They didn’t even try to help me . St. Paul sent me to Roseville. The guy who’s been there 30 years didn’t even get up off his seat.
Then told me they don’t sell parts .
What ? He could have sold me the body of what I needed and I could have taken the part I needed off of it . Lazy/incompetence.

Fixed a leak in my Sink in 1 hour at a low price. I would highly recommend them.

The gas line to our stove became blocked - only enough gas was coming through to light one burner on low. Norblom was our third call to get an opinion on a solution and they should have been our first call! Another plumber quoted us $5,000 to replace a majority of our gas piping. Norblom found the blockage (sediment from renovation work related to our dryer's gas line), removed the blockage and was done in less than 1.5 hours. Thank you!!! I can boil water again :)

Our much more than a century old plumbing has been providing us with mysterious leaks and disconcerting noises recently. We called Norblom expecting to schedule some estimates and repairs within a week, and instead have a repaired sink, drain, and suggested repairs for our remodel project two hours later. Chris, the plumber who came to our place, was prompt, efficient, happy to answer questions and offer a number of alternatives for addressing our old house plumbing concerns. We'll be calling Norblom for future plumbing work, and recommend them most highly - simply the tops.

These guys went above and beyond to help us out of a sort of complicated issue from a previous renovation (not done by them, or us) of our kitchen. We also had some repair work done on our dishwasher and they installed the water line to the new fridge. Very professional and it felt like you were dealing with people who really knew what they were doing which was great. We just wanted to leave this review to say thanks for all of the help!

This company is fantastic. We had previously received a quote from Roto Rooters regarding a stack clean-out install, which Roto had claimed would cost us $2-5,000 to fix. We were smart enough to get a second opinion, and I'm so glad we contacted Norblom. They were very accommodating over the phone, and when the technician came he was straight to the point. He got done with the job in only a couple hours and didn't try to scare us into a high price point. Instead, the job came in at just under $500, with a technician that was honest and reassuring about the whole process. Look no further, this is the plumbing company that you will keep for years. I couldn't be happier with their services!

We had a leaky valve in our toilet and I found Norblom Plumbing from the good reviews on Nextdoor. I called in the morning, the plumber was on site the same day, and it was all fixed 30 minutes later! They have a very helpful texting system to keep you updated about your appointment which I found really convenient. They offer fair and transparent pricing! I'm going to keep them on hand for any future plumbing needs!

Had Mike from Norblom out today to do a simple replacement job under our kitchen sink that we just didn't have time to do ourselves. He called to let me know he was on the way, arrived 5 minutes before the beginning of our appointment window, was very personable and seemed like a straight shooter. He also checked our basement floor drain and was able to get Norblom's drain guy, Zach, scheduled right away to clear it out. He was also right on time (arrived 5 min after the appointment window started). Both jobs were done quickly and like Mike, Zach was friendly and very nice about answering my questions about maintenance. Total for the two separate calls was $305. They also replaced our water heater a few years ago (think that was done by a Ben), and we were happy with that service as well. Would definitely recommend them to others.

I had a leaky, broken toilet that needed to be fixed quickly. Norblom Plumbing was able to squeeze me into their schedule the very next day. The nice gentleman who came to my house was punctual, did a fantastic job, and was respectful of my space. During this COVID-19 pandemic, I am so incredibly thankful that there are people willing to risk their own health to make sure people like me have a working bathroom. I would definitely recommend Norblom!

I hired Norblom because New Brighton is changing out water meters. My shut-off valve did not work and needed to be replaced to change out the meter. I had never heard of freezing the pipe. I contacted numerous contractors only 2 could do it. They got it done for $400.00 my next best bid was $600.00. These people are pros from the receptionist to the men they send out. THANKS PAUL YOU GOT IT DONE

“I would like to thank Norblom Plumbing for making a troublesome day very comforting & a pleasant experience! Their professionalism started with the office staff, keeping me updated throughout the service call. Richard (plumber) was courteous, polite and professional. My entire experience with Norblom was top notch and would undoubtedly recommend.

