Our consultant Lawrence was useful and We needed a new A/C unit right away and he arrived out and gave us the best options that he could. Our installer Rod, Jalen and Clarence were also very professional and friendly. They did a terrifc job in explaining to us everything that they were doing and was very clean and neat.

The best plumbing company or contractor I have ever used. The sewer recliner work was finished on time and on budget. There employees are first rate. Starting with Stanley on outlying the project to Ronald supervising the work. They finished today but didn’t get a chance to photo the finished concrete work.

Our office has been shut down for over a month with no sense of urgency from Midland Heating and Cooling. Our understanding of the issue (due to our persistent checking-in) is that the necessary part has still not arrived from the supplier. However, the part is available at local retailers. There's been zero effort to expedite this process or solve this problem for us, even after WE found the part locally. At this point, I would strongly discourage calling Midland Heating and Cooling for any of your HVAC needs.

Heating unit that is still under warranty stopped working in our office more than 2 weeks ago. We called Midland, a technician showed up, checked the unit and left. They let us us know on November 14th that they ordered a part. We had to shut the office down because it became too cold to work, and wait for the part. We called the following week for an update and were told it will take 2-3 weeks for the part to arrive (ridiculous for an in-warranty unit). I called again on November 25th for an update, talked to Emily, and asked what part they were waiting for intending to purchase the part myself. Emily told me that Josh, the technician that checked the unit will call me back that afternoon - he didn't. I called the office again and left Emily a message that Josh never called - she didn't call back. Our office has been shut down for almost 3 weeks now. I called again this morning, got Emily again, who wasn't able to give me an update on the part but promised that Josh will call today - I doubt that he will. Completely unreasonable service - who can afford to shut an office down for weeks because a simple heating unit is down? And this one is 2 years old and under warranty.

Update for December 2nd - Josh did call, was very polite, but couldn't help further and wasn't sure when the part will arrive. He gave me the part number, which I was able to find available from several sources, including Home Depot. Our office has now been shut for almost 3 weeks because of a $351 part that can be purchased locally. We would have paid for that part ourselves of course if Midland would have let us know, instead of sending 30 people to work from home for weeks. Still no solution from Midland.

Update December 14th - Still no heat and no part. Todd Shuman (I believe the owner), promised a week ago that they will have the repair done by December 13th, but nothing. The office has been shut done for 5 weeks, and no one at Midland seems to care in the least.

I wouldn't do business with Midland ever again. We will find another HVAC company to repair our unit on Monday.

Have used Midland Heating for their seasonal maintenance and tuneups for AC unit and furnace program for the last few years and highly recommend. Techs are very thorough and knowledgeable.

Our technician, Josh, was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He fixed our issue promptly and efficiently. He was happy to share tips about maintenance & things we should watch for in the future and to answer questions I had about our systems.

When David, owner of Midland Heating & Cooling, came out to our house, along with technician Jake, to confirm all is well with our heating system, he also confirmed my confidence in Midland and in its small business old school high level service. Their working knowledge of our modern gas boiler and their cheerful, patient, willingness to help me understand its sounds and settings is very much appreciated.

Midland technician Seth came out fast to help restart my furnace. He found the problem fast and fixed it. But what I liked the best was that he made a plan with 9me to keep this from happening again. Minnesota winters are cold and I like being proactive about keeping my furnace running well all season!

Working with Midland is terrific! Every time I've had their help has been satisfying and that's true of yesterday's service at well. Emily, in the office, was able to schedule my service right away - noting my current and past issues and matching that to the same service technician. Yay! Very responsive. Jeff came out and spent time assessing, EXPLAINING and solving the problems. He's very congenial and thorough. I used Midland for the first time for a furnace tune up. Jake was a great technician and helped me understand what maintenance I can do to keep my furnace running efficiently this winter. Prices are transparent and reasonable. Would highly recommend!
