Kent is passionate about landscaping and worked with us to find beautiful and low maintenance options for our yard. His crew worked so hard everyday to get the job done well and on time! Even when our stairs proved more challenging, he found ways to alter the plan while staying on budget. Great company and great team!

We recently hired KG Landscape to complete a full landscaping of our front and back yard, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled.

They installed a beautiful patio that has completely transformed our front yard into a relaxing and functional space. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and Kent's design truly maximized our outdoor space. In addition to the patio, they planted two beautiful Japanese lilac trees and a variety of shrubs. They also took care of grading around the house, ensuring proper drainage and a clean, professional look. It’s clear they paid attention to every detail.

Working with KG for our landscaping project was a wonderful experience. Kent was incredibly helpful while we designed the scope and layout of the project, and his team was great. We were so impressed with the professionalism of the crews that were out doing the work. Kent and his team were responsive as the scope of the project changed, and the follow through and follow up have been A+ so far. We will definitely be looking to KG for help with any future projects our yard and outdoor space may need in the future.

KG Landscape recently installed a retaining wall on the side of our house so that we could extend our garden & plant wildflowers. We were very pleased with all aspects of this project. We got multiple estimates, and Kent's proposal was both cost-competitive and more detailed than the others we received. Kent contacted us a week or two in advance of when the work was performed to give us a window when the crew would be coming by, and the work was started on time and finished in a reasonable time window. The crew that did the work was efficient and pleasant, even though they were working through a windy & snowy cold snap in April. The end result is exactly what we were looking for and will give my wife a nice new spot to plant some wildflowers and strawberries. Kent followed up with us after the job to make sure we were happy with the final product and see if we had any questions. We look forward to working with KG Landscape again and recommend them to others without hesitation! (Note: the rather shoddy chicken wire enclosure was made by me, not KG!).

We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with 3 substantial retaining walls and 10 steps with landscaping block. We had about 12-14 pallet of the block delivered to us. In the first meeting with Kent he had a sense of design, how the build the walls and about plants. When the crew arrived they went right to work, and worked for solid days until it was done. The took a lunch break everyday, but other than that they took no breaks. They were pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and worked as a team. The original design was to leave an existing retain wall which has curves in it. When it was found to be very uneven, everyone involved, including Kent made a decision to take it out, but to take it down and reuse the block on the new base because it wouldn't be seen. In the end the new walls were redesigned just a simple curve which was the right change. Other supervisors and Kent were available as needed but the crew worked it without them. They knew what they were doing and did it well. That is hard work they do! They replanted some plants we saved and planted new ones as Kent helped us pick out some new ones. We will enjoy this for many years to come. I would recommend this well-run creative company to anyone that wants a good job done.

We were very impressed with Russell's approach to evaluating our backyard water issue, and the eventual solution he developed. The crew did very nice, minimally invasive work and perfect cleanup. We are looking forward to a dry backyard in the spring!

I hired KG to solve a problem with a part of my very shady and moderately steep yard washing out with heavy rains and draining onto my neighbors yard. Kent came up with a couple solutions based on how much I wanted to spend. He has a fabulous crew that came and did the work. Each night before they left they cleaned everything up.

KG Landscape Management did an excellent job on our home project, from design to completion. Communication was great, and project was executed professionally and on time. They installed a new retaining wall, an underground drainage solution to prevent erosion, and garden beds. Two thumbs up!

We used KG Landscape to give our condo building a much needed facelift. Our building had not had any professional landscaping done since it was built in 2007. We needed every space around the front, sides, and back of our building to be redone and/or cleaned up. We met with Kent and walked around the entire building to discuss what we wanted completed. He gave us a detailed list of everything that was going to be done along with photos of the different plants that would be installed. His recommendations and accommodations of what we wanted was extremely helpful! The crew was very professional and got the entire job done in 2 weeks. They also fixed our irrigation system and positioned the sprinkler heads to actually water our yard/lawn (needless to say we might be dropping our other irrigation company that failed to do this). Kent also followed up after the work was completed to check in and see if there was anything else we needed. After contacting 10+ companies to do this job (some with no response), I am SO happy we went with KG. They were willing to take the time to meet our needs and scheduled the work as soon as they could. 10/10 would recommend!

