Cartwright took down three trees and trimmed six more at my house and they did a fantastic job! I got three bids and they were the lowest. I usually don’t like taking the lowest bid, but they had the most comprehensive bid, and they were the only company that followed up with me after submitting the bid. They were fast and friendly and cleaned up my entire yard — even taking limbs I had stacked from a previous storm. I definitely recommend Cartwright!

Cartwright Tree Service has amazing service! A large tree limb fell on our house in Overland Park at 11:00pm after the storm yesterday. I called and left a message and they called back at 7:00am the next morning. By 8:00am, Matthew came over to do an estimate. I approved it and by early afternoon, they were there removing the tree. They were professional and friendly. This is the third time that I have used their service. It is the only company that I will use for tree service!

We recently utilized Cartwright Tree Care for a large tree removal at our home. From the beginning when obtaining an estimate, to the scheduling, to the day of service, we were very pleased with the prompt response, communication and timeline of our tree being removed.

Their crew showed up during the timeline we were told to expect and the tree removal was surprisingly quick, considering the size of our tree. Cleanup was as expected, as was the stump removal, and our property was left in great condition after the job was completed.

We would definitely recommend Cartwright Tree Care and will gladly be repeat customers in the future when we need any of the tree care services offered.

They did an incredible job. They are fairly priced, competent with HOW to do the work without damaging the tree, and they communicated it very well to me. Do yourself a favor and use them. They’re the best in the business!

Matt and his team are a first-class operation. From the 1st call to the end of the job, they were exceptional to work with. They took one of our a 80-foot trees out with absolute perfection. First time I spent this kind of $ to remove a single tree and I actually felt great about it. Matt and his crew are just good hearted people. No need to call anyone else. Had the Cartwright Team back again in fall of 2025 to do a couple tree removals… one tree too big for it’s space & growing into the roadway and the other becoming a threat and nuisance to the house. Team showed up on time and made quick work of the tree removal. Thanks again for great work.

I needed large limbs removed from my Oak tree. Cartwright arrived on time with their equipment to do the job and setup a safe worksite before beginning. They cleaned up the worksite well, before leaving. There was a problem with part of the work and Cartwright resolved it quickly. This is a professional group. I would recommend Cartwright to family and friends.

Pinnacle Lawn and the Owner Ben are best at sprinkler installation at the best price in KC. Have them come out and give you a bid. Also, the service after the sale is top notch! I come from the lawn business and appreciate people who know their lawns and their business!

Dave always does a great job on my lawn!

I had been looking for a reliable and responsible person/company to do some yard work. It is hard to find people who are honest; show up and are fair-priced as well. I saw some recommendations for Dave to do lawn & yard work, etc.

I contacted Dave that evening. He is one who will actually talk on the phone if needed and not just text. He has great manners; is very respectful; is very detail-oriented and listens well. Returns calls and texts promptly and gets back on quotes fast. He also will give his input as far as how he something might look better or different. (eg borders on a flower or vegetable bed or colors of rock or mulch to go with surrounding areas).

He and a co-worker (I believe named Ian) did a lot of yard work for me in very hot and humid weather -- They worked very hard and I did not have to watch them or babysit them. If he had questions he would ask ahead or as he went. He is good at thinking things through and figuring things out, seems to come naturally to him. Two of my neighbors commented on how hard they worked and how impressed they were.

They removed a medium sized in-ground fishpond and its components - it was a messy and stinky job with the stagnant water and old leaves, etc. They pumped the old water out and then filled it with organic soil and compost which they picked-up and delivered from a nearby organic company that has good reviews. They also mulched the beds in our yard and removed an area of builder's rubble that I couldn't grow flowers in and filled it in with organic Soil and compost. They trimmed several large trees in our yard and took all of their branches away. They weeded all around our yard. They dug a new area for me to use for a small planting or birding area. They removed all of the old grass and rubble.

I highly recommend this business and I felt I had to write a review because they deserve it and more! I will hire them again in the future.
