Heartland Heating & Air were great to work with from estimates of repair all the way to installation. Mark, Josh and Dave are very knowledgeable of their products and services. Josh and Dave did a great job with the installation and kept everything clean and well organized. I highly recommend Heartland Heating & Air's services.

In addition to providing quality service, Heartland Quality Heating and Cooling employs extremely nice and trustworthy technicians to service the equipment. i never have to worry as to who is entering my home...this provides me additional peace of mind. With Heartland you may pay a little more than with cut-rate companies, but it is well worth the added expense. i trust Heartland Quality Heating and Cooling and highly recommend them to take care of all your heating and cooling needs.

They were able to come out earlier than expected and we're very late back and friendly. They explained what was going on and instead of immediately pushing me to buy a new system they added freon and explained that while it may not need replacing now it wouldn't be a bag idea to start putting money aside.
The technician Kalen and the guy that came with him were really professional. Second time using Heartland and we really like them. -
Sent a service tech that had absolutely no training on the product that needed service. The product is a steam humidifier and this is a product that the company is a distributor/installer for and I explained exactly what the problem was when I called. I had more knowledge about the product than the tech. The tech was very professional and it wasn't his fault at all. The company should never had sent him in the first place. It cost me almost $300 for the service call and nothing has been resolved. Spoke to the owner afterwards, also very professional but really never understood why I was upset. The only accountability he offered was that I wasn't charged for the entire time the tech worked on it because of the fact that the tech wasn't knowledgeable about the product. Make sure you ask the right questions before scheduling a service call......

Heartland set us up w a new Rheem furnace and ac. Process was painless and quick, installation was seamless, and there were good options to choose from, including high efficiency. The financing really helped. We've been using Heartland for several years for seasonal inspections and they've always done a good job.

I had to get a new furnace and ac for my home. After several bids, decided to go with Heartland. I dealt with Tom very knowledgeable and gave me a great deal. Installation was quick and professional. Thank you to Jim, Tom, and all the people at Heartland. I could not be more satisfied.

We had a tankless hot water system installed. They were very professional, on time and overall very helpful. Had 6 companies come and give me estimates and ultimately chose heartland. I am glad we went with this company. They even helped me out with getting my spire energy rebate. I Would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Excellent customer service experience from the first call I made to this Company. Technician(Scott) showed up at my house as scheduled and on time. I received a brief introduction bio via email in advance to introduce me to the person who would be working in my house. Also received a heads up text from Scott that he was on the way and would be arriving soon. Polite, professional and went straight to work. After completion he walked me through a brief operation demo on the installed equipment. The cost of the work completed was exactly what had been quoted to me previously. This is a first class Company and I would recommend them for quality mechanical services.

They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I had someone come out to trouble shoot my AC unit. Turns out the compressor went out and the whole unit needs to be replaced. Which is understandable. The problem I ran into with them is that I felt that I was being oversold on a couple things.
The technician informed me that I need to put in a new capacitor for the furnace. I said go ahead because I was trusting his guidance. Well, turns out that since the AC unit went out, it is best to replace not only that, but the cooling coil AND put in an updated furnace to boot. This of course told to me after he put in the capacitor. Which was too late to say no. Heartland charged me $96 for a part if you Google it costs $5 - $6 on average! And literally takes zero effort to connect it. Very frustrating.
Then when I had the sales person come out for the official bid along with the owner, both were very professional and nice guys. However, again... I felt I was getting over sold. One thing that stood out in my mind was when the owner, Jim (I believe is his name) showed me that one of the air ducts was not making a 'hollow tin' sound when your press on it. That it was a sign it was rusted out from the inside and needed to be replaced.
Granted I needed some duct work as some were definitely rusted. However, that particular air duct he was referring to was just insulated on the inside because it takes air away from the furnace. The hollow duct is only for return air ducts. Which makes total since. Thinking about this I feel that for someone that has been in the business for so long should have known that. Maybe not...but I just felt I was getting over sold again to drive the bid up even higher.
As for the bid itself. I will say they were the most expensive by at least 20%.
In short. Nice, friendly people and knowledgeable. However, they are very expensive and gave me the impression that I was being oversold. Starting with that $96 capacitor. Needless to say, I did not go with them. -
We hired them to install a new tankless water heater for our home. They really banged up our walls when bringing in PVC pipe, and then people that I didn't know and that obviously weren't workers (in flip flops) were coming into our home (later learned it was the owner and his daughter). They broke our main line switch during the install and claimed they did not. It worked when they started...it didn't work the very next day. We paid another plumbing company $500 to come out and fix it after they refused to fix it without additional charges. They installed the waterless tank wrong. It was leaking after a day of use and they did come back to properly install the water heater. We had to remind them to putty around the cuts they made to the exterior of our home to vent. Really wouldn't recommend this company.

