I contacted Standard Heating & Air Conditioning on November 7th. My brother-in-law referred me because he had Standard Heating install his furnace about 5 years ago. My brother-in-law was a project manager at Johnson Controls, and is quite knowledgeable with heating, air conditioning, and controls. I was told I would have to wait a couple of weeks for their sales rep. In the meantime, I did get several other estimates. On November 21st, Nate Stoll came to my home. I was total impressed with his knowledge, and giving me options, including a heat pump, which none of the other companies even mentioned. He also was aware of the many rebates and tax incentives, and it ended up that a heat pump along with a new 98% energy efficient furnace would be less expensive. By the way, Nate even wore shoe covers so he did not track mud and dirt down my carpeted stairs. I gave Standard the go ahead the day Nate visited us. My installation took place on December 16th, the crew was right on time, and it took them only one day. The crew consisted of Corey, Sean, and Matt. All three knew their stuff, were friendly, wore shoe protection all of the time, and cleaned up after my project. Sean took a lot of time explaining the new system to me. I highly recommend Standard Heating, along with Nate, their sales rep, and Corey, Sean, and Matt, their installers. We could not be more happy. Thank you.

We appreciate the professionalism and knowledge of the folks who supported our new furnace and a/c heat pump. From Brian’s assessment and recommendations to Josh our main installer (also the technicians who supported Josh) it was smooth and well done. We received good instruction on everything new and even after a huge amount of work, nothing was left behind.

I needed emergency radiator/boiler service; not everyone maintains that expertise, but Standard does. I called around, and Standard had both the best price for a service call, and frankly handled my phone questions better than their competitor. Their service tech arrived within the window, called first to notify, and politely gave me 5min to finish a work call. Gary quickly diagnosed my boiler issue, and provided me with service options. He was transparent about what needed to be done to retore service, and other risks that I had with my okder system. He was clear and honest about prices and options that were sane and rational. I picked the level of service that made most sense. But the main point is I was given a full explanation of choise, pros and cons. My furnace was up and running within about 50 minutes. Gary was expert, helpful, and really decent to work with. I made the best choice, and I’m happy with the choice I made. I will call the again in the future.

Matt did an excellent job servicing our furnace. He was very thorough and efficient. He also clearly answered all the questions I had. I recommend him very highly.

Gus did a great job troubleshooting our furnace. He was courteous and gave us repair and replacement options and moved quickly to arrange for our solution. We have worked with Standard Heating for decades and have come away from all transactions very satisfied.

Gus provided excellent service. He was prompt and knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything and outline the options available. He was super. Whatever you are paying him, you are getting a bargain! You need more techs like Gus!

Mike was an absolutely fabulous technician! He went the extra mile to thoroughly check and clean everything. I’ve owned 6 homes and lived in 8 apartments before that; I appreciate a company that I can count on to make sure my most expensive thing in my home stays in running condition.

That’s also why I belong to your annual maintenance club. Peace of mind!

Seth was exceptional. Friendly, informative, helpful, and eager to insure I had all my questions answered. Even offered to follow up in a few days to ensure everything was running smoothly. Can’t say enough great things about his service. A++

Jason was super helpful. Even showed me how to clean off the flame sensor on my furnace if it short cycles in the future. Been going to Standard Heating for years too when my heat and AC need maintenance, and I bought a new AC from them last year. They are generally trustworthy and reliable, and their prices are reasonable.

Peter and Matthew are great technicians. They explained everything that they inspected. They were extremely courteous and friendly. I noted an error message we received from the system a few weeks ago - they checked it out and made a few adjustments. Explained what may have happened and there are no worries. Thanks for the great service.

Very pleased with the quick response on a very cold day in January from my call to completion was a couple hours.
Though I had sticker shock on the price of the part needed.
Jason had the part for my 23 year old furnace.
All in all I am very happy with the outcome.
I would use SH&AC again.

Had a whole HVAC system install (furnace, AC, heat pump, and electronic filter system) done by Tovah. She was here for 8+ hours starting right at 8:00am and did very excellent work the entire day. Other than the vent cutting and shaping noise, which you can't help, I barely noticed her team were here doing such major work. I would very much recommend that if you can request a specific installer from Standard Heating & Air, that you request Tovah for your install technician!

I was pleasantly surprised to see Deacon, since I’ve recently moved. He was frequently the person who came to my previous house in Blaine, for these services. I really liked the maintenance program at my previous house. So, I decided to continue that service at my new house. He is very good at explaining things I need to know about my furnace, what I could upgrade and why. He installed a different type of filter system for my furnace, which I thought was a little bit too much money. I asked him many questions about that. He’s not pushy, but just very pleasant to deal with. I told him a I’d like him to be the one to come to do maintenance each time. He let me know I could request that he come, and they would put me on his schedule. I highly recommend Deacon!

Jack was a new technician on our account this month. I asked to watch & have him explain each step of the qtrly maintenance procedure. He was terrific! He has an excellent grasp of the technical features and the operational knowledge important to a residential customer. He handled my questions with patience and professional competence. I am totally confident our maintenance service is in good hands.

Brian was fantastic to work with. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly flexible when I had a scheduling conflict - he went out of his way to accommodate us, which we really appreciated.

He took the time to clearly explain the issue we were experiencing and made sure we understood what was going on. He also walked through a few add-on options that my fiancée and I have been considering for a while, without any pressure - just helpful information to think about.

All around, it was a very positive experience. I would recommend Brian’s services to anyone.

I was a member of Standard's "Smart Club" for several years before moving. They were always professional and easy to work with.

Because of my move and an equipment warranty at the new home, I worked with another HVAC company for a few years..... things didn't go well with the other guys.

Now I am a returning customer with Standard Heating & Air. Today was my first visit after reactivating my Smart Club membership. ,Standard's service, training and personnel continue to be top notch. I'm so sorry I left, but so glad to be back!

Jake was absolutely the epitome of professionalism and patience and was incredibly easy to work with. I chose this company because they were woman owned, and I loved my sales rep and how low pressure everything felt. When I was ready to make the purchase, I was not expecting to have the same level of calm patience in the installers team, but they were all fantastic.

Jake called when he was on the way and gave me the exact time he would arrive, showed up exactly as promised. Was very quick to diagnose my main problem, was on the phone with parts looking to see the availability of the parts all while continuing to look over the furnace and get the full picture of what the current state of my furnace. Once he completed his assessment of my furnace, parts was already back to him with the verdict. In total this all happened in about 20 mins and was ready to get the work done. Very impressed.

Jerad came to our house for an emergency furnace outage and was amazing! He was patient with our dog and kids, and took his time to explain everything thoroughly and update us throughout. He made sure we knew what he was doing, and what our options were, then he took care of a future service we had booked to save us time. Highly recommend Standard and Jerad was outstanding as a service tech!
