Jonick worked on a roofing project for me last summer. John and Joseph both took care to walk through the project with me before, during, and after the project. My project was complicated as it was connecting an old and new build and they problem solved with me and worked around a number of complications. The crew that came out and did the roof was great as well. After a year of lots of rain, the roof is holding up great. They also helped navigate a number of insurance issues that came up. I couldn't be happier with the service and support I received.

This is the first time we have used JoNick Construction. It is also the first time I can remember not having any complaints about a contractor after a job!

Jon was very attentive to what we wanted in a deck and helped us get it. In fact he firmly, but professionally, guided us away from using brown treated wood to cedar and we are very happy with the results.

The crew was really nice and helpful. They took care of some debris I had while they demoed the old deck and even put packages we received in the garbage some we were away most of the time they were building the deck. The work area looks good and was cleaned up well.

They were instrumental in working through the insurance claim and invoicing process for our roof, which was fully replaced due to hail damage. Jon communicated with appropriate details during the entire project and even bumped up the schedule of our job to accommodate a potential home sale. We are in love with our deck and the quality is outstanding! There was a small imperfection and I reached out to ask how WE could fix it. Next day, someone was here to fix it. They were also very responsive even after the deck was finished when I had questions about care (because I have no idea what I'm doing.) Overall, great people, hard workers (even in 98degree heat) and honest from start to finish.

I had hail damage on an old roof that I was sure insurance wouldn’t cover but Joseph worked directly with them and as a result my claim was accepted. Jon, Nick and Brian and his crew were really great to work with. Everything was completed in a timely manner and my new roof and gutters are beautiful! We had JoNick install a new roof and gutters recently. We found everyone from Joseph (the salesman) to Alex (job site manager) to Jon (owner) to be professional, friendly, and very pleasant to work with - plus they delivered quality work and a quality product. They also left our yard as clean as they found it. From our experience, we can confidently recommend them - and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

Joseph from JoNick Construction stopped by my house on an early summer afternoon and asked about our roof. I let him know that insurance already declined us for hail and wind damage. We have someone stop by asking about our roof maybe once a week in the warmer seasons… for some reason I was open to listening to Joseph more so and also knew we really needed a new roof! He mentioned that I could file a new claim since there’s been a more recent storm and asked if he could go up and look, I said, for sure! He offered to come back and meet the adjuster after I called insurance while he was still over and filed a new claim. From there the process was smooth. Jon came to discuss further planning and we set a date. He worked with my Insurance adjuster directly to make edits to the claim.

Their team was efficient and professional and I’d recommend them to any neighbor, friend or loved one!

From start to finish, our project was a very positive experience. Our existing deck, which I built 30 years ago, was in need of a complete refurbishing. Jon was very prompt and responsive during the estimate process. No pressure was applied to do any unnecessary work.
When Nick & the construction crew got here, they completed the demolition of the old decking in half a day. Three of the existing rim joists needed replacement, but the rest of the infrastructure was sound.
The entire deck was completed in a week. The crew was very skilled and pleasant to deal with, even in the brutal heat. Nick was terrific at clarifying the inevitable questions that arise during this type of project.
Jon was able to bump us up about a month, which was very much appreciated.
I am delighted to recommend JoNick Construction to anyone.

My wife and I were quite late to deciding to add a deck before the winter fully hit and, despite several other bids, JoNick worked with me to meet our budget and exuded a professionalism that no other bidder did. Needless to say the choice was a no brainer. The work went quickly and the quality has been great. With that being said, it is now full-on winter and we haven't gotten to explore the deck fully but I have zero doubt we will continue to sing ithe deck's (and, obviously JoNick's) praises come spring!

I have been searching for a contractor since last year to redeck my old 17 year old deck. Unfortunately no one would come out to even bid or at times even respond until I found JoNick Construction. They responded to my request within a day, came out within a week, got me an estimate within a couple days, I signed and we were ready to go. Luckily for me, the weather this spring has been great and they were able to demolish the old boards and install new decking way before the originally estimated timeframe. I am very happy with it, it is great quality, the crew was wonderful and left everything clean. I highly recommend JoNick Construction.

I was ready to give up on my quest of finding a responsive contractor for the restoration work that I needed performed on our front porch, one that could do it at a reasonable price, and one that could get it done in the time-frame that I had in mind. In a random last-ditch effort, I contacted John from JoNick Construction after performing a query on Craigslist, and my search was over!

Not only did John respond quickly and with great detail, but after simply sending him a few photos of the project that I had in mind (then answering a few clarifying questions) John had a price for me that was well below the competition and we promptly had the work penciled in for the following week!

From the time that I first contacted John and the time that his brother Nick and the crew finished up our project was exactly 1 week (including the Labor Day holiday, only 6 days) and was considerably under what other contractors had been quoting me for similar work! Nick and the rest of the crew were all extremely respectful through the entire process, and we could not be happier with the finished product.

I had a wonderful experience working with JoNick Construction. Jon took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Nick and the crew did an amazing job replacing my home’s siding and wrapping the trim. I am very pleased with the transformation.

I worked with JoNick on an insurance claim for hail damage that covered roof and siding replacement. Jon was great to work with through the whole process and communicated directly with my insurance company to work out cost differences, which I really appreciated! It took one thing off my plate which is always helpful. Nick and crew that did the siding were fantastic - we talked clear expectations and they worked really hard to get the work done in a timely manner. The roof for both my garage and home were completed in less than 2 full days so those guys definitely worked hard as well. Super happy with the work and would recommend JoNick for your next project.

Jon & his team added a deck to our home this fall in just 4 days! They were unbelievably easy to work with, accommodating, & delivered a beautiful finished product. I cannot say enough about Red Cross Construction. I was introduced to them by my neighbor who noticed hail damage while cleaning out my rain gutters. I made one call and from then on everything was handled...and I mean EVERYTHING. My insurance company was not easy to work with and dealing with them was a huge headache. Missy was knowledgeable about the project and claims and handled them expertly. Mike was on site for every inspection and was a terrific advocate for me. When the adjusters drug their feet, Missy kept them on task and did not allow any deadline to pass without and extension being granted. I cannot describe how disappointed I am with my insurance company nor how incredibly grateful I am to have Missy from Red Cross handling the claim for me. She knows everything about the process and is a fantastic and relentless ally.

Outside of that enormous and unnecessary inconvenience, the work that Mike did to my house is perfection. I have a new roof and siding and Mike went out of his way to show me options and ideas as he wanted to make sure that I was happy. He fixed several issues that I did not know existed in the roof and walls of the home that were left over from previous work. He also built a new deck for me and I could not love it more...far superior to the old one. I have a brand new house and I really could not be more pleased....I have never worked with a company that delivered on service like Red Cross Construction. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
