Kyle did a great job getting me set up with a Carrier replacement AC unit. Fair price. Installation was timely and a neat job was done. The first month the unit has performed well. Hopefully, it will last a long time.

The first time Chief heating and cooling came in after an astronomical quote by another company and gave me an honest fair quote which I accepted. Eric leveled with me and explained everything I needed and the items i probably wouldn't need.

When the AC went on the fritz during the crazy summer heat they got me on the schedule and sent out Vince very shortly after. Vince was great to work with and was professional and friendly. He got the issue fixed in a timely manner and left everything better than he found it. As long as i am in the Blue Springs area I will be using chief heating and air for my HVAC needs!

After calling to request an estimate for a new heat pump and air exchanger, Eric arrived promptly the next day a few minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment. He was professional and courteous and answered all of our questions. He was very forthcoming in his explanations. He represents the company well. He came highly recommended and lived up to his excellent reputation. The detailed estimate arrived within three hours of his leaving. The online agreement process was quick and easy. The installation crew arrived on time and did a great job start to finish. They laid down tarps to protect the carpeting and took extra care moving equipment around furnishings to prevent any damage. The crew took the time to mark and explain how to adjust our ducts seasonally for the best results. Eric called a few weeks later to confirm everything was working out and to answer any questions. Our new Carrier heat pump is super quiet and a great replacement for our old system. We couldn't be more pleased. This is the best contractor experience we've ever had. We rate this company 10+ out of 10 and have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to do so.

Cannot speak highly enough about Eric and his crew. I had a difficult install and his team was there every day figuring it out and working with me. They were the most reasonable quote I received of 14 different places and they even made pointers about our dampers before we hired them. They went above and beyond to help us out with a rebate as well. This is an extremely ethical, responsive, and thoughtful business. You will not be upset about hiring them if your experience is anything like mine. We will be using them for all our HVAC work moving forward.

I have used Josh twice now and I am so SOOOOO impressed. He not only had us up and running again both times in under thirty minutes but by the second time he could have sold me a new unit that’s how much I have no idea about hvac and can’t handle the KC summer temps.
Instead he explained I have life left in my system, how to better care for it, what went wrong - and why- without being in any way condescending. Girl- that’s everything. Why don’t other contractors know about that little trick- don’t treat me like a dummy just because I don’t know where the sprankenzebolt fits into the jimminycricketawdgit.

Won’t use anyone else. Nope, I’m not friends or family, initially called him from a random Google search and got SO LUCKY! Josh is imo hands down best in town.
Btw- the bigger company that pays a bunch to advertise in this specialty and who I don’t want to sue me so whose name I won’t mention, “MAY” have tried to sell me a new unit for thousands and thousands when I clearly didn’t need that. Josh- straight up fast and fair DOES IT GET BETTER? Idts.

We used this company to replace our 2 existing AC units, including one that no longer worked. Owner Josh was very good at communicating throughout the process and was able to complete the service quickly, which we appreciated with hot weather coming and a newborn. Called another company on late Fridayfor my ac not working. I was told they wouldn't make it out till Monday. I then tried tropic air and was told someone could be out to be in the next hour! They came out it was frozen. They got it unfrozen and checked all my levels and cleaned it and within a hour i was up and going! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Had a large mini split Mitsubishi unit installed. Supports 5 head units but I’ve only used two so far. A floor unit to keep the main living space comfortable without heating / cooling the entire house during the day. Another head unit in the basement. Very happy with the unit and the installation.