We had a very mixed experience with Norblom. I originally spoke with "Jim" by phone about needing installation of an isolation valve and flushing of tank for water heater. He quoted me an hourly rate and what it would cost if they supplied the valve versus us supplying it. He said that the job would take 1-2 hours. He did not mention any other parts/costs that would be involved beyond that; I was given the impression that it was just the hourly rate + the cost of the valve. "Scott" was sent out to perform the job. He was courteous/professional and it took him 2 hours to perform entire job. This was all fine until he shared the bill with me. It was approximately $300 more than had been quoted. He said this was because there were some extra pipes that were needed. (these were minor copper pipes that couldn't have cost much).
I responded that we were not informed there would be extra supplies at the outset and therefore I did not feel the extra $300 was fair. Scott had Jim call me and he and I discussed the situation. He insisted that he had mentioned there might be extra supplies- (he didn't!). He also made demeaning comments toward me: "have you ever owned a home before?"
After much haggling and rude attittude from Jim, he relented and
agreed to charge me just the hourly rate we had agreed upon and nothing for supplies (we had purchased the valve, not them).
Though the job appears to be have done well, the whole experience with the bill and my interaction with Jim left a very bad taste.

I will only work with Norblom Plumbing. If you haven't worked with them yet, please consider my experience/s. Again, they were responsive, communicative, friendly and helpful. This time, my water heater collapsed (17 years RIP), and I was literally leaking money (+$300 on my last water bill!). When I finally figured out what was happening, I called Norblom Plumbing for help. Amy scheduled service, Mike showed up on time, and my water heater was replaced all within 24 hours. I appreciate that Mike gave me an overview of differences and code updates from the last water heater after completing install. Fast, responsive, and problem solved!

I had Norblom out to replace an old water heater that had started leaking the day before. They were on time, professional, and charged exactly what had been quoted over email. The quote itself was significantly higher than I have seen from other companies ($1958.99 for an incredibly basic water heater), but I went with it because it’s December and not the time for me or tenants to be without hot water.

The only complaint I had with the service itself is a painted door that was scratched in the process of moving the old water heater up the stairs. They had to work a miracle to fit the 75 gallon water heater up the stairs, so a scratch is understandable, but for the price of service I would have expected an acknowledgement and apology. All in all, though, they did their job and I’m grateful to have hot water again.

Earlier this summer I had a plumbing issue that impacted both units of a duplex where there was a leak from one toilet in the upper unit into the bathroom of the lower. Norblom sent one plumber to look at and diagnose the issue with a 4-hour timeslot allotted to the fix. This plumber didn't even remove the 2' x 2' board we had screwed to the ceiling to investigate the issue, which I know because the small beads of caulk were still in tact on the the side of the board. He just said we need to fully remodel the bathroom. I also needed the kitchen faucet fixed, which he didn't do either. I then met with an estimator to review the project and never received the estimate. All of this cost me over $200 for nothing and wasted valuable time (which they overcharged on time and never gave me a return - confirmed by the manager). I understand the conditions of the bathrooms were not 100% perfect, so I decided to call a competent plumber (Rascher Plumbing --> A+++!) and they came out, repaired the floor, fixed the toilet, fixed the kitchen all within a 4-hour timeslot. Do yourself a favor and save some time and money by using a different plumber.

I have been utilizing Norblom plumbing for about 10 years and am always happy with their work. They are knowledgeable, professional, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend them if you want the job done correctly for a good value!

