My elderly veteran neighbor called me at 1 am, on the coldest night of the year so far. To let me know her furnace stop working 3 hours ago. I started calling 24/7 companies, to find out after providing all my info, and filling up a questionary, they could not cone until later next morning. I was lucky enough to find Sensible heating and air conditioning. I called, and the technician just asked me for the address. He arrived within 20 min, at 1:10 am! He fixed yhe furnace within 20 minutes. My elderly neighbor are safe and warm. Thank you!!!

-6 outside and no heat in the house is never a fun way to wake up, but Elliott, the owner of Sensible Heating and Air Conditioning, was responsive (literally showed up within 15 minutes of our call), was clear about the expected price of the service, and had us setup with a solution 45 minutes after we called. He explained the root of the issue clearly and answered all of our questions so we feel prepared if a similar issue arises in the future. $100 and 1 hour later, I’m sitting in a much warmer house. Happy to have found our go-to place in the neighborhood!

I called Sensible late one evening when I discovering a strange odor coming from my furnace. Elliott answered immediately, gave (and beat!) and estimate for how long it would take him to come out, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He provided a clear explanation of the issue and potential ways to address it, from warranty claims up to full furnace replacement. He quoted out options at good prices, didn't try to upsell unnecessary equipment, and was very responsive to my timing concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sensible to others.

We had two rooftop AC units that weren’t cooling properly at our Champion Plumbing warehouse, so we called Elliott at Sensible Heating & Cooling. Luckily, he was able to come out the same day! With five rooftop units, we weren’t sure what was going on—but Elliott quickly diagnosed the issue. Turns out, the units were choked with cottonwood and construction dust from nearby demolition. We had already replaced the filters, thinking that would help, but the buildup was so thick the units couldn’t breathe.

We had a great experience. Elliot was over to take a look at my radiant heating system within minutes of our initial call. We needed a new boiler and wanted to replace our 23 year-old water heater at the same time.

Elliot answered all of my questions and concerns about the upgrade and they repiped a lot of the previous homeowners DIY work giving me back a considerable amount of space in my basement. The whole project was done in a day and organized very well with removal of the old units, delivery of the new ones, and required electrician and plumbers coming and going like clockwork.

With such a large expense, we shopped around other contractors and Sensible came in with the option that was most affordable, energy efficient, and didn't require any new drastic changes to our space or require additional venting through the exterior.

I'm relieved to no longer worry about the heat going out and the constant maintenance I was having to perform on my old system.

Elliott is very knowledgeable, our 98 year old boiler busted a leak. Was give 2 opitions for replacement and each was explained well. Very happy with the installation and the professionalism.
