Came into work to a flooded room caused by a leaking ceiling! Not the first thing you'd like to see on a Monday morning! We contacted Restoration Professionals who came right out, gave a us a reasonable pricing and then cleaned up, fixed the issues which caused the leaking ceiling! Great pricing, professional services done right to begin with with! I would highly recommend! A++

RestrPro rescued our mid-century modern home after an appliance fire caused significant damage. They helped us work through the insurance process and then became our general contractor. Their deep bench of remodelers did most of the work, but they also drew on outside experts when it was needed. And even in this tight labor market, RestPro got our job done and with a few weeks to spare. We are so impressed with this team and the total restoration of our home! Thank you RestPro!!

Initial meet and greet was great. The owner was very nice and answered all my questions. Then when I called back a few days later to find out when work would begin and I was told I'd get a call back. Never happened. Sent another message, no response. My wife called in, finally got a hold of someone. She was told she'd be called back and then we were when they did, we were told they don't work with a conpcom that wasn't even our insurance. I once again called back to get some clarification, left a voicemail, and again no call back. I can't say anything about their work, but their communication and customer service is horrible. Thanks for wasting 3 weeks of our time.

My basement flooded this spring and because I used RestPro in the past I called them right away. It was a very busy/rainy day (4/27/14) but they were at our house quickly and were able to get all the water up and carpet out in only a few hours. Because of their quick response we didnt have to replace the sheet rock and trim/woodwork. There was great communication with them. Tim has a lot of contacts and was able to get us some good deals on new carpet, duct/vent cleaning, etc. I hope I dont have any water or fire damage again but if I do I would call RestPro first thing.

I'm going to skip all of the detailed horror stories that went along with our experience with this company and try to sum it up. After our house had a fire in the kitchen, we hired Rest Pro because they claimed a 2-month turn around time until we could be back into our home. It took 5 months. There was absolutely no communication. They acted like we were the last job in the world that they cared about, and always mentioned other jobs they had going as if they were way too busy to deal with us. Our house sat un-attended for nearly a month after permits cleared before they even stepped foot into it. There was sometimes 4-levels of sub-contracting going on and we never knew who to contact.
I'll sum it up with this. Very un-professional. Very poor quality work (floors and drywall had to be re-done). No communication. These guys take on 5 times more work than they can handle and do the jobs poorly instead of doing a few jobs at a time and doing it right. HIRE SOMEONE ELSE! -
Call Servepro for water and fire. Save your self. Do not hire these guys.
I have the same experience as the person below these guys are terrible. Please do not let them assign a Harry as your project manager.
No communication at all. Some days no one will show up or if they do they will be three hours late.
Even when they do show up they will install the wrong part, paint the wrong color, forget their tools, etc. Full of excuses and no follow up.
My project took 8 months and is still not finished.
When working with contractors it is important to have a good manager with good communication and leadership skills. they will meet none of these requirements. -
Had some septic backup in our basement. Called Restpro at 3am in the morning and got a live operator. Nick called me at 7am and set a time to stop by. Was right on time, courteous and extremely thorough. Spent about 30min assessing and determining that we actually did not need any further work. No charge for the visit and tests. Will definitely call them for all our future needs.

I made a huge mistake when I hired these guys in August of 2018 after the owner gave me a great sales pitch about their work doing fire restorations in the twin cities. I called them for an estimate shortly after one of the sober houses I run had a vapor fire in the basement of a home on the east side of Saint Paul. They dragged out the project for over four months with a poorly trained crew of construction workers. The crew appeared to be confused and disorganized and the quality of the work they did was substandard. The crew leader failed to complete the repairs that they billed me for. So I had a major dispute with them for billing work they didn't bother to do. Because they were unable to follow the scope of work their estimator laid out in the contract I signed with them. To add insult to injury the painting they did do in the basement is peeling off just a year later. Obviously their incompetent in not using the correct primer on the ceilings and walls. They are the worst contractors I have worked with in 30 years of managing 10 sober homes in the Twin Cities. If you want a company that delivers adequate work in a timely manner without over billing look elsewhere.

A Team of four from Restoration Professionals were in my house within an hour after I called about a leak in my ceiling. The entire ceiling had to be replaced because of asbestos. They also found a second leak just before the ceiling was to be replaced which would have been horrible if they went ahead with the ceiling. I opted to have some lights put in since the ceiling was open. RestPro smoothly managed all the trades, i.e., electrician, painter, drywall, etc to put my house back together. If I had a small issue with something they dealt with it right away saying we "just want to make you happy". The people they used were top notch. I could not have managed this on my own. Trying to hire this work on my own would have taken much longer and it would not have gone as well as RestPro. I'm grateful for they were there for me.

I was referred to Restoration Professionals after a washer leak flooded part of my second floor and came through my ceiling onto my main floor. They did a great job of drying my place out, packing me out, repairing the carpet and redoing the entire ceiling. They went way beyond when it came to service. Everyone was really great. Mosha, Paul, Trevor, Jose, Jack and everyone else that assisted, a big thank you! ( I don't remember everyone's names) I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who may need disaster help, large or small!

