I was having some trouble with temp and pressure after a new valve was installed in my shower head hardware. Dan from Gray Duck carefully worked the problem until he found a solution. He was great.

Gray Duck Plumbing is the best. Dan went above and beyond to help me get a terrific outcome, was professional, punctual, kind, and did a fantastic job. Strongly recommend.

We live in a 1948 house and recently had an outdoor spigot and shut-off value issue.

Daniel was prompt, explained really clearly, and problem solved offering multiple solutions for us to choose from within our budget. Daniel gave a heads up regarding several other potentially problematic areas in the basement maze of pipes.

Woke up Sunday to a wet laundry room floor and saw my water heater had decided to drain a bit through the bottom. I reached out to Gray duck they responded same day. Give me a fair and transparent quote and we scheduled for a replacement on Wednesday. Wednesday morning the repair technician showed up very kind and courteous and before lunchtime I had a new water heater

The whole experience was swift, friendly and transparent. The bonus is they are woman owned company! Got gray duck? You should!!

Great people. Not so great prices.

Got charged over $700 for a non-emergency kitchen faucet replacement that only took 2.5 hours. I get that there are overhead costs and other factors that can affect price, but no matter how you cut it, this is on the high end of things. We supplied the faucet, so that wasn't included in the price either.

Edit after business response: I'm updating my review from 3 stars to 1 star after seeing Gray Duck's response to my review. They claim that "for $69 we spent hours looking at several other plumbing issues". They did look at several issues so that we could get quotes on these issues, but it took less than an hour to look at these issues. Then they spent 1.5-2 hours replacing the kitchen faucet. In the end, they were at our place for about 2.5 hours (as stated in my original review). We decided to not use their services for the other issues because of the exorbitant costs but felt that we should have the faucet replaced soon rather than waiting several days for a different plumber to make it out. It also didn't help that if we decided to pass on their services, they were going to charge us over $100 simply for coming out, so I guess we fell victim to the sunk cost fallacy.

Tina saved me from a disaster of a situation. What started as a water heater replacement turned into a monster of a project because of previous installation jobs done by other companies having been poorly executed. Tina and Dan are both incredible at their trade but also very kind individuals. They will be honest and up-front about the situation, even when it is NOT pretty.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the plumbers at Gray Duck, especially Tina, I have not only a new water heater but also safe gas lines and venting attached to water heater and furnace.

I am a repeat customer for a reason. Gray Duck has high standards of work as well as customer service. If you are on the fence about hiring them, know that I recommend them to my own friends and family as well as strangers on the internet.

Excellent! Tina replaced the kitchen and bathroom faucets, explaining everything very patiently (to this inexperienced customer), and cleaned up the work areas. She even threw in repairing a leaking garbage disposal. Pricing was right and the timing perfect. I'll be hiring Gray Duck for all of my future plumbing needs.

At a particularly hectic time (after -20 degree weather) we had pipes freeze. One call into GrayDuck's office and I had a call back within 15 minutes with some trouble shooting ideas and the offer to call the plumber back directly if that failed. It failed, and I got right through and was given guidance about what to do until they could make it to our house. It was just one bathroom affected, so they came f ew days later. Dan was thorough in his investigation and very easy to understand offering options and assurance we would get it taken care of and hope, but honesty about what to expect. We had another issue with a small gas smell - he took care of that as well!

Luckily his diagnosis was accurate and the fix completed with all systems running. He left his direct contact info if anything came up or we had questions. Great experience with a tough issue!

Gray Duck Plumbing came recommended to me from a friend, and I'm so glad that I contacted them. Tina was so knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and walked through my situation and different potential solutions. The price was good for the amount (and urgency) of work; I wish I had connected with them sooner!

I was referred by a friend to use Gray Duck, and I'm so glad I took their recommendation. Fantastic experience all around. From receiving a confirmation phone call within minutes of submitting my request to prompt, efficient, and friendly service. I needed my main water valves updated and sump pump repaired. Dan helped explain all my options, gave recommendations, and fully explained the process. Pricing was fully upfront and less than what I had anticipated spending! When the work was done, he also helped give me information on a few other plumbing items I would need and is helping connect me with additional resources for work outside the scope of their company.

I greatly appreciate all the company stands for and I feel great about using their services. 5/5 stars. 100% recommend and will use again.

Highly recommend Gray Duck Plumbing! I was having issues with my water heater at my office. They were able to come out and diagnose my issue needing a new one. They had very clear communication throughout and excellent customer service. I really enjoyed working with them and will in the future when I need services.

Enjoyed working with both Tina and Dan (and apprentice Jackson) for a plumbing project at our home. They were responsive and communicative through scheduling and service. I appreciated their emphasis on education — they made sure I knew what they were doing and why, and gave many tips on upkeep for the other elements of our home’s plumbing. Will gladly work with them again in the future.

Danny, Dan, and Jackson were fantastic to work with! When Danny came out to check my leaking water heater, he was upfront and direct with what the issue was and what needed to get fixed. They promptly got me on the schedule that week for a replacement. On the day of the replacement, they were on time, explained the job, and answered all of my questions. They went above and beyond and I highly recommend contacting Gray Duck for any plumbing needs!

I also had a shutoff valve replaced.
Tina had good advice about the type of faucet to get and an amazing apprentice replaced the faucet perfectly.

I had Gray Duck Plumbing come out to help with my house twice, and both times were fantastic. I don't remember the names of the two people unfortunately, but both were fantastic. They went above and beyond in helping out and repairing everything that was going on. The first visit was for replacing my bathtub faucet and shower head, which...was a lot more complex than I was expecting. They helped out and explained everything based on what was going on, answering every problem and going very in-depth with the issues.
The second time was for a surprise leak on NYE, and I had no clue where it came from. They were able to come out same day for a house call, checked EVERYTHING in the house, and were able to both explain what the problem was and fix it quickly. I was anxious trying to find a plumber given trust issues and being talked down to, but that never happened. Definitely love Gray Duck Plumbing and am planning on working with them whenever I need help. Recommend you do too!

62 year old house w copper plumbing. Noticed a continuous “slow-water” drip running down the plumbing stack and pooling on the basement floor. The stack connects 3 bathrooms, one on the first floor and 2 on the second.

Dan and Tina found one leak in the main 2nd floor bathroom, but suspected others due the leaks location. After working through the knowns and assessing the “unknowns” they drafted options for me to consider. I settled on a complete 2nd floor bathroom remodel, and to re-plumb the adjoining master bathroom. This turned out to be a good decision since additional leaks were discovered as they suspected.

I hired Gray Duck to perform three phases: 1) the demo…remove the tub, sub floor and walls 2) add new plumbing lines to include…water & drain lines / toilet seat stack /and a new stack down to the basement 3) rebuild the sub floor, repair the wall that was accessed to replace the plumbing stack from the 2nd floor to basement and connect the new fixtures after the tile was complete. It was a big job, and I was very pleased with all the work!

Previously I had done several smaller jobs with gray Duck and was always pleased with the outcome. This was the first big job with them and it turned out great.

They are excellent plumbers and I found them easy to work regarding scheduling the work; and paying them as the work progressed.

I would highly recommend them
