I’m a young homeowner still learning a lot, so figuring out who to call when something breaks can be difficult. I wanted to go with a local company and Gray Duck plumbing stood out. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful. I accidentally called after office hours and they made sure to call me back first thing the next morning. The technician, Greg, did an excellent job, his experience shows in his work. He diagnosed and fixed the issue very quickly. It was a pretty big fix, he had to rebuild the water main. It only took about 2 hours in total, even though he had to leave and get some different parts. Overall, they were truly just kind and considerate people who got the job done fast. I will gladly call Gray Duck for any future problems I may have.

We are super pleased with our entire experience working with Gray Duck. Dan is kind and very knowledgeable, and was happy to answer all of our questions. He took the time to show us several options and explain each option thoroughly so we could make the best decision for our situation. This company seems to be built on respect, kindness and quality, and we absolutely recommend them!

Gray Duck Plumbing has been absolutely incredible in our journey of newly purchasing an older home for the past 8 months. Our story begins with moving into the home to discover that the tub is so backed up that showering was impossible - over a holiday 3-day weekend. We hired a guy off Thumbtack to clear the drain and install a new shower head and were left with no faucet plus the clogged drain. We then called Bonfe, and the kid came by and told us that the tub drain was designed wrong, we need to drop the ceiling to prevent future clogs, and as he checked the plumbing in the basement, also told us we had a gas leak. Soooo....not stoked about that. We called Gray Duck, and Dan came out with his apprentice. By this time, we were desperate for a shower cannot put into words how great he is and how transparent and honest the company is. First things first, he checked the gas lines the good old-fashioned way (soap and look for bubbles) and was like, "No, you don't have a gas leak. Did the other guy use some kind of scanner?" Why yes, yes he did. Those machines are notorious for giving false positives. So then, Dan and his apprentice get to work on the tub, and Dan's thoughts on the tub drain is, "Yes, it's a bit harder to clear out and the design isn't great, but we'll get it done. We'll make sure you get a shower today." And he did.

So, since then, we've had Gray Duck come out multiple times to install a new water softener, clear out the basement drain, install new bathroom and kitchen faucets, remove a toilet, clean the drain again (to which he showed us on Amazon an enzyme cleaner to use that will digest biological material to prevent future clogs).

And finally, why I recommend Gray Duck to everyone is because they're about community. This past weekend, with the several days of double-digit subzero temperatures, we woke up on Saturday to no running water. We're from Texas and we knew enough to know, that's very, very bad. I couldn't find the water shut off so we panicked and texted Dan. He called us in less than 5 mins and KNEW OUR HOME enough to walk us through where it was. And then gave us step-by-steps instructions for what to do since the pipes hadn't burst. We got lucky and were able to get the water running again. But Dan called us on his own time to make sure we were okay and insisted that we let him know if the pipes unfroze.

I will never take my business elsewhere because you don't find people better than Dan, and Gray Duck hires honest people who care for their community.

I live in a 100+ year old home that still has the original bathroom plumbing. The old Crane toilet's fill valve was broken. Greg came in and checked out everything and explained that the old parts needed are no longer available. He came up with a couple of different options and we scheduled a return date. Greg returned with all necessary tools and supplies and finished the job wonderfully well. Everything was totally cleaned up and said toilet is working great with all new parts. I would definitely use Gray Duck again and highly recommend them. Thank you Greg!!

We've used Gray Duck Plumbing for numerous repairs. Tina, Greg, and Dan provide fantastic service, and always upfront about options and pricing. They've redid piping, replaced the bathroom tub with surround/water softener/laundry tub, and installed a new carbon water filter.
When we have had an urgent plumbing need, Shelby will quickly get a technician out to our home. We will continue to use Gray Duck for any future service. Thank you Gray Duck!

We had Ryan Plumbing & Heating come to our house to bleed the radiators and check out our boilers and Isaac did a great job. He was thorough and explained everything he did. We will definitely continue to use them.

Matt from Ryan heating and plumbing was great! My water heater stopped working and he came and did a free estimate and gave me options and explained the entire proceeds upfront. He also reviewed the safety concerns of my previous water heater. He was honest and did help me sort out best options while trying to keep cost low. We ultimately chose to install a new one and it was all done same day. Great service, reasonable price, fast turn around time. I’d highly recommend using Ryan heating and plumbing!

On the admin side, Matt prioritized getting our boiler appt same day, which was amazing compared with others that were 1 week out. Our plumber Tim was knowledgeable about boilers, but more importantly he was honest. He didn't try to upsell or take advantage of a unwitting homeowner! I've been burned by the big names in plumbing, so it's nice to find a family owned company that can handle any residential job with quality and honesty.

I had a great experience with Ryan Plumbing and Heating. We have an old boiler that was causing our tenant some concerns. Ryan Plumbing and Heating performed a thorough safety check and gave us clear information about its safety and efficiency. Oh this is a great company (family owned) and has been around for 75 years! Matt (owner) is very helpful and will assist you in understanding the problem you may have. We had a major plumbing leak & needed pipe repair and faucet repairs. And it was happening during this cold snap and he sent out a guy right away (Isaac- was the guy, who was knowledgeable & very helpful in solving the problem) and fixed it the same day! They are fair and honest with their quotes and the good work they do. I have used them for both of my homes over the past 20 years and I highly recommend them for all your plumbing and heating needs! They are the best at what they do and they are kind along the way of doing their work and I appreciate that too.

Great price, great service and quick turnaround to have our water heater tanks replaced. Bonus they used a really high quality brand, so I know they're not skimping in quality. I did get two other quotes from bigger plumbing companies and they offered the best price and solution. I would use them again and I would recommend them to family. Thanks, Matt!

Frustrating when you know more than the staff at a business and they actually think they know more than you on certain things. The person that helped me immediately jumped to the no we don't have that without even knowing what was being talked about. Also if he bothered to actually look up similar parts, found two of them on fergusson website, he would have seen that his own "knowledge" needs some improvement. Will take my business elsewhere because of one person. Other than that in the past they have been helpful and decent to work with. This was just the end and for me with them and any business I intended to give them in the future.
