We have had KG out twice to completely transform our backyard. Kent’s thoughtful designs bring out all the best features. Our patio and rock wall enclosed space build into the side of the hill for our hot tub is by far my favorite place to be! The crews are so hardworking, friendly and very professional. Will defiantly have them back for our front yard landscaping at some point!

We used KG Landscaping for a landscape design and install for our front yard. Kent was super responsive, took my feedback into consideration, and worked collaboratively to create a design that met our vision and was in our budget. He was able to translate our very broad idea of what we thought we might want, and turn it into a polished design that was exactly what we were looking for but didn't know how to articulate! The install was scheduled very promptly in a busy time of the year, and the crew was professional and great at what they did. We couldn't be more thrilled with the final results! Our yard looks great, and the process to get there was smooth, easy, transparent, and fair.

Kent and KG Landscape took our empty, dusty backyard and turned it into something out of a magazine. Lush grass, vibrant plants, and crisp edging now frame the space perfectly. Kent and his crew brought our vision to life better than we imagined. We’re thrilled with the transformation!

Our project involved creating a stunning patio with a retaining wall and relocating the drainage system, and they knocked it out of the park! The company helped us ensure that the new project Blended seamlessly with our existing landscape and architecture. Everyone on the KG Landscape team were great! The crew was friendly, considerate, patient with my questions and cleaned up after each day. Multiple people on the team said to me, “our goal is to make you happy…”. That client-first approach has permeated their culture and shows in their genuine daily interactions. Kent made great suggestions on how to best use my resources to get more room to garden and improve my curb appeal. I am glad I chose them for my project!

The team helped us address some grading and drainage concerns in our side yard while replacing and widening a small, failing retaining wall. Everything turned out great! The crew did a wonderful job, ample attention to detail, and cleaned up the area every evening—honestly, far cleaner than I would have ever expected for an active job site. As a bonus result, we now have a functional garage service door that is growing in appreciation when it comes to taking things to the bins as the weather gets colder.

Kent started with an initial design outline for the full front yard which, as a designer, I greatly appreciated since I wanted to understand the vision for the full future scope even if we could only invest in taking on small portions at a time. He was also very respectful of my feedback, questions, or ideas during the planning process while still (thankfully) pushing back on things that likely wouldn’t function as I was hoping in practice.

This is our 2nd project with KG Landscape Mgmt, in our 2nd city. We had a very large paver patio project put in (from scratch) in our backyard her in Woodbury. They, again, exceeded our expectations. It was a tricky project, with a lot of weather delays, moving of irrigation lines, lots of grass torn up...but there crew worked hard and did top notch work. In addition, our point of contact/salesperson Russell, is THE BEST person to work with. He was always making sure we were happy with the project, willing to be flexible when things come up, and very responsive. As long as we are doing landscape work, we won't work with another company. Thanks KG Landscape! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We worked with KG Landscape on a project that converted a large wooded, brush-filled space into new lawn space. We added several areas of plantings, including multiple species of trees, grasses and flowering plants. With the new lawn space, our irrigation system was expanded, with many new sprinkler heads, drip lines, and new controller. They placed concrete edging and mulch in and around the new planting areas. The results were fantastic. The project opened up our property, better defined the space and created a stunning upgrade in curb appeal of our house. We look forward to working with KG again in the near future!

KG completely reworked our drowning backyard! We are in a flood plane in Plymouth MN and all the water killed our garden. They came in a did the job and also tweaked a few places that needed it after the storm. They were awesome!

I was very pleased with KG Landscape Management. I was looking for a company that would spread black dirt and overseed my yard. I was only going to do my front and side yards but after the crew arrived, I decided I wanted to have the back yard done as well. I contacted Tim, and he had an extra load of dirt brought out within the half hour! John and his crewmate were awesome. They were very friendly, very thorough and cleaned up the area as if they weren't even there. I would highly recommend the company. I plan to have then out again in the spring for my backyard again, as our dog does quite a bit of damage over the winter. Now I can sit back and watch my baby grasses grow without having to do the back breaking work. Thanks again Tim and crew!

KG Landscape did an outstanding job on our landscaping project. We needed to resolve a significant issue we were having with water drainage during heavy rainfalls. Russell was very responsive to our questions about the project. He obviously was well versed in issues with drainage and offered solutions that retained the nice look of the yard but took care of the problem we were having. He provided an estimate that seemed appropriate given the size of the job. We received updates on the timeline for starting our project. The workers were polite and knowledgeable about the specifics of the work. One of the staff stopped by to inspect the work to make sure it was being done to specs.

