We called H2C when we were having problems with our boiler. They know boiler systems very well, and quickly determined the problem and took care of it. We were very happy with our service and would highly recommend them!

My furnace was making a rattling noise and it would come and go. Javear fixed the problem. He found the loose connection to the furnace that was causing the rattling. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and skillful and answered all my questions about my furnace. Thank you H2C Heating , Cooling and Plumbing!

Kurt came out quickly and replaced our water heater. He did a terrific job!! He was very personable and helpful too. We were very pleased.
-
Old plumbing produced a difficult job with two leaks around our old bathtubs. Plumber Dan was able to fix both well in a way that saved us some money. He was friendly and informative.
-
Installation was timely and we appreciated efforts taken to keep our wood floors and carpet protected as equipment was brought in and out. Also appreciated post-installation info shared that will help us keep our system running optimally for many years.
-
The service technician was a huge help. Not only did he service my boiler but he took the time to answer several questions that I had. I will definitely use these guys on heating and plumbing projects that I have in the future!

We have used H2C for several years on Electrical, Plumbing and Heating/Air Conditioning projects. We keep coming back because of the quality of the work, the professional, accountable tradesmen and the ease of doing business with the company. A quality company filled with quality people. No need to call anyone else.

I would highly recommend H2C and specifically Pete Truhlar and his team of Keith, Dave and Curt who did an outstanding job of replacing our old galvanized piping and drum trap. They were very reasonably priced and very professional.

Called three HVAC companies on July 3rd to look at our air conditioning. H2C was the only company to callback in a timely manner, the other companies called back five to six hours later. H2C scheduled a service call with a two hour window. Kurt showed up early in the projected time window, promptly diagnosed the problem, sourced the part, provided an estimate then picked up and replaced the blower motor. I was impress with his service and will use H2C in the future.

I had a guy out about 2 weeks ago for an estimate and still have not heard back. I've left multiple text messages, no response. I told them I had a few questions, but when the estimate guy came out he only talked to me for about 1minute before leaving. He talked to his co worker who was inspecting my boiler about 5 times as long as me, then he left without saying anything to me. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

We had toilets installed by H2C and highly recommend using this company. Keith was polite, professional and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. We will be using H2C to replace the water softener next!

Darlene is a Doll, and Keith along with his helper (?) got my hot water heater done quickly this morning. My furnace and A/C is from them as well, and our building inspector was super impressed with that installation. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

I've had H2C out a few times. I've been so happy. The first time they came out they saved us tons of money and fixed a problem previous plumbers did not! Keith & Pete are great!
-
We have had nothing but positive experiences with H2C. All the technicians and plumber we have had come to our home have been extremely courteous and friendly. Scheduling our service was a breeze and done in a timely manner. Awesome service and great people!

In early 2018 we called H2C in order to get a quote on a new furnace after having issues with our old unit. We were fortunate to find out that H2C technician checked the warranty. I did not even think of that with a 18 year old furnace. Thankfully our old furnace was under warranty and they replace replaced the heat exchange. Granted there was some luck in this, but this is the only company that checked the warranty. The three other companies we called didn't even think about checking the warranty and wanted to sell us a $10,000 furnace. In short this company is worth calling.

From my first phone call - with Darlene - my experience with H2C was so reassuring. My sixth phone call the morning my furnace died. And the outside temperature was -20 degrees.
Jack was here by 2 pm, diagnosed the problem (fan), left with the old fan, ordered a new one, and returned at 8 am two days later. Great service, quality work. Thank you.
PS. And I was a new customer! I’ll be calling H2C again. -
We hired H2C to come out and remove and reinstall our water heater, water softener and furnace last year during a remodel in May. Everything went fine and they were on time, everything went back in without a hitch and we were very pleased.
Fast forward a few months and we went to replace our whole house humidifier filter, and the drain tube for the humidifier snapped off. Come to find out, the tech put a hose clamp on the drain spud. Normally this would be a perfectly fine thing to do if the hose isn't staying on, as long as you don't crank the clamp down as much as you can. Well the tech did and the end of the drain tube was now deformed and stuck in the end of the hose.
My wife and I checked pictures that we had taken before and after and noticed that the clamp was not there before.
When we called to see if they would cover replacing it since their tech cranked it down in the first place and broke it, we were met with "we'll call you later on this" with no call, and then through a text message which took 6 days to get back to us, "we cannot take responsibility for old existing equipment, we would be happy to help you out with the repair, however it will be chargeable, but we will not charge you a trip charge"
Unhappy with this response, Pete the President of the company called finally. He stated that he would have to charge us for the time. I tried to tell him that since his employee broke it, he should cover all of it. He refused and then offered to cover the part too (which is only $11 on Amazon for an OEM Aprilaire drain spud). He said that he would go half on the trip charge. Now if this was any other kind of situation, I can be reasonable and accept things that may be unfair. However, once I got home and inspected the spud myself and realized that I could have the whole thing fixed in under 2 minutes, I realized at what complete BS this is. $45 normally for a tech to come out, now $22.50 to replace an $11 part, that I can do myself, but shouldn't have to since his tech broke it in the first place?!?!?
I understand people need to make money. I don't expect a free ride in life. However, when an employee of a company breaks something and then you don't take responsibility for it is deplorable. The Twin cities need to know that H2C does not take responsibility for their employees actions, and because of that...avoid this place like the plague. I hope it was worth the $11 Pete, because reviews speak louder than actions. -
Pete responded immediately to our call about a leaking water heater. We had a quote from another company and told by them that we also had a bad water softener.
When Pete came, he recommended a heater and also inspected the softener. The quote was fair and he told us that the softener was working perfectly.
The work was completed in just a few days. Pete was very professional, considerate and neat.
We would recommend Pete and H2C for any HVAC or plumbing needs that you have.

The H2C team did an excellent job of installing the new furnace and a/c. Both the furnace and the a/c are much quieter than the old units. In addition, they took great care of the spaces around them that they worked in and cleaned thoroughly before they left. Even our plants next to the new a/c unit were untouched. So appreciate their high level of skills and care to our space! Thank you!
