The guys showed up when they said they would (not necessarily a common thing anymore) and did a great job cleaning our filthy vents. They were nice and professional. Highly recommend them if you need your vents cleaned.

This is a family owned business. Justin, Robert, Jessica, Natasha, and a couple other technicians all were pleasant to work with and got our new system installed and working great for us. All Electric, Luxaire high efficiency heat pump. It qualified for a Rebate through Evergy and also a Tax Credit and Natasha stayed on top of it all to get me the documents and contact I needed with Evergy to get the Rebate. Their prices were competitive and options to work for our budget and options of different brand name quotes were great. They received the equipment quickly and made arrangements to get it installed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them and trust them for any of your HVAC needs. Our company uses Tropic Air for our commercial Hoshizaki refrigerators, freezer and ice machine. When I initially found the company last March, they were the only ones who got back to me same day, also with the ability to work on Hoshi equipment. They dispatched a technician out to our office that same day and we’ve been working together ever since. Natasha is wonderful with communication and clarity, she remembers we have busy days and less busy days that are easier for techs to work in our kitchen. The technicians are knowledgeable, professional, transparent and efficient. They’re focused but will interact with folks in passing. Every experience with Tropic Air has been seamless. These are not cheap services, so it’s really relieving to have a quality experience from start to finish, consistently. Reach out to these guys — you won’t be disappointed.

Tanner is an absolute gem! He went above and beyond to get our A/C repaired, even working late into the evening to make sure everything was done right. Not only was he incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but he was also a pleasure to be around—friendly, courteous, and truly dedicated to his craft.

When the large HVAC companies failed to provide quality products at a fair price, AFC H&C came through. I was very pleased with the professional and prompt service.

I had asked for a bid to replace a furnace, AC unit and some duct work. Ron Kuhl came out from AFC Heating and Cooling. From the beginning Ron was fairly negative about the whole thing. Making it sound like this was some huge project and was not even sure how to go about it.

This of course gave me some reservations about hiring AFC, but still I requested a bid. Two weeks passed by and no word from Ron. I called him and asked where things were at. He had to stop and think who I was and what the job was. Which tells me that he had no intention on taking on the job. Sure enough he said he would pass. I asked him why it took so long to get back to me if he didn't want to do the job to begin with. All he said was, "sorry."

Ron Kuhl was very unprofessional and just a negative person to work with from the start. Do not invest any time or money into AFC Heating and Cooling out of Lee's Summit, MO.

I have used AFC for the past 15 years and have always had a positive experience with them. The pricing is always more than reasonable and onsite response time is very reasonable. I highly recommend AFC.

Matthew was out to help service and check up on our AC Units. He was incredibly professional, respective of our property (and safety for COVID), and courteous. Highly recommend AFC and will definitely leverage their services and expertise for future needs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! First off, they come in and drag dirt through the house. Never once put foot coverings on or removed shoes. Brand new ac/heat was not working. The man tells me he fixed it by closing the basement vents. Also told me we should always use emergency heat. WHAT! Not to mention he stood on the bed with his shoes on to shut the basement vent! Very disappointed in their service!

They were the sub contractor on our new home through Hearthside Homes whereby they installed the heating and air unit. We had a problem with the balance of the system. Some rooms were freezing cold while the next room were hot on the 2nd floor of our home. Those rooms are over the garage but I had a mini split heat pump installed in the garage and it helped but the problem was still there. We paid extra to have the 2nd floor be separated with it's own thermostat so this would not happen.

They came out within the warranty period and fixed the issue by adding a vent in the closet directly above the garage and increasing the size of a vent in the bathroom next to it.

Most of their staff are very professional and easy to work with. I appreciate their willingness to make it right.

I would recommend AFC Heating and Cooling to anyone. We have used them in the past. And when our a/c recently went out, during the oppressive summer heat, AFC provided uncommonly good service again. They came out and temporarily put in some freon, until they had the new a/c unit ready to install. You can't go wrong with AFC. Competent and experienced.

These folks are great. When I've had an issue with my unit, I give them a call. They are are easy to work with and conscientious with my money. The gentleman that has answered all the service calls to my house, David, is an exceptionally nice guy. If you have an issue with your HVAC, give these people a call. They make a stressful process easier to deal with.

Got us in quick, lady on the phone was helpful, the repairman was on time, quick and knowledgeable about what he did. We also were surprised because they seemed very reasonably priced. We will use them again if needed and refer them to friends!
