I've used Norblom many times, from my water heater to my kitchen sink. Recently I urgently needed an old gas line removed to prevent a delay in my foundation repair project. One of Norblom's plumbers was able to make time to come out and do the job promptly and for a very reasonable price. Very grateful for the years of service from Norblom!

The problem was fixed (the only reason this isn’t a 1 star review) but I still feel disappointed and scammed by this company. After paying for a diagnostic appointment, they provided two vastly different estimates to fix the low pressure problem - to either replace all the pipes ($10k) or check the stops ($700). We opted for the more affordable option and thank god we did because when they came back a month later, after the plumbers returned from a strike, turns out the fix wasn’t at all what they estimated - it was merely turning a knob! They still required the full amount due despite the fact what they actually did to fix the problem was not what they said was needed to be done in the estimate. After several calls over three weeks they emailed us an invoice for a $100 refund - no phone call to notify or explain.

**Edit: our warranty company did not require a quote, just a verbal diagnosis of the problem, and it was not covered by the warranty company so we paid out of pocket**

I had a great experience with Norblom replacing an old hot water heater. We had a quote from another plumber with options ranging from twice as expensive to at least 10 times as expensive. The other plumber tried to sell us on a bunch of extras. Then we called Norblom, and Norblom was straightforward with us, reasonably priced, and did great work. I recommend them.

Couldn't be more happy to share this 5-star review. Norblom completed the plumbing work for a master bathroom and basement finish. From the initial consultation, they were on time, professional, and always responsive. During the project they were also extremely fair managing scope additions to take care of some signs of aging in the basement pipes. While onsite, they worked through some nuances of the bath features we had picked out and the execution was amazing. Each day, we use our renovated spaces knowing that a leaking pipe or drain is not something we have to worry about given the quality workmanship and attention to detail. Norblom is the only plumber I will trust to call to complete any plumbing work in the future.

Today was the third time that I have used Norblom Plumbing. Stuart, the technician, quickly diagnosed the cause of the leak in my basement ceiling and repaired it within an hour. He thoroughly explained where the leak was coming from and potential reasons that it had occurred (and ways to prevent in the future). While he did have to open up a small part of the basement ceiling, he was very respectful of my home and put down drop cloths to contain the drywall debris. He did a spectacular job of cleaning up before he left. Would absolutely recommend Norblom Plumbing!

We had a leaking 30-year-old water heater that needed to be replaced. Michael Kostecky from Norblom came out right away and gave us a reasonable estimate. Michael's professionalism and apparent honesty and integrity gave us reason to trust our gut and just go ahead with Norblom without getting other estimates. That turned out to be a very wise decision because, in discussing a potential code issue with a stand-alone toilet in close proximity to the water heater area, our city's inspector informed us that Norblom would be his choice because of their solid reputation. Michael returned just a couple days later to install a new Rheem water heater. He was here for less than two hours and by all accounts did excellent work. He also tolerated our barking mini schnauzers. We give Norblom a solid 5/5 stars.

Their team is wonderful. I have worked with trades for many years, but I can say they are some of the most friendly and professional people that I have dealt with. They came to my house a couple years back and gave me some advice that actually didn’t need their services. No charge! I just had them repair a laundry sink drain and install a new softener. They are friendly and fair priced. I highly recommend their services!

Thanks to plumber Stuart Kane who helped us through a couple of issues after a water heater installation in a 49 year old home. Stuart is a pleasant experienced guy who is methodical and thorough, and still gets things done quickly. He's also articulate and patient enough to explain things in consumer language, and tell us what we need to know going forward. Thanks!

Our utility faucet was dripping last month and the plumber came out with a new brass faucet that goes for about $50 retail, replaced it in less than an hour, told me to “find a drain guy” when asked to check the slow drain, and kept me standing in the basement for over 10 minutes as he tried to get me a bill. Would he respect my time and go upstairs where the signal was stronger, or simply text or email me once tech issues were resolved? He would not. And when I was concerned with the $400+ bill? He insisted they sent an estimate and left. Manager Mike later discovered an error and brought the bill down to $387, then said Norblom’s prices are better than their competitors. When I mentioned we always had fair prices with Bonfe, he insisted they would have charged double. That didn’t work for me, but for those who appreciate poor service, high prices and gaslighting? Highly recommended.

Norblom service was timely, professional, efficient. Great communication. Couldn't ask for more or better.

My dad thought he had a water heater problem. Turns out it was plumbing. I called Norblom and even though I was not very literate in the trades, they were able to work with me. Stuart was over within 30 minutes and fixed the problem in under an hour. Extremely polite, respectful and knowledgeable. The price was extremely reasonable. I wish I could give more than 5 starts. Out of this world service.

Just a quick review. We've used Norblom 2 or 3 times during the last several years (always a different issue). They've done great work, made good suggestions, and have been thoughtful to do only so much as is necessary. I'm sure with this 75 year old house we live in we'll have need for a plumber again, and Norblom will be who I call.

Norblom replaced our water heater right away when it started leaking and we had to shut the water off completely. They were extremely responsive, communicated well with us during the work, and did a great job.

They did our basement finish project with wet bar and full bath in 2020 and then in 2024 our primary bath remodel plus add on half bath. They are wonderful to work with. I wouldn't hire anyone else. Always promptly on time when they say they will show up, very good experienced plumbers. The plumbers knew the questions to ask especially for me who was DIYing most of these projects and chose to hire out plumbing. As someone with no experience in construction they were so helpful and knowledgeable. Came up with many great solutions to accommodate my desired floor plans. Very professional. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone.

Paul Norblom was one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. His work was professionally conducted and finished on time with quality.

I have used Norblom Plumbing several times over many years. My experience has always been very good (which is why I keep calling them). This time a very personable guy, Stuart, came to help me. He fixed my problem very quickly and did a great job. I appreciate that he explained everything and made sure I was satisfied before he left.

We called about getting a new water heater after the shock of an outrageously cold shower on a weekend. After a few pictures back and forth with Mike, we had a new water heater installed within days, and just below the estimated price. I wholeheartedly recommend Norblom as great, local and reliable plumbers.

I’ve used Norblom Plumbing a few times and highly recommend them. This past visit, Stuart came out and helped fix a loose faucet outside and also replaced the pipe which connects my sink to the wall. He was quick, explained why my attempts to fix it myself were doomed from the beginning, and offered advice for ongoing maintenance. Next time my plumbing is screwed up, I’ll definitely give Norblom a call.

We experienced a serious leak in our upstairs bathroom last night. I submitted an online service request at 9:10pm. I received a call around 7:50am this morning, I called back at 8am, and Todd arrived at 9:05am. Everything was professionally dealt with by 9:55am. It is such a huge sense of relief to know there is a company you can quickly count on after a stressful night cleaning up so much water. Thank you!