We are extremely satisfied with the end result. We would highly recommend this company!

We interviewed several landscapers and initially chose KG because we liked Kent's design approach, flexibility in scheduling when we needed it (fast), and value. We confirmed we made the absolute best choice after having their crew onsite for a couple of weeks and see the gorgeous outcome! A couple of examples of wonderful service - 1) we had a GIANT custom pizza oven delivered and the KG crew helped my husband and the forklift driver carefully unpack, move, and position it perfectly on the foundation that KG had laid, 2) Kent was very accommodating in ongoing design changes and shifts, as well as 'getting' our aesthetic and finding AWESOME historic brick pavers for our patio, and 3) the little things that matter like completely cleaning up daily and at the end of the job (down to washing the sides of the house and the driveway), respecting existing planting, and even laying down some sod for free because they had a little extra at the shop! I would not hesitate to recommend KG or to use them again, which in fact we will be doing to finish our outdoor kitchen and landscaping in the future.

The KG team did a great job on our backyard project, and we are very happy with the end result. The scope of the project included patio pavers, re-grading of our lawn, drainage from downspouts, a new privacy fence, and other light landscaping including boulders/borders/river rock/mulch. The initial quote was high, but within what we had budgeted for the project. After the project started and some things were discovered during preparation for the patios, there were several 'optional' items that were discussed and brought forward that significantly added to the cost. When we brought our concerns forward to Kent, he worked with us to focus on what was most important and what was a 'nice-to-have'. We were disappointed with the extra cost, but we were assured that even if we had stayed with the initial quote we would have been happy with the result. Ultimately, we decided to do some of the extra work (namely downspout drainage and some extra re-grading).

The overall design was excellent. The on-site team was also excellent. They worked hard and did a high-quality job, even going above-and-beyond to ensure the result would look great. Would use again and recommend.

Working with KG Landscape was a great experience. We are very happy with the process and timing of working with KG Landscape from the initial consult, design work, planning and build of our paver patio and landscape. The team was very responsive to emails, ideas and any questions and concerns throughout the process. We were kept in the loop with timeline for the project and once ground was broke it was complete in less than a week. We appreciate all the thought and hard work they put into our project and look forward to working with them again.

Kent was wonderful to work with. We wanted a low-maintenance landscape design for our triplex's front yard, which still looked nice. He listened to our needs and came up with a great design. Our front yard now has a clean and sharp look with the best shrubs for our needs. His team also planted a bee lawn which has already started to sprout. I will work with Kent and his company again for any projects our properties may need.

I originally reached out to KG Landscape several years ago to work on getting a design for my front and back yard done up. Kent was a pleasure to work with going back and forth in a consultative approach to getting the design drawn up and working with me on my vision and offering advise and thoughts to help me make the design be what I had fully pictured in my head and filling in the small details I may not have thought of.

Just this last month we were finally able to execute on one of the larger parts of the design in my front yard, installed a paver patio and redoing a brick retaining wall to separate the yard from the street boulevard.

Kent's crew were very deliberate, and careful in their work and did an awesome job rolling with some mid-job changes to the original design as the full scope of the state of the yard was understood once shovel hit dirt.

Their drive to get the job done and their commitment to the final outcome and making sure that everything looked as great as possible and was as functionally useful as possible is next level.

I highly recommend KG Landscape and will be back in touch in years to come as more stages of the total design are able to be completed.

We were very happy with service and quality of work from KG Landscaping during our backyard renovation. From the first meeting with Kent until the final touches we had a great experience. Kent really listened to us and made sure he understood our top priorities. He made great suggestions for hardscaping and landscaping to meet those priorities and was responsive and transparent about costs and project timing throughout. The crew was very fast, efficient, and considered every detail. We are already enjoying entertaining on the patio and can't wait to see how the trees and plants mature to give the yard more privacy and a lush landscape. We love our new outdoor space and would highly recommend KG.

I recently had a small patio and retaining wall project done in my backyard and worked with both Kent and Russell throughout the entire process. KG also helped with some grading issues in my front yard. They were both great to work with and the project turned out exactly as they proposed. I searched a few different companies and am very satisfied that I selected their company. I thought their pricing was very competitive in comparison to other companies I considered. Their crew members were also super courteous and friendly, and left my yard always in a neat and orderly fashion, even during the construction process.