KG Landscape's inspiring design and quality work transformed our backyard space into a large paver patio surrounded by beautiful landscaping and a new timber trex deck. The crew was professional, friendly, and experienced. They adapted quickly to changes, and resolved all issues that arose during the project. Our family is very happy enjoying our new space!

We have lived in our home for 27 years.During that time, the only landscaping we have done is the usual tree trimming, planting flowers and mowing the lawn.We needed many things done. The reason we chose KG Landscape Management is they were able to complete all of our projects including, tree cutting and removal, taking out and replacing new rock, bushes/shrubs, leveling the yard as well as spraying for weeds and fertilizer. Kent was very knowledgable, professional and friendly! The workmen were skilled, great workers. It looks wonderful!! We recently hired KG Landscape Management to put in a paver patio and some landscaping in our backyard and we couldn't be happier with the results. Kent has amazing vision and helped us reimagine the layout to better suit our needs and design suggestions that really made a difference of how the space flows. The team was professional, communicative and skilled in what they did.

The patio is beautiful as well as the landscaping/plants that were installed. We also had them lay down the straw mats/seeding and was shocked by how quickly the grass grew back. They removed our old rotting wood deck, put in catch basins and underground drainage systems and even moved our hot tub. I cant speak highly enough of KG and the work that was completed. Its truly amazing and we've already been using our patio in the unusually warm MN fall weather!

We completed a renovation and garage addition last Fall, which left our yard a complete disaster. As soon as I was able, I began contacting landscaping companies for estimates and timelines. I reached out to three separate companies and met with two of the three. Russell at KG was responsive, personable and he listened to what we needed/wanted. KG was also able to get to the work as soon as it thawed in the spring, which was a big plus.

KG took our muddied, uneven landscape and made our yard beautiful again. They designed new mulch beds, selected hundreds of plants and installed beautiful paver pathways. Throughout the process KG was on time, respectful of our vision, and the crew was extremely efficient. Russell was very communicative, letting us know of any updates/changes as they came up.

Worked with Kent on a front and back yard landscape project including new plantings, sod, irrigation system, brick and flagstone walkway refresh. Kent is extremely personable and easy to work with. We hired KG Landscape to design and construct a new stone patio and garage backdoor pad, deal with some drainage issues in several areas around our house and to install new stone edging around the sides and back of the house. After seeing our house and yard, Kent made some great recommendations about the design and placement of our stone patio and edging, as well as how to repair the drainage issues we were concerned about.

Once the project was underway, Kent and his entire team were very responsiveness and flexible as we worked to refine the patio design during its construction. The crew went above and beyond with their hard work ethic, arriving early in the morning and putting in long work days. Alfredo was great to work with and is a huge asset to the KG team! We appreciated his willingness to answer questions during the project, explain what was going to take place next and quickly respond to our requests. Along with the expert patio and edging installation, the team worked hard to remove and replant several bushes and plants and facilitate sprinkler head movement as needed. We also really appreciated the planting of new grass seed and the thorough cleanup done at the end of the project, including power washing the steps and driveway.

We are very happy with the results of KG Landscape's work and look forward to enjoying the patio and improved landscaping for many years to come!

When we moved in to our house a couple years ago we loved the home and location, but knew the backyard needed a lot of work to function as we wanted. After a lot of research into landscape design & builders, we had our backyard paver patio and landscaping designed and installed by Kent and his crew. They were fantastic and we are very happy with the outcome!

Kent was very responsive starting with the design process and all the way through construction, finishing even ahead of schedule. He was very receptive to our feedback and did a great job of designing around our wishlist, the constraints of the space, and working to meet our budget line by line. My wife and I knew some of the big things we wanted, but no idea what the details should look like. He really brought it all to life by showing us various options and working to revise until we had a final design that we were very excited about.

The crew was extremely efficient, hard working, and conscientious. They clearly took pride in their work and the quality of the installations was top notch. I am particularly satisfied with the job they did on the grading of the entire backyard - we had some big concerns about drainage and they addressed them all. With the speed and quality of this project, we are looking forward to spending most of our summer enjoying our new backyard!
