One of the best contractor experiences I've ever had.

I worked extensively with David and the Freedom crew in my aging Minneapolis home. It was a great experience and I will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

David evaluated our home and our needs and actually concluded that we needed LESS than I asked for! He emphasized the need for whole-home comfort and not just slapping in a high-efficiency furnace and calling it done. He coordinated with my insulation company to tackle the whole project. He spent a ton of time on the phone with me - well beyond what could be reasonably expected. He and his crew were extremely courteous, timely, and CLEAN. David ensured that our home was just as nice when they left - a true feat that I have never experienced with any company before Freedom. I felt no qualms about David and his crew working in the home with my wife and child when I wasn't present - my wife had great respect for the crew and was extremely impressed with how diligently they took care of our home. David and his teams showed up when they said they would and completed the work on (or ahead of) schedule. The system is working flawlessly and keeps our home comfortable, even in the bitter cold.

I had 4 companies visit my home before choosing David and Freedom. Now I'll never have to go through that hassle again - I'll always pick Freedom. I recommend you do the same.

I recently had various work done at my rental property in St. Paul and want to give a shout out the great contractors I found and how easy they were to work with!

I was so pleased with the service I received from Freedom! Here's why I'd recommend them and how they're different from others: The City of St. Paul does annual safety inspections and said that my dryer vent was not up to the latest codes (that they had updated but not notified anyone of) and they claimed needed to be replaced. I tried to source this work from several companies but they weren't able to come out on my timeline or didn't have the specific licensed HVAC technician that they city required to do the work with a permit. In my calling around, I was able to get in touch with Freedom and spoke with Amy on the phone who was so friendly and easy to work with in getting everything I needed set up and closed out at the end of the job. I felt they were trustworthy and thorough and I would use them again and recommend them to others!

Submitted a service request and got a call 30min later to set up a time, same day. Our hot water was out and it turned out we needed a new one installed. Super friendly and knowledgeable crew. Happy with our experience.

Unwilling to install circulator pump I purchased myself from a local distributor. He says because of a risk that it goes bad. Considering mine cost $80 compared to his $400 quote, that makes sense.

The owner, John, seemed honest enough, so I believed him when he told me how much he was saving me on my boiler installation. After I paid him, the boiler stopped working, and he stopped answering my calls. He charged me double what it should have cost. This man is an unsavory thief!

John gave me one of the best estimates, was very personable, really knew his stuff (he told me some interesting information about my old boiler) and completed the installation as promised. I like that he answers his own calls and has been available when needed.

John was amazing and honest. When Uptown Heating and Cooling used scare tactics and tried to sell me two new water boilers, John saw the same boilers to be in good condition and provided tips on how to maintain them saving thousands of dollars. Thank you!

I had an major issue occur with my existing boiler and therefore needed to have it replaced. I shopped around for pricing. One heating and cooling company I called did not replace boilers but recommended Aaztec Heating and Air Conditioning. I got three price quotes. Aaztec gave me the best price and took out my exisiting boiler. Aaztec replaced it with a quality New Yorker boiler. I also appreciated that they gave me an idea about what went wrong with my pre-existing boiler which ran away. The assessment they provided me helped me negotiate my claim with CenterPoint Energy.
John, the president of Aaztec, and his son installed my new boiler and they both were excellent and professional. I would call them again for any future heating and cooling needs. Obviously, I recommend them. Knowledgeable and professional.

I needed an very old hot water boiler replaced. I have a large home with four zones ( there's a lot of piping - that need support when the old boiler would be removed). John at Aaztec had a very reasonable bid for a replacement boiler. He also arranged for an asbestos abatement firm to remove the old boiler. He replaced the boiler the very next day. I'm an engineer, and I can tell you that John knows boilers!

Had a recurring problem with our furnace not starting when prior tests showed everything was working normal. When technician came to our home in the evening, he fortunately had some experience with our type of unit and was able to diagnose the problem correctly. He replaced the failing part and now our furnace is working as good as new again. Tech was very professional and it was a pleasure to have him in our home.

We were able to book an appointment speedily, even though it was not an emergency. The specialist came out, did a meticulous check and only did what was needed.
