Ross‘s service was excellent in every category. He informed me in advance when he would be arriving, Was respectful of my home By leaving the area clean, completed the work efficiently, and gave me a clear and concise report, including advising me that honestly I did not need new filters. Then he went above and beyond when I told him that my new mini split that Standard had installed in the spring was not working. He took the time to check it and discovered that it was not getting power. He then called the office and set up an appointment to have a service call the next week. Very impressive!

Had a new furnace and heat pump installed (scheduled) on Christmas Eve. Crew arrived at 8:00 and everything was wrapped up by 2:00. They were all very nice and helpful and laid rugs down to avoid tracking dirt through the house. They took all traces of the old system with them and cleaned up after themselves. They also took the time to explain what they were doing and how the new system works. Price was reasonable. Very happy with the whole process.

We had Standard Heating and Air come out to our house for a tune up on our furnace. Avery, the technician that came to our house, was very efficient and extremely knowledgeable. We paid a fair price for the service we received and were informed of future services that may be of benefit to our furnace without a hard sales pitch. I am very pleased with the service we received. I would definitely recommend Standard Heating & Air.

Our Tech Brian was prompt, courteous, and professional. Gave us straightforward options for repairs and didn't try to upsell or talk us into parts/service we didn't need. Def recommend Standard.

I’ve had very positive experiences with the maintenance techs at Standard Heating & Air Conditioning. Connor service my furnace today. He called a couple of hours before the appointment to say that there had been some cancellations and he could come a bit early if ok with me, which it was. He then called to let me know he was about 20 minutes away. It’s so helpful to get that kind of notice when you’ve signed up for a three hour window for service. He was very polite and personable (and a cat person!) and performed the service work promptly. He showed me a photo of a problem area and gave an estimate of what it would cost to repair, noting that it wasn’t urgent to repair immediately. He noted that my HVAC unit is getting pretty old—18 yrs, and offered to set up an appointment to provide a quotation for a replacement.

Jake was great! He made sure I understood what was wrong with my furnace, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was running smoothly before leaving. He also gave me a list of things to be on the look out for given the age of my furnace, which was super helpful. I would 110% recommend Jake to anyone who needed help.

Standard Heating and Air Conditioning are so very professional. Matt, the technician, sent to do a yearly check on my furnace was the best technician I've ever experienced and Ive had a lot of furnaces cleaned in different homes over the years. I am so glad a neighbor recommended this company and I am now a loyal customer. Thank you for your wonderful work.

Great all around experience - diagnostic, scheduling, sales, and installation. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable and professional. Our furnace stopped working and they had a tech out the next morning. He explained what was going on, answered my questions and gave me his opinion. He even told me that my current 15 year old furnace model was eligible for a manufacturers credit on a new model due to a design flaw. I decided to get a new one - how much do you want to invest in a 15 year old unit anyway? So a sales rep came out the next morning. He was great to work with (they aren't always!) and got me scheduled the next day for an install since we had no heat and it was November. And last, the install team the next day was prompt, efficient, polite, and got everything working. It's great to work with a local company that provides great service at a fair price. If I had one really minor complaint it's that they required either a cashier's check, or a credit check if you're using a personal check. But at the same time I get it - they have to make sure they get paid and don't want to deal with bad checks. So we had to scramble a bit on that to get a cashier's check or unfreeze our credit.

Jake was very knowledgeable, thorough in explaining the issues. I didn’t feel he was pushy or trying to accumulate extra repairs or services on our furnace issue. It was great seeing the photos of the inside and learning more about furnace functions. Definitely recommend Standard Heating!

Excellent communication and professional service. The Smart Club plan is a great deal, which covers an annual tune up. The warranty on parts covered an AC fuse that blew during the recent storms. Technicians are great with pets. Schedules are on top of their game. Once a date was selected, I was given a two hour window at the beginning of the business day. The technician also called 30 minutes prior to their arrival and it was like clockwork. The technician confirmed today's issue in a quick minute and the part was replaced in the same breath. Thanks team!

Kongpheng arrived even earlier than he anticipated. He was quite friendly, polite and outgoing. Inquired right away if I had any concerns or questions he might address. I asked him to show mw how to replace my air filter which was part of a new electronic air clearer system. He got right to it after attending to the thermostat. Kongpheng explained everything clearly and went slowly through the procedure. Boy, glad to have had the system installed, the filter was really dirty!! He got right to work on the inspection of the furnace. His feedback was clear, concise and easy to understand, Very profession, Thanks much Kongpheng and Standard Heating!!!!

Brian was a great tech. Communicative prior, during and after the service call. NOT pushy on sales, justified all recommended actions. educated me on my furnace and tips for my particular situation.

Mike came out for a furnace tune up. He was very friendly and professional. He kept me posted on his arrival time and arrived when he said he would. He did a great job explaining his findings and took the time to walk me through a few options to think about and explain why they were important. It was a wonderful experience!

Furnace went out over Presidents day weekend. Phil was able to come on a Saturday evening and clearly explained our options. He was able to schedule an install for the morning after the holiday and Josh is hard at work right now overcoming some unforseen problems expertly. I am very impressed by their attention to detail.

Gavin was very polite and knowledgable. He listened when I told him that I thought the drain line to our humidifier wasn’t draining properly, and also didn’t appear to be raising the humidity in the house. It turns out that the drain line was clogged and I had forgotten to open the vent flapper on the ducting. He fixed both problems and then provided advice on how to easily remedy both issues myself between scheduled service calls.

I like to hover and interact with the technicians as I always pick up useful information during the visit. Jack was great and fully deserves a 5-star rating. Today my query involved duct cleaning. (Which is not a service they offer.) He gave advice and a path forward. He also shared before and after pictures from the work done on his home. Totally a reminder on the importance of doing it. Great guy; great visit.

Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled with furnaces. Our empire furnace has been nothing but trouble and we have had multiple technicians out to try and get it started and he went above and beyond and ultimately got it started! Highly recommend Standard Air and heating and specifically, Alex!

Something is going on with their service department. First visit to repair our Second Wind UV air cleaner they didn't bring replacement bulbs. I mentioned bulbs were needed when I arranged the service call. Second time they brought 1 bulb but it needs 2. Also, on the first visit I mentioned a possible issue with the power supply (they didn't check it). Today they decided the GFCI is broken and the outlet needs repair by an electrician. I've been happy with service with Standard in the past. But there seems to be a communication issue between the service department and the techs responsible for repairs.
Update: had a helpful conversation with Ryan, the service manager. UV air cleaner is fixed as of today.

Jerad was on time, quick to diagnose the issue, speedy at retrieving the needed replacement part and then installed and provided me with a thorough explanation of his work. As we woke up to the house at just 51* my whole family is exceptionally appreciative for the same day repair work. We’ve been with Standard for over ten years now and recommend their services to anyone in the area.

Been using Standard for our quarterly AC and Furnace tune ups and they always do a fantastic job. This time, I had Gavin doing the service on my furnace and not only did he did a quick and thorough job, but he was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to as well. Would recommend both standard and Gavin each and every time.

Everything about this experience has been great from start to finish. My initial contact was Peter. He was thorough, polite and able to walk me through all of my options for both my new furnace and water heater. He even got me my quotes on the Friday after Thanksgiving!

Josh came today to install the furnace. Along with him were John the gas guy and Al the electrician. They were all thoughtful, kinda, CLEAN and thorough during the install. I knew what was happening every step of the way.

Even the customer service folks I had contact with were fantastic!

Not only am I supporting a long established family owned Minnesota business, but they were amazingly priced, personable and timely! I highly recommend the Standard Heating and Air Conditioning crew!!