Heartland Quality Heating and Cooling is a A+ is our book. Tom came out and gave us an estimate. I think I had text him about 20 questions after that and he responded every time, even at 9:45 at night. After getting 2 other quotes we decided to go with Heartland. We just liked them overall. Seemed like good people and a great company with good product.
The install went really good. The two installers were very professional and very friendly and answered all my questions. They came out right on time and even called before they showed up.
Around 11:30 that same night the water line busted where they installed the home humidifier in the furnace room. Water was going everywhere. I shut the water off and texted my salesman Tom and Yep, he replied. One of the Installers came out about 45 min later and fixed the issue. Tom called me the next morning to see how we were doing. Wow. What other company would have done that? This company is the best.
I highly recommend Heartland and they will do my work for my ac issues here on out. Im glad we went with them. -
Heartland came in big for us the day before Christmas Eve. Not only did they call back to try and trouble shoot, when that didn’t work they rearranged their services employees route to come by and fix our furnace. It was an extremely cold day and we are so grateful! Highly recommend. We appreciate their responsiveness and ability to help us in a tough spot !

They were clear, answered my questions and flexible with the HVAC system/configuration I was looking for. The team was very professional and flexible with our time constraints. They did quality work at a reasonable cost. They were also upfront about challenges and promptly strove to resolve issues. I'm very happy with the Heartland Quality team and recommend working with them. Thanks Heartland Quality - I appreciate it!
Update 12/19
We definitely made the right choice selecting Heartland for our new HVAC install. Any time I've called or had an issue they've promptly and professionally resolved it. Thanks Heartland, I appreciate it! -
We called Heartland last minute in the middle of July and everyone from the office to the technicians that came out were wonderful! When we called, they first asked us to check a few things to avoid an unnecessary visit and subsequent bill. We appreciated their integrity in this. It turned out we did need a technician and Corey and Josh were excellent. They were respectful of our home, very kind, explained everything, quick, and friendly. We felt that the pricing was very reasonable.

Great people who do great work! Called and told Tom my air was out and I needed a quote and he showed up within the hour. Scott and Josh were great too! They had the new AC and furnace installed and removed the old ones within a few hours. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who need HVAC work done!

Needed a new water heater - not an emergency replacement. Called Heartland and they were able to get out the next day to replace the failing water heater. Arrived as promised. Josh did an excellent job on the install. Very neat work and very careful around my home.
Made the appointment with Tom. Very helpful in determining what I needed and provided a firm price quote.
Also signed up for the annual HVAC system check.
I called Heartland because my daughter had an excellent experience when Heartland replaced her entire HVAC system. -
Tom & the service team from Heartland were thorough & prompt in communicating with us. They arrived on time and completed the work quickly. When fall rolled around, they came back to ensure that our new heating system was ready to go for the winter. Definitely get a quote from them for your next HVAC job.

Dustin, the technician called saying he was on the way, additionally, I got an email notification Dustin was on the way. When Dustin arrived, he was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
He did not immediately figure out the issue, but continued until he fully understood the problem. He explained this issue, explained our options and we decided on a course of action. He also pointed our several money saving options, which was much appreciated. He didn't try to sell us anything, but simply explained several options that could and did save us money.
This company repaired my furnace, saved me money, allowed me to make the decisions. I am giving them 5 stars, because that is the level of service they and Dustin provided. I highly recommend them. -
My experience with Heartland Quality is based on the bid, buy & install of a AC & furnace about 13 months ago. Throughout the process there was very good communication with and from Heartland Quality. Price very competitive, units installed timely. The company did a followup about 45 days post install. The haul way of old units was complete. Units have operated problem free.

This is my opinion, with some facts thrown in. Dollar amounts and events are factual. Called the office and was disconnected and not called back. I think the owner hung up on me while discussing the following review, but I will field any further questions or concerns from management and update my review accordingly.
Charged $1,263 in labor and $880 in refrigerant for warranty repair of compressor in heat pump I bought from them. Repair took about 2.5 hours. Owner of business told me his tech had to wait at supply house. If he waited for 3 hours at supply house, I paid the company $230 per hour. Or, I paid over $500 per hour for the actual work (plus $880 for 8 lbs of R-410). Other problems with system as well, but eventually repaired as part of service contract.
It is true that the company came back to fix a problem with the way the humidifier that I paid for them to install on new HVAC equipment (also bought from them) would turn on. I bought their service contract and alerted their tech during their visit that I thought something wasn't right. Once I diagnosed myself that the humidifier only activated with the heat pump and not the gas furnace, they were graceful to come back and make it work properly without any additional fee. I am still not satisfied. I realize it is a for-profit business, but warranty repair on equipment specified, installed, and on a maintenance service by a company should not be a substantial source of profit in my opinion. I frankly don't care that the company you represent by installing their equipment is hard to deal with and getting reimbursed is difficult. I did not specify the manufacturer, and you could do what I have done and vote with my feet if your supplier is so terrible. I was aware that labor was not included in warranty, but no matter what I am told by the owner of the business, I don't believe that it cost them anywhere close to $2143 to replace the part under warranty. It is also a little bit dishonest to blame me for poor maintenance in my opinion when I had a service contract with your company. I should be able to change my own filters regularly and let you take care of any other maintenance for $179 per year. -
Very professional and courteous. They contact you a day or two ahead of a scheduled maintenance visit to confirm, and the tech calls you when he’s 15 minutes away to let you know he’s on his way. Very thorough in their checkup. When we have to replace our 20-yr-old furnace next year, we’ll use Heartland. It’s nice to be able to trust your contractor.
