Easy to schedule. Scott came out during the arrival window. Took a look at our problem and explained how and why it happens. He ran a line through our floor drain and cleared it out. Offered to have a technician scope it. Tyrone then stopped by about an hour later to scope. Both technicians were very friendly and professional.

Scheduled online and they came right out. Andrew was so friendly and efficient. He thoroughly explained our options and answered all of our questions. Fast, quality service. Would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter!

Me and my fiance just moved into our new home and we started to have sewage drainage problem. Scott was able to come by and was super helpful and knowledgeable. He explained to me step by step on the services and answered my questions thoroughly. He was able to help clean out our sewage drainage and also advised me well on how to care for it after. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs sewage or drainage cleaning service!

Lance has been taking care of all of our plumbing needs for almost 20 years. From plumbing problems such as leaks or needing toilet repair to complete household remodels of kitchens and bathrooms. Lance has always been there for us. He is exceptionally fastidious and his attention to detail and precision is extraordinary! The job is done right the first time. He is truly a polished professional!

Detail: This review is long overdue! In the fall of 2023, we finally decided to replace a 25+ year old atmospheric vent water heater in our 1958 home in Bloomington. We are planning some basement renovations, and in order to accommodate what we wanted to do we needed to move the water heater about 6’ on a diagonal from its then-current location. I did my usually due diligence trying to find the best of the best contractors (Better Business Bureau, Consumer’s Checkbook, Google, Yelp, etc. reviews) and settled on 4 contractors to get estimates from. We were trying to decide between a power vent and an electric (couldn’t replace it with another atmospheric vent due to exhaust considerations), so we needed estimates for both types. To make a very long story short, which included some weird up-selling attempts and one guy shaking my basement pipes and ‘wondering how much longer they’d last’), I had all my contractor contact and estimates; it wasn’t even a close decision. From the start, Lance was responsive, understood the nature of the project, did not try to sell us anything we didn’t need, and his price was by far lowest of all estimates, one by almost 100%. When I told him we were hoping to get it in before the end of 2023, he graciously made sure he got us in before he took some time off. On the day of the job, he and an assistant showed up on time, were respectful of property, were quick with the installation and left the place cleaner than they found it. Since then, we’ve been enjoying worry-free hot water (we went with a 50-gallon electric) and are very pleased we went with Lance/Polar Plumbing. While I encourage everyone to do their own due diligence and get estimates, I for one can say ‘honest work at an honest price,’ and to me that says a lot these days. Lance will always be our ‘first call’ plumber from here on out.

I have used Polar Plumbing for many years, Lance as always done a wonderful job, he gives me a quote upfront. I appreciate that he does a wonderful job. He has replaced my outside water valves, as well as both valves before and after my water meter in the basement. He just installed a new water heater mine was leaking he ordered it immediately late
Monday it came in Wednesday he squeezed me in and installed it Wednesday. I am very appreciative!

Lance came out on one day’s notice to replace an outdoor faucet. Repair was done quickly and was a quality job. Very fair pricing. Will definitely use again.

I hired Polar Plumbing to install a new water heater when mine started leaking. He is very busy, but worked me into his schedule that day since it was urgent. He arrived in 4 hours with a new water heater and installed it very quickly. The installation was very well done (actually better than the original) and everything was clean and neat afterwards. This was my first time using Polar Plumbing and I have already contracted for toilet replacements with Lance. Highly recommend.

AJ Alberts did excellent work for us. They were fast, efficient, responsive. They'll be the call we make next time we need any plumbing. Highly recommend!

When my very old boiler stopped working (old enough that the serial number pre-dated the manufacturer's search tool) I was certain whoever I called would take one look and say it needs to be replaced. Instead, James came out and spent all week searching for parts to try to repair it. When it became clear that the old boiler had been jerry rigged and was past the point of no return, James and Jason quickly acquired a new boiler so they could install it before a cold front came in over the weekend. They arrived at around 1 pm on Friday and all my radiators were hot by 6 pm. Now my old house is warmer than I thought possible and I have a plumber I trust and can call for help in the future. All is well that ends well!

I'd hired AJ Alberts Plumbing about a month ago to help out with a few projects. This morning I woke up to find water in my basement! I'd called AJ Alberts right away and told them what was happening. It was like Magic! A team of two trucks were here in minutes, it wasn't even 15 minutes! Very professional, came to where the problem was and fixed it in minutes. James, explained to me what happened and why. I feel re-insured with his work and knowledge about my water softener and carbon filter. But the best part is that they cleaned up all the mess. Vacuumed up all the water, help me take things outside to dry, dried everything off... Just amazing. I did expect them to go the extra mile for me. Thank you!

Great service from Luca today. He came out to identify the source of a minor leak. Unfortunately he needed to cut a few walls open to find it, but he tried to minimize the impact, cleaned up all the debris, and stayed late to fix the root problem in the same visit. I really appreciate the prompt service and the fair price.
