We had three relatively simple plumbing issues (simple for plumbers). Jason showed up on time, was engaging, professional and fully explained everything done after completion. We have been Rascher fans for decades, and they do it well every time! Thanks Jason, and thanks Rascher!

After using rauscher over the past year for various services and spending thousands of dollars my dad and I are unhappy with our experience dealing with this company. During our first visit they sent a plumber with an obvious body odor problem. For what they are charging personal hygiene should be a given and it was so strong it took me over 30min to air our home out. When I mentioned this to Dave he didn’t seem receptive to that feedback and from that point on has been cold in our interactions. Second, they bill you by the minute including the time it takes for them to total up the bill and the time it takes to fill out the check. If they did excellent work this wouldn’t be a big issue but during our latest service call the plumber we had missed a leak with our sink pipes while installing a new garbage disposal. He forgot the new toilet seat and had to waste time calling the office to send out a replacement. He also left a dirty bucket filled with dirty water in our home for us to deal with. Be advised if you choose a toilet or any fixtures from Ferguson and use Rauscher to install Rauscher significantly marks up the cost. Also be advised that their hourly rate increases every May which they don’t disclose on their website or during scheduling calls. Dave has been unpleasant to deal with, his arrogance and scheduling mistake caused a delay in our service and stress. Instead of being apologetic and offering a discount due to his mistake he acted cold and indifferent and like it was our problem for not wanting to use the plumber he sent instead of the one we had requested. The last guy they sent out to seal the sink pipe didn’t fix the leak. Whatever paste he used to seal it is easily wiped off, he didn't do the bottom rim just the top leaving water dripping through onto the area below the sink. He never recommended replacing that pipe piece or communicated options to us before he left. We will never use them again and they didn’t fix the the sink drip they most likely created during the garbage disposal install. First 2 photos are of it leaking after they said it was fixed third photo is before they came out to fix it.

Rascher Plumbing did a great job of fixing our issues. They communicated well with scheduling the service. Once they arrived - Jason did a great job on listening to our issues, analyzing the issues and repairing the issues.

Rascher Plumbing and Heating has been my go-to for plumbing needs going on 30 years. This past week I noticed my water heater had evidence it was beginning to leak. It was this past Thursday morning I placed a call to them; "where Jenifer and I discussed my observations." I sent her a couple pictures. With in the hour of my call, she had a technician at my home with the equipment, expertise and tools necessary to remove and reinstall a new unit. I was informed quickly by Shane the Tech, how he would approach the project and the estimated time it would take. All expectation were quickly met. In addition, I am further grateful, the materials and labor invoice; "was what I believe to be at, a very fair price."

A side note, I sincerely also appreciate they have records on file of all previous work and the materials supplied over the years.

As previously mentioned, "Rascher Plumbing and Heating, on Smith Avenue in St. Paul, is the one and only call I make, when I need an experienced Plumber."

Needed 2 thirty year old bathroom faucets and a showerhead replaced. Matt did a superb job. He was courteous and cordial, very neat, cleaned up work areas and was professional throughout. I can guarantee that the next time I have a plumbing need I will want Matt to do the job.

Matt and the apprentice with him were fantastic to work with and were able to get me in so they could swap in a new water heater that had gone out the day before. They spotted another issue in my plumbing that could have been a real pain and got me fixed up on the spot with that too. Couldn’t be more thankful to them and to Jennifer who got everything arranged.

Their price was very reasonable, they had excellent customer service and I have good faith in the work they did. I’m looking forward to working with them on a much larger project in the future.

Edit: Went back to them for a far larger product of replacing my aging, corroded galvanized through out the house. Did a great job - will be back to them for any of the small repairs I can't do myself. Definite Pros

Can't say enough positive thoughts re: Rascher Plumbing starting from the initial call answered by a very friendly & upbeat woman by the name of Jennifer. She was able to schedule a same day appointment due to a cancellation. Jason J called prior to arriving was prompt & very professional. His quick wit & sense of humor was greatly appreciated as well. He explained as he went along & got the job done in record time, considering we had at least 3 hrs into it by trying to fix it ourselves! He got a good kick out of that one!! Lastly, Rascher Plumbing will be our 1st call for any other plumbing needs going forward! Thanks again Jason J!

From the estimate (Joe Rascher), selection of product, scheduling to installation, clean up & invoicing our experience was great. Our installer (Dennis) was very responsive and considerate (covid safe). He also asked for our input throughout the process as he completed the project. Jason called ahead at the agreed time, showed up promptly, and fixed both our problems in just over an hour. These were a toilet that kept draining and a chronically-clogged shower drain. He fixed these quickly and expertly, also fixing the water connection to the toilet (that we hadn't known was busted). I'm very impressed. This is another example of a Rascher plumber doing a great job, as I have come to expect from them!
