We worked with Hal last fall and again in the spring. He was very personable and took the time to explain options without coming off as pushy.

I was extremely happy with the professionalism and service. Peter came to the house and walk me through 2 options, cost and financing. I decided to delete my chimney. Victor and crew showed up and staged (with careful attention to and the gardens and plants) they did an amazing job, finished in a day and on-budget. I have a small property management company in the Twin Cities and deal with vendors frequently, Highly recommend Chimney Doctors if you need a rebuild or delete.

Mr. Lord, was very professional and I really learned a lot today about chimney Care and structure. We’ve decided to go with them on our repairs and updating our chimney. I’ve been looking forward to working with them and Mr. Lord in the future can’t wait to see our results. very exiting here are before photo. Will it be up dating it very soon.

Ryan at Chimney Doctors of St. Paul is amazing- I don't think I can fully state how helpful, professional, informative, and ethical he was in assessing the repairs I needed. There were no attempts made at unnecessary up-sales on his part, which was extremely refreshing.

He went far beyond my expectations and even made some minor repairs at no cost to get me by until a more thorough repair can be done. I'd like to add that he did all of this in the rain, no less.

If Ryan is the norm at Chimney Doctors of St. Paul, then I don't think you can go wrong hiring them. I'd give Chimney Doctors 5 stars, and Ryan 6 stars if it was possible.

We had Ryan come out and inspect our chimney after we noticed a leak shortly after moving into our new home. Not only was he professional and prompt in his communication about when he would arrive, but he did a great job explaining what was going on with visual documentation in his estimate. We also appreciated that the Chimney Doctors provide payment plans, which will be helpful due to this unexpected cost.

We had Ryan McGonigal out to get an estimate on a new gas fireplace and chimney topper and he was very thorough in his review with us. He show us pictures and videos of products and we were quite impressed with everything and chose Chimney Doctors for our project. We are looking forward to the end result! Thank you!

We originally reached out to Chimney Doctors to quote a repair on our old furnace chimney but have since decided to investigate a tear down instead, when we replace our roofing tiles. Ryan came out and talked through our existing setup, helping us understand that the chimney was originally installed as a coal burning chimney, had at one point been used to vent a subsequent heating system, but now is disconnected from our modern, high efficiency heating systems. His friendly and knowledgeable approach helps us know we’re making an informed decision. Overall, Chimney Doctors were very easy to engage, they have a responsive office that utilizes texts and emails to coordinate appointments, and I received updates on the estimated arrival time by both the office and Ryan - all of which were greatly appreciated when scheduling!

Peter was straight forward, very good communicator and provided pictures of the chimney issues to help me understand the repairs needing to be done.
6/5/2025: It’s not often that you get a team that is as synchronized as this group from ChimneyD. Grant, Joey, Mkray and Edwin did a superb job. 5 plus stars for them all. They were all courteous, communicative and lazer focused on their task. Our 60 year old chimney and fireplace is ready for another 60 years.

Great company - we used Chimney Doctors for the first time this year. Ryan, our technician, was on time, had a charming personality, explained everything and was very clean. He even had to clean a bird from our chimney and did it with great care. Great guy - great company! Highly recommended!

Over the last week we had the Chimney Doctors come out to replace our chimney, their team was led by Jorge. They completed what was expected to be a 4 day project in 3.5, the whole team was very thorough in the process.

Note- our roofers are doing the flashing on the chimney hence the plastic wrap in the photo.

Their little chat bot was adorable, the sales pro was kind and servicey-not-salesy, and when the poor installers had two straight days of rain, they cheerfully set us up with a generator and a hotel room for the evening. Chimney Doctors did a great tear out & replacement of my large fireplace exterior chase top. From Hal’s explanation 3 weeks ago of options & measurements of what would need to be fabricated in stainless steel and now today’s all important installation with Team Grant & Jordan, very happy with the quality of employees @ The Chimney Doctors of Burnsville. Even suggested I stop at their shop the day before install to take a look at what Joe had fabricated in-house. A very good company to deal with for this important home project. Their use of a boom with ground anchors made it very safe and with no damage to the landscaping. Thanks again Chimney Doctors. Dom L.

Ryan McGonigal was my technician. He was very polite, very prompt, very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and Chimney Doctors!

Hal did a great job cleaning and inspecting our fireplace and chimney. This was the second time that we worked with Hal. He was thorough, friendly and efficient!

Ryan was very knowledgeable with regards to the issue we were having. He presented a reasonable plan and was able to timely schedule our chimney repair. I would recommend your company to anybody who required chimney services.

Peter came out and did a thorough inspection, took his time to show me everything he found along with pictures and answered all my questions. He gave me different estimates for different options and what his recommendations would be. It was a very good experience.

Trace Henault was extremely thorough. He was at our house for 4.5 hours. Took pictures explained everything As he was looking at our three chimneys, boiler, hot water heater etc. I have had three other chimney companies come by to evaluate our chimneys. By far Trace Henault was hands down was the most comprehensive and thorough evaluation of our chimneys I’ve ever had.

Peter L. Was super nice and personable. He appeared to be skilled and efficient, and explained was he saw and what needed to be done with our fireplace. We definitely recommend Chimney Doctors to anyone.