We had an apartment that had flooded on the weekend when the residents were out of town. The water was reported by someone who saw it almost halfway down the hall. All of the locker rooms had water in them and the apartment itself had to have all the belongings taken out by Restoration Professionals and dried at a facility. They worked with the residents insureance company and us and the treated the residents with respect and dignity. They basically took up all the carpet from under their belongings at first and dried out the structure, when the residents came back they helped them with their belongings and then everything had to be taken out including all the sheet rock. They worked to get the job done as fast as possible so the residents could move back in. They removed padding and shampooed the hall carpet and sucked out the water and sanitzed the locker area. They were beyond great to work with!

The Restoration Pros came to our home in Cottage Grove for air ducts/vent cleaning. I was impressed with the professionalism of the company and the care they took in their work. They protected corners of the house so the hoses wouldn’t chip paint. They also covered the flooring under their hoses to avoid leaving a mess. I would hire them again....very impressed!!

We had a very good experience working with rest pro after our basement flooded. They came out late at night and stayed into the night to mitigate our flood damage! Thankfully they also knew how to fight with the insurance company and get all the required work covered 100%! Having an experienced company like restoration professionals handle everything saved us time and money in the long run. Their contractors worked with us to figure out what we wanted and then get all the workers lined up to perform their part of the job as needed. This would have required a TON of work on our part if we didn’t work with a contractor. These guys actually show up to do the work and they do it well!

I called this company when a small amount of water seeped into the basement of my rental property. The worker set up a dehumidifier to help with the situation. The amount of water continued to expand in the basement. The worker came back and it was discovered the dehumidifier was actually leaking causing it to drain the water it was pulling from the environment onto the floor. The equipment was removed and I was left with a damaged floor. I filed my complaint with the company only to be basically told that did not occur and likely my renter had lied about the situation despite the fact I spoke to the worker as well. I disputed my bill due to the damage. I was expected to pay in full even though the amount was significantly lower than the cost to repair my floor. I asked to speak to the owner of the company. Instead of attempting to seek a fair solution in a professional manner they put me into collections. A mistake was made and instead of handling in an appropriate manner I was treated poorly and they damaged my credit score. I have never had an unpaid bill in my life so this was in no way an attempt to get away with not paying for a service. I simply did not find it fair I should be expected to pay for a service which caused further damage to my home.

The upstairs neighbor flooded and in turn flooded us. So this business was amazing drying out our bathroom and hallway. fixing and repainting the bathroom. recarpeting the hallway and living room. They did so much and were friendly and attentive while doing it. I recommend them to anyone. Full stop. Thank you so much guys.

We had a great experience with Restoration Professionals. From initial emergency response, to providing estimates and working with our insurance, to project management and packing and handling our things, they were professional, efficient and considerate. They made a difficult situation bearable by leading us through it.

I use RestPro to do all my carpet and floor cleaning needs! I have seen many other carpet cleaning companies in my life and NEVER were they EVER close to being as good as Restoration Professionals! I have been loyal to them for the past 4 1/2 years in my property management position. They have been able to remove stains that have sat in carpet for 2+ years! Seriously they are the best and Jennifer in scheduling is just as awesome!

This company was fantastic when it came to setting up carpet cleaning and VCT tile strip and wax for our property. Jennifer was extremely professional and very helpful through the whole process. She has been extremely responsive and is always available when you call her and paid close attention to details about the security of our building and they have always completed their work to a high level of satisfaction!

This company is above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. They took on my home plumbing catastrophe before I could even stop to panic and stress. They were fair, up front and very transparent and worth every penny I paid. Great trustworthy company to give your business to. Tim, the owner is a true professional.

Restoration Professionals exceeded my expectations!
I had a major flood for 2 days in my basement and they were the first ones to respond to my call for help. Not only was I reassured that everything would be fine; the water techs Josh and Matt quickly worked to remove the nearly 3in deep water, they explained my options for fast removal of my personal items and Josh took full control of the situation, getting the right people over to the house to help.
I was very impressed with the level of service, professionalism and all around greatness of the people that have continued to help even after the water was removed, but especially the two water removal guys!!
I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of water removal or any restoration project. They are a local company doing a great job helping others in their time of need. -
I had damage from ice dams this winter and was looking for options to have the damage repaired and reached out to restpro. After 2 weeks of no calls back they finally sent a person out to give an estimate and then two weeks past when they came out so I reached out to get the estimate. I was told he wasn’t really an estimator and he lost all of the info from our meeting at the house. After another week they scheduled the “estimator” “Lloyd” to come out. He didn’t show up for the appointment via no call no show. Then Lloyd comes out a week later and says he’s doing some sort of electronic estimate, never reaches back out. I call the office on Monday a week after the estimate appointment and ask to speak with a manager and was told they would call the next day. So I wait 3 more days and call asking to speak with a manager and not to Lloyd and they immediately transfer me to Lloyd who tells me to “stop harassing his staff” 🤣🤣🤣. He then tells me to find another company. To recap it’s taken 2 months to get a bid from this company. They have zero organizational structure to keep track of what they’re doing. I’ve never worked with a less professional company and I have worked with some bad ones. It’s unbelievable how unprofessional this experience was. Godspeed to anyone that actually hires them to do anything.
