.

The price for both was very fair and in any event was not some crazy-ass "gotta replace everything" plug to transfer $ from my pocket to theirs. The price given was fixed and not by the hour. William was very effiicient and so it equated to a healthy bill rate, but it also included all the extra time it took for him to go get the necessary part. I was more than happy to pay it. The flip side would be an hourly rate with no cap that gets inflated and a final cost triple of what I paid.

I picked the replace option and William showed me exactly how it was done and walked me through some preventive mainteance steps and tips for making my radiators work better.

I am exceedingly happy with the service provided and I have a boiler that doesn't sound like it's going to blow up anymore.

My only suggestions:
1. a link or leave behind spec sheet for the item(s) installed so customer remembers what they have.
2. a BWS sticker with contact info on it so if anything else ever happens, they get the call (the probability I'll forget within a year or two is fairly high and eventually, I'm going to need to/want to replace my old boiler or water heater or install a heat pump ac)

In any event, I highly recommend BWS. If William shows up, tell him hello from me.

I hired this company upon a referral, and it was totally worth it. I needed a shut off added behind The gas stove but high up, so it would be easy to reach without having to pull the stove out every time and it was quick work. Mike V was polite, made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable. I asked lots of questions and he knew the answers right away. That made me feel sure that they were doing good work and we weren’t gonna blow up the house ! (jk) I will hire this company again absolutely as a matter fact I’m already planning the next job.

Heater stopped working and BWS was able to come out same day. Their starting prices were comparable to other companies that I checked on.

Service was amazing. Jeff called in advance, arrived promptly, and spent time answering and explaining any questions that I had. He was very courteous and put on shoe coverings immediately upon entering the house. Jeff had the furnace up and running pretty fast. Final price was super reasonable.

I would definitely use this company again. Highly recommend.

Great Experience With BWS!

I had an awesome experience with BWS for my furnace replacement. From the start, Mike Joritz made everything super easy. He explained my options in a way that actually made sense and never made me feel pressured. Really appreciated how straightforward and helpful he was.

On install day, Luke Johnson showed up right on time and did an amazing job. He worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and made sure the new furnace was running perfectly before he left.
The whole process was smooth, stress‑free, and exceeded my expectations.

Highly recommend BWS — and if you get Mike and Luke, you’re in great hands.

I had BWS (Better Way Service) come out give us a quote on a new furnace & AC unit. They were professional, knowledgeable and on time. We decided to go with a complete furnace & HVAC system. I would recommend this outfit. Forgive me but I believe Josh or Jordan was our sales consultant. He was great & very knowledgeable. That said once it was set up we had Chet come out and install the complete system again forgive me Chet had someone helping out as well, but these two were here @ 9:00am (the day after Christmas) very courteous, respectful of the house, hard workers and completed the installation at 9:00pm. It was a full day. They will need to finish the AC hook up in the spring (charge the line set). Again great job Chet & BWS. I will recommend you to anyone. Thanks,

I've been using this business for several years. Fortunately, a service rep (Thomas) was scheduled to visit our home the day of my call. He arrived timely and quickly identified and solved the problem.

We had a great experience with Linnea. She was a great communicator and knew what she was doing. She checked our existing Carrier system and our Daikin mini split and made a couple of good suggestions so we are all set to go. Thanks for a job well done!

Codi came to rescue us during a weekend heat wave when our AC suddenly stopped working. He arrived quickly, diagnosed the issue, and had everything running again in no time. He was professional, kind, and explained everything clearly. I really appreciated how calm and knowledgeable he was. Highly recommend both Codi and this HVAC company!

There's never a good time for the furnace to break down. Luckily residential heating was available for an afternoon appointment the same day. They've always done good work and this time was no exception.

Extra shout out to Kody for taking the extra time to make sure it was done right and that everything checked out and worked once the replacements were in and everything was closed back up.
