JoshK.’s team (including Nick S. and others) was great to work with. They were friendly, communicative, and flexible. The project just wrapped, so I cannot speak to longevity, but initial impressions are great. I would be happy to have him and his team do other projects in the future.

Separately, I wish the office-based/sales team was better to work with. Their initial assessment of the project fell short and additional work was only identified after Josh’s team started the project. When photos were shared, it was clear that this issue should have been obvious to a trained eye. This Miss limited our ability to get competitive bids and added thousands to our bill. Looking back, when I made my initial call I was told there would be a 2hr inspection. That did not occur, which is why the work was missed. When a third issue was identified by Josh’s team (so thankful he brought it to my attention!) the sales team said they would come out to inspect with a camera, but that also didn’t happen.

If it weren’t for Josh’s team I would be completely unaware of these major problems with our chimney. I’m thankful for his communication and integrity. I wish I could say the same for the other side of the team.

Ryan was amazing. He was here for two hours and initially he thought he was going to have to come back, but he got the job done. He discovered some wires that had been installed incorrectly and saved me a lot of money. I gave him a good tip. You guys should definitely keep this guy.

Hal met with us to give us information on a wood insert. He was very thorough and answered all our questions.

Chimney Doctors both rebuilt our external chimneys and just installed a gas insert in our living room. The staff that did initial contact were excellent and really did a deep dive into our complex house. Ben A is superb. The masonary staff from last summers work were excellent, on time, neat and communicated well.
The crew that did the gas insert, Ross, Angel and Dalton were very professional, on time, neat and cleaned up . The custom piece we needed for the install was done beautifully as well. Overalll very happy experience . Tom H

Trace he was so wonderful. You could really tell he knew what he was talking about. Super, kind and nice guy. He was so helpful when explaining the problems and the solutions as while as what all needed to be done. I honestly love this company they have been so responsive and kind to me even when I would call to ask a question. Like in an about an hour I’d get a call back. You can really tell these people love their job. I will 100% hands down be using this company again if I have a chimney problems. I will also be recommending them to others. Even my realtor was impressed with how trace conducted business. I wish I knew the lady I spoke with over the phone so I could give her props too.🩷

Signed up for an inspection at the State Fair. Today Ryan came and performed a thorough inspection on our chimney and related areas. Super informative and well worth the time. We will definitely need some work done in the near future.

Trace was extremely knowledgeable and did a very thorough job giving us an itemized estimate and explaining the why behind each part of the project.

Recently needed a 20 year old chimney chase cap replaced and settled on Chimney Doctors to do the work, largely due to the confidence that Ryan McGonigal inspired during the initial inspection and estimate visit to our house in Savage. The result was a beautifully installed cap by Josh Kryzer and his partner, Nick.
