Really excellent service from Sherman Electric. They installed an EV charger for me. They were great from the start in walking me through the process, getting me the first available appointment, checking in on the permit/approval process and then walking me through the final installation. I never write reviews...but their level of service makes it easy. Highly recommended!

John is a great dude. Very honest and reliable.

Gave him a key to my house with tens of thousands of dollars in supplies other renovation work going on for my house.

Had him rewire my entire house which was built in the 60s and over 2500 sq ft. He had to re-do everything. The wiring the entire old panel had to come out and I wanted to a new one.

Great electrician but an amazing person overall. Always had time to explain what he was doing and why.

Requested an electrician to wire a sauna stove at same location where one had been for several years in my home.
The electrician that showed up decided that the wires should be changed and he needed a part. Had his apprentice show up with the part and then help him with the job.
The company billed me for both the electrician and the apprentice and materials for over 4 hours worth of work. The job took 4 hours because it took them a long time to wire through the existing area where the old wires were... On my dime.
My general contractor and the other licensed electrician I've had do other work on my house, both said those lines did not need to be changed out... So I probably paid for at least 2 additional hours of work that were unnecessary, and materials.
When I called about the bill... They were quick to say the apprentices hours should not have been there and they made a billing error... had I not said anything , it appears that they would have let me pay for the apprentice hours at 300 additional dollars.
They said they would have a conversation with the electrician the did the work, but they were not offering any kind of discount off of the idea that the work was unnecessary that he performed.
The work done was satisfactory... But I feel like I paid for $250 worth of additional hours that I didn't need to pay for if he would have just done what he was supposed to do in the 1st place, which is to wire to what was there. In further conversation, they were willing to give more of an explanation for the need of the wiring and adjusted the hours discussed down to the agreed 4 hours. I've upped the rating because of that.

If you're looking for top shelf, these are the guys. Phil did the electrical for our entire main level + garage renovation and did a phenomenal job. Very professional and easy to work with. We are extremely pleased with the suggestions he gave us along the way as well as the execution of our vision. I wouldn't call anyone else. Thanks for the great service.

Jesse is a real profession. We have a relatively complicated job of installing light fixtures on walls without proper sockets/wires. He did a great job and we love his service. I would recommend him to everyone.
