Gene's Plumbing has been our plumbing service for many years. They always go a great job!

I had a small job, they sent a guy out pretty quickly, needed some valves replaced and had some questions, he was super nice and got the work done fast.

I’m a bit late on posting that Genes Plumbing & Sewer Biz has got to me on New Year’s day of 2018 the day My tenants water heater blew up they were very quick efficient and Larry & John got the job done together and gave me a 50 gallon water heater that’s all they had but on a holiday they were out and they got to Us and they are wonderful~~ thanks guys!

Fast response and very affordable. I would highly recommend their services in the Blue Springs and Grain Valley area. They were quick to fix a shower leak and were very professional in fixing the problem.

Very professional! Installed a shut off valve while I was at work and my wife was home. Shows her how to use it and didn’t try to sell anything extra and was true to his quote on his service. Would recommend and use again!

They were able to get here quickly, fix my issues, and answer some questions I had about general maintenance etc. The prices are fair, and they will try to cram as much as they can into as little time as possible to make sure you get a good deal. I can tell they're very passionate about what they do, and were super friendly. I got lots of useful advice and I couldn't be happier.

We had an issue that multiple other plumbers could not diagnose. Gene’s plumbing was not only able to identify the issue, but they had the part on hand to fix it and their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend!

This review is for work they did for me a year ago. The main drain clogged up on the weekend. Even though the gentleman was closing down the office for the day, he came out and cleared my backup AND fixed a cracked pipe that I didn't know was cracked. I was thrilled that he was able to help me so quickly. But I was even more thrilled that he only charged me for an hour's time. Will call again!!!

Larry and the additional staff with this company are experts at what they do and have the most reasonable prices you’d find anywhere. They are always on time, know exactly how to address issues, and finish in a timely manner. They leave the area better than it looked when they started and provide outstanding service. Very thankful to have a company that you can trust and doesn’t over charge for services. Exceptional work!

Came on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the same day I called. He was about the 6th place I called since I didn't see many reviews, and was only the 2nd who answered the phone. Most other plumbers were not even open on weekends or didn't return my call.
Turns out, I was lucky they didn't. Charged exactly HALF of another highly-rated plumber's quote (not even including the extra $150 they wanted to come on a Saturday!), saving me hundreds. Plumber was friendly, knowledgable, timely and fair. Shower works better than it did when I bought the house. Has been in business for decades. Will absolutely use again if the need arises.

I am very slow to give a review mainly because I’m old and just never thought to do it!! We have been customers of Gene’s for years and just cannot say enough good things about them! So reliable knowledgeable, dependable, reasonable and the list goes on and on. You cannot go wrong having them tackle just about problem you may have.

DO NOT USE. We used Gene's Plumbing to install a bathtub faucet. Two floods and $6k later they will not make things right. We had third-party plumbers look at the install and they told us that wrong products were used and the install was negligent at best. I reached out to Rick, the owner of Gene's plumbing, and he has not provided a remedy. Their plumbers are contractors, so Gene's Plumbing will not financially or legally hold themselves responsible for any mistakes, negligence, or bad plumbers.

Called at 9:00 in the morning and had a service man by 12:00 to repair a toilet that was leaking. Larry was great and had it fixed in 45 minutes. This company has been in business a long time and it shows, highly recommend for customer service and price,

Cannot recommend this company enough. When our pipes burst on the coldest day of the year, they answered my call immediately and had someone out in just over an hour. Less than an hour later the problem was identified and fixed for a very affordable rate. We will be using Gene's from now on!
