The team at Ed's Buckthorn Control removed a large area of buckthorn in my yard. In addition, they provided ideas for native plants that could be planted to help keep buckthorn away in the future. I'm very happy with their work. My yard looks a lot better. Their team is knowledgeable. I'm very glad I contacted Ed's Buckthorn Control.

I understand having to move the bird feeder, but now I have to clean up my sidewalk. Could have been a little more careful.

We used Rainbow Tree Company to trim a maple tree as well as a very tall spruce. We waited a few months for the appointment, but they were quick to bid the project and came at the appointment time. They hauled away the debris and did a great job trimming the two trees.

I had several stumps removed that were close to my house. Reggie did an excellent job grinding them down quickly and neatly. One was loose enough in the dirt that he went ahead and pulled out the roots too so that was nice. He also cleaned up some of the weeds that were near the unwanted stumps which I appreciated. He is very friendly too! I'm glad I went with Rainbow Treecare. I liked the online proposal/acceptance/invoice system too.

We had a number of trees trimmed and removed. Tom and his crew were extremely professional, courteous and receptive to all questions and requests. Reggie also did a great job removing the tree stumps including cleaning up and ensuring the heavy equipment did not damage our lawn. The gentleman who operated the truck that picked up all large piles of tree branches and logs was also very meticulous. We would highly recommend Rainbow.

Rainbow Tree Care did a fabulous job removing the large tree limb from my garage which happened as a result of a snow storm. Al Olson has been a great help to us over the years with our trees and got us on the schedule quickly. The crew members who did the job were great - professional, courteous and efficient. I would enthusiastically recommend Rainbow for any and all tree care!

Rainbow Treecare was very professional. They actually arrived earlier than their scheduled time which was fine with us. They had all of our trees trimmed in about an hour and the truck came about 45 minutes later to clean everything up. By the time everything was all said and done it looked like nothing had touched the ground. We would definitely use them again. They are reasonably priced too.

Now unresponsive and disorganized. Used years ago. Expensive and somewhat disappointed. Did not trim everything per conversations with estimator, not worth the price paid.. Have used other tree services since with good results. They now do lawn care. Gave written detailed estimate requests for lawn weed control, added tree trimming and ash treatment. 9 days later no response. However, now getting almost daily junk emails for Rainbow services, but no estimate. Called 3 times, no answers, left detailed VM. Still waiting for estimate to be scheduled or emailed to me. Rainbow just wasted my time. Why City of Eden Prairie recommends them for Emerald Ash control is beyond me.??

Excellent work. Had an arborist (Matt Suzukida) come out and assess the state of a buckeye in our yard. He confirmed it was healthy but after talking to me, we agreed we should prune the tree and raise the canopy.

The crew that handled the pruning and canopy raising did an outstanding job and were careful of my neighbor's flowerbeds. The did quick, careful work and did an outstanding job cleaning up after themselves.

I can highly recommend Matt as well as the rest of the crew from Rainbow Treecare. When that tree needs to come down, I have no reservations about calling Rainbow and having their crew handle the job.

We had several of our trees trimmed today, and what a wonderful job Rainbow did.
It all started with a consultation with their Arborist, Jesse Belter. And he even came over this morning to give the details of the job to the crew.
Mariah, Aaron, and Evan made a great team and worked together to make the work go efficiently. They were good communicators and were quick to offer suggestions and advice on how to make our property look its best. The Trees in our yard now look great.
And what blew me away was how meticulous they were about cleaning up. Our yard never looked so good.

Once again, Rainbow Treecare sets a high bar and then delivers service above the raised bar. Their crew was out today to trim a large tree in our backyard (Uptown zone) and when they completed the project, our yard was cleaner than it was before they arrived. The crew is truly well schooled in customer service and Rainbow Treecare remains our go-to for any and all tree services. If you are interested in consistent quality, contact them as you will pat yourself on the back for making the connection!

We had a dangerous tree that had to be removed. The tree trimming department came within a week and cut enough to make the tree stable until Jesse (our arborist) could help us make the final plans for removal. The removal itself was done smoothly and with the same cleanup we have come to expect from Rainbow.

We chose to wait until spring to have the stump removed and were contacted by the scheduler to find the most convenient time for us and the company. On removal day, Cole arrived on time and spent almost 4 hours carefully grinding the stump down and smoothing the site. He was very careful to protect our other plants and our sprinkler system.

We could not be happier with the entire process and will make Rainbow our first (and likely our only) call when we have any other tree issues.

Yesterday we had Rainbow Tree Care take out a tree stump, actually the remaining part of the stump that our previous tree care company didn't finish. We worked with Reggie and Justin. They did an extremely professional job on this task. And they were quick about it. They both spoke highly about the company that they were working for. They said it was a great company to work for. In my opinion, the only reason Rainbow is a great company is that they have engaged employees that are as good as Reggie and Justin. They were efficient, personable and were concerned that we approved of the job that they did before they left.

As a company you are lucky to have employees like these two gentlemen.

I have been a customer for many years and this year I am not very happy. You alerted me when you were coming to treat trees. I contacted you twice and told you that was fine, but we would be gone for 12 days. I asked you 2 times and you assured me that NO BILL OR INFO WOULD BE LEFT ON THE FRONT DOOR KNOB! YOU FAILED, AND LEFT IT THERE! FOR 12 DAYS anyone nearby would know that we were not around putting our home at RISK! Very poor business practice. Also in the past you have provided size and dosage for each individual tree. This was not done. I paid you electronically, but maybe I should have waited.

Torrential rains came within minutes of my.treatment, plus my treatments were done inbetween showers. I really don't want to pay for this expensive treatment when it's probably not an effective one on my 6 evergreen trees. Yes, it is supposed to dry in 15minutes, but that's when the rain came. I have been with this company for YEARS...... when David Strootman was my arborist.
I'm requestimg my trees to be resprayed. Also, it is in my notes to notify me BEFORE the spraying will be done. I have a neighborhood with multiple allergies and who is sensitive to the spray.
NO ONE notified me !!!!

1st time using Rainbow, great experience. Slow to schedule but absolutely worth it as we've discovered there are a lot of sketchy and unreliable contractors out there. Had a 40 ft white pine removed next to our pool so we were definitely worried about safety, power lines and the mess. We literally did not see a single speck of sawdust or leftover broken branch, either from the tree downing or the stump grinding afterward. Team super friendly, fast, and now it looks like there was never a tree there to begin with. Highly recommend.

I witnessed ONE OF YOUR employees today at my neighbor's house. He WAS A CLOWN!.He kept on screaming in frustration, threw his green gloves on the ground and twice played on the ground screaming. Don't hire this CIRCUS OF CLOWNS!

We have had Rainbow Treecare out several times to deal with different issues, including treating our Ash tree for Emerald Ash Borer and treating and pruning our Spruce tree. Everyone who has come out has been very professional, thorough, and easy to work with. In particular, our area’s arborist, Sam, has been incredibly helpful and responsive. He takes the time to explain things and has always provided a quick and accurate quote for the work we are considering. For our latest call, Sam came out and dealt with a branch on a power line as a courtesy, which was much more than I was expecting and much appreciated! We have been very happy to have Sam as a resource, and we will certainly be calling him and Rainbow in the future. Highly recommend.

Great service from beginning to end. Sadly we had to have our beautiful old maple removed before it fell down. The removal was fascinating and done with minimal disruption of our gardens. Clean up was immaculate. Stump grinding fast and also fascinating. All we need is some seed in the spring and it will look like no tree was ever there.