Norblom was the first plumber I called. Jim was friendly, professional, and very helpful on the phone. He gave me a decent idea of what to expect for the repairs I might need based on my novice description of the symptoms. He also provided what turned out to be a pretty spot on range of what I should be prepared to spend (of which they actually came in on the low end of the range.) Being a pragmatic person, I called some other plumbers, because I did not want to just go with the first place I talked to. what a waste of time that was! No one else even came close to how courteous and helpful Jim at Norblom was. So I called Norblom back to book service and I got a different person on the phone. She was also very helpful and friendly and when I told her I had talked to someone else earlier she got me back on the phone with Jim. I was able to get someone out to our house in 3 days, which was great as the pipe repair was not necessarily an emergency but something I wanted fixed asap.
The plumber, Alex, was on time, very friendly, and did a wonderful job figuring out the issue and getting to right to work. I had done some prep work to control the dust in our finished basement as I knew they would have to break up the cement floor. Alex appreciated that I had done that work myself and saved him the time and trouble of controlling the dust/mess.
Alex explained the issues very well and gave me options without being pushy or trying to upsell product or services to pad the bill. He listened to my requests and followed through with great service and an excellent attitude.
The cherry on top is he finished with time to spare! He was scheduled to be at my house all day but finished in about 4 house even tho he had to go out for a part because my 1940’s house had an irregular sized pipe (time was deducted from my bill). When he was almost ready to leave, I pulled the ol’ by the way could you look at something else? Certainly frustrating for any service person! He was consistent with his professional and courteous manner and said no problem, let’s take a look.
We were not getting adequate pressure when running hot water in the shower. He was very knowledgeable of the fixtures and was able to disassemble and troubleshoot the issue and quickly find the problem. I should mention, I have had other people tell me to save money I should just to replace the fixtures myself. I am glad I didn’t do that myself because the fixtures were actually fine and the obstruction was in the hot water line before the fixture. My wife now has sufficient water pressure in her shower and somehow I came to be the hero… Alex should get all of the credit but I’ll take what I can get. Thanks again, Alex!
    Overall 10/10 would recommend!

I called Norblom Plumbing at 8:00 AM and because they had a cancellation, I was able to receive same day service and my repair was promptly completed the same morning. The plumber that was dispatched, Jake, was very knowledgeable and friendly; he provided me an explanation of the work that would be involved and the cost between a repair and a replacement. The charge for the services was very reasonable and I will definitely call on Norblom Plumbing in the future.

Norblom Plumbing claims that I am a valued customer. In reality, it values only my bank account. Another thing Norblom values is its time. Yes, it values its time at nearly $200 per hour. As a valued customer, how much does Norblom value my time? My time is valued at $0 per hour. I waited nearly three hours for the highwayman to show up. That is three hours I could have been working to fortify my bank account against the onslaught it was about to face.

I called Norblom to inquire as to what it might cost to replace a hose bib. I was told $250 plus parts—not outrageous. This was not a complex job. I would have completed it myself for less than $100 were I not disabled. I scheduled the *appointment*.

After a brief examination, the plumber stated that he probably did not have the right part, but he could probably jerry rig something. At this point I should have bid the rogue adieu, but I would have had pay $150 for the privilege of waiting three hours and having nothing completed. I okayed it—my second mistake.

My OK opened up a barrage from the parts cannon, the likes of which I have never witnessed. He had to remove the garbage disposal to make room for his exquisite work of art in copper. Upon reassembly, the trap leaked. Of course, that necessitated the nearly complete replacement of my kitchen sink drain/waste assembly. The invoice totaled more than $600.

I needed a new water heater due to the manner in which the old was vented so upon furnace replacement the old would not continue to vent. The installer was on time, professional and was efficient and completed the work leaving it looking great. The installer also remembered doing additional work in the house 7 years ago. Very impressive that your team remembers houses and home owners. I have always enjoyed working with Norblom and was pleased when I found out it was Norblom that was contracted by Standard Heating for the heater.
I would recommend your company anytime.

Our ten year old water heater began leaking. I called Norblom on Monday morning to schedule the installation of a new unit. Mike arrived at 7:30am on Tuesday and completed the install.
I've used Norblom for plumbing repairs on several houses over the years. I routinely recommend them to friends.
