They did a poorly managed application of a 2,4-d containing herbicide on my neighbor's lawn, which drifted over and killed my pepper and tomato plants and injurying my grapevines. In order for this mistake to happen, it means they had an untrained person doing the herbicide application and/or that person did not care to follow the label directions to prevent drift. I don't recommend them to anyone who gardens or who has a neighbor with a garden. Photo is of 2,4d damage on one of the pepper plants before it died.

Khalil kicked ass!! He is very calm. Will give you the knowledge necessary to educate you on your lawncare skills. Looking forward to his return. I'm very confident his experience will turnover to a healthy lawn thanks to him. He also addressed what the previous technician missed or didn't implement correctly. I was skeptical at first. Our lawn was pretty bad, and this summers drought didn't help. But the before and after pictures say it all...
On a side note: I had to call them back twice because they 'forgot' to do the backyard. I'm overall happy with my results

Do not use this service.
They ran a machine leaking oil around the perimeter of front and back yard.

UPDATE 7/28/21
TruGreen set an appointment for a “manager”, the one who handles really critical escalated problems. I took off work because they would not give me a time of day for the appointment. I was told he would walk the lawn with me, survey the problem and we’d come up with a solution.

Didn’t show all day! There was no phone call NOTHING!

Few days later I get an automated call saying they’re going to do a free aeration, the same thing that did nothing to solve the problem last time. Why? Because there is the soil is dead from the oil. Nothing will grow there!

These are people with lawn care knowledge?!?

See below for what I have to do now for the 4th time in 10 months.

The process for resolving the situation:
Call 800 number, they leave note for a manager

Manager will respond within 24-48 hours

If you happen to miss their call, they give you the same 800 number and you start over.

Once you do connect with a manager, they tell you that another manager will follow up with you within 5-7 business days.

Guess what you do if they don’t show up. Back to step one.

They have still not fixed the problem. My lawn still looks like this…

Horrible, horrible company. First, they left my gate open and my dogs got out. Then it was impossible to cancel. I paid what I owe and told them to stop coming and they would still come and started charging me again.

It is so nice to go out in our yard and NOT get bit by mosquitoes. Jim is very knowledgeable about the products he uses to treat our yard and takes the time to answer my questions.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Find someone local or do it yourself. It’s overpriced and you will not see any results, and if you try to take them up on their 100% guarantee offer they will ignore you.

First, our lawn has large brown patches, despite a year (10 sessions) of alleged service. They offer a 100% guarantee, but when we called, they never sent anyone out or replied to get something scheduled.

Second, they auto renewed my service without consent, and after telling me over the phone that they would not renew until requested.

Lastly, when I called to cancel after their atrocious service the customer service rep kept me on the phone for almost an hour trying to sell me additional services, despite repeated clear statements that I did not want any further service. They also refused to provide me with any confirmation that my service had been cancelled.

Asked for a quote via email only, they still called me I spoke to them, they don't offer the service I want, in the next 2 weeks they have non stop called me at least 15 times including 6/7 pm Sunday, and during the weeknight, and they call me from multiple numbers, it's impossible to block them all.

Update as of 8/11/25, after emailing multiple times, no response. I have received 31 calls, all from different numbers. (blocked each one)
I'm grateful to true green for being so bad, I was able to find a great service at a great price, I would have never discovered if Iwas with Truegreen.

We’ve been using Trugreen for 2 to 3 years now. We have noticed a wonderful change in our lawn. The staff is extremely courteous and respectful. Khalil has serviced the lawn a few times and has been so friendly and professional. We will be signing up again next year.

We’ve had two treatments so far and I love the communication and follow up! Too early to tell how the treatments are doing, but so far customer service is top-notch and highly responsive to our questions concerns and needs!

It truly works! I tried other products including Sunday and struggled to keep a nice lawn. What a transformation in 1 year from when I switched from Sunday to TruGreen - see the pictures for proof of incredible results.

Tech was supposed to call me when our prior to arriving. I needed to go over things with him. I think he was doing the broad leaf weed killer.

Service is great- I don’t have to put in any effort beyond the original scheduling call. I appreciate Khalil and how he helps me have a beautiful lawn.

Our grass has never looked better this summer thanks to Khalil and TruGreen. Khalil was always on time and more than happy to give me insight into the treatments he was applying along with anything he noticed in my lawn - like some overwatering, etc.

I am on my second season with TruGreen.
My lawn was quite in need of improvement and with TruGreen my crabgrass and other weed situation has greatly improved. My lawn is much thicker and healthier now. I am going for a golf course look, lol. I most definitely will use them again next season.
They have an excellent app for viewing your results and payment information. I highly recommend going with TruGreen.

Kaleb has been servicing my property now for a few years. It’s nice to have consistency with the same tech and be able to communicate effectively with him and he with me.

Technician Khalil serves our Lawn regularly and he is amazing. He ensures that he covers all areas and does an outstanding job. No more weed and our Lawn is green.

Harassment. Made the mistake of calling for a quote. Next day 4 calls and a few emails. Following day 2 calls by 9 am and emails. They keep changing the number they call from and changing it so match my area code so I'll answer. Their marketing is similar to the loan scams. Completely bombarded by calls.
