Heartland is great. I had a new high-end Carrier heat pump system (indoor and outdoor) installed. Josh and Bob were the technicians. Very professional, very polite, explained things very well, worked well together, great personalities. Given it’s a union shop, Heartland employees are very well-trained (apprenticeship), which is what I highly value. You get high quality. Marc, the residential manager, is great, too. Knows his stuff. Very personable. I am very, very satisfied with Heartland. As a retired marketing professor, I look at the consumer and the business. Heartland is very well-run (look at their web site) (and, they take credit cards — points!).

Heartland has the best customer service. When are heater was broken last year on the coldest day they came out the same night, after hours, troubleshoot and was there the next day fixing our heating and air conditioner. Prices were good. I liked that they showed us what was wrong, how it was suppose to work and how to keep the new system working properly for years to come. We are the only work with Heartland. They do what they said they would. Excellent customer service.

Purchasing an older home was a bit scary. Especially with an old HVAC unit. With 24 hour emergency service, Heartland always watches out for us. Joining the family plan has been amazing as well. Twice a year maintenance and 15% discount on repairs is so helpful in taking that off my to do list. Harley is patient and hardworking and always doing the best for our family. Thank you Heartland and Harley for superior and professional repairs and maintenance.

They were quick to respond to our need for a heating system repair and they got us up and running in just a few minutes. I learned the value of regular maintenance (other than changing the filter every 60-90 days), so I signed up for the HQ Care Plan. Houston came back out and did a full system check and cleaning. He did a great job for us. I highly recommend them.

Woke up yesterday morning and realized our air conditioner had stopped working. Called Heartland and by 11:00 that morning a technician was at our house. Kyle was great and discovered we needed a new dual capacitor, which he quickly repaired. He checked out system, including freon, and everything else checked out great. Very quick, professional, and honest. He could have told us anything and given us a whole list of things that needed to be fixed. Instead he was professional and repaired our unit quickly and at a fair price. I would highly recommend Heartland. They are a local business (which I always prefer supporting) and are great at what they do.

Our water heater went out the previous afternoon, and Heartland Quality was able to get me on the schedule the next morning. Dustin was our tech, very professional, and did an excellent job of installing the new water heater. He stayed to make sure all systems were running properly and took time to go over the installation process and the water heater. Highly recommend Heartland Quality.

The Heartland team is amazing. We had them replace our furnace and AC units. I am particularly sensitive to mechanical vibrations. They were kind enough to come out several times to mitigate the issue. I really appreciate all the time and effort they put in on my behalf. Reasonably priced and great service. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone I know. Thanks Heartland.

Poor customer service and technician craftsmanship. Put the cover back on but left the screws out of it. Charged me to clean the coils and you could see where he did it with the cover on and all the corners packed with dust and now thick dry mud. Stomped all over the insulation on the pipe leaving big chunks missing. I don’t even think he checked the drain line or added but a pound of Freon and charged me for 3. Used maybe 10 times and it condensated so bad it entered the basement soaking the floors and now it is low on Freon again. This property sits most of the year and gets used very little. Just sad the way businesses are run nowadays and nobody has any pride in their work. Oh ya, they offered to come out today so they must be real busy but wanted 79.99 just to show up and rejoin our mvp program just like I did last time and got some quality work obviously and then followed up with some of the best customer service around!

Very satisfied with the excellent customer service from Heartland Quality! My husband and I needed a new water heater and called to set up to have this done. Everything was handled in a professional and prompt manner. Brett came out and installed it and was very kind, knowledgeable, and efficiently installed the new unit. We are so happy we called them and would HIGHLY recommend them!!

Heartland Quality installed a mini-split heating and cooling system in a patio room for us. Tom did a great job of finding the unit that would fit our needs and available wall space. His communication was timely, helpful and he found us a rebate from Evergy. Dustin and Josh did the install and it looks great on the inside and out. They were friendly and also communicated well. When they went to power up the units, they discovered that our electrician had made a mistake and we did not have enough power. They both remained on the job and waited for our electrician to come out, diagnose, get materials and fix the issue. They were then able to complete the install so that we would have it done same day instead of having to call them back out at a later date. They could have ended their day much sooner than they did. The customer service was truly appreciated!

Had an awesome experience with the installation of a new air conditioner. Got a fair deal and they were able to get me on the schedule fast. On the day of install, Josh and Chase arrived right on time and did great work. They were very helpful, went above and beyond with some things that needed to be taken care of, and cleaned everything up well. They made sure everything was explained thoroughly. Great work.

Brett Kelly was our service technician and I can't say enough about the thoughtful and thorough job he did for us today. Our air conditioner went out in the morning and by 2 pm Heartland already had someone out to our home. Brett analyzed our unit and determined the issue, made the repair and installed a new thermostat all in a very timely manner. I feel that Heartland's prices are very fair considering the last minute need we had. I even signed us up for their yearly maintenance program. That's how confident I am that I will be taken care of by this company.

He was very sincere and honest in his recommendations. We ended up buying a new furnace and ac. Tom came out and showed us the option for our place and was great fun to visit with. Everything went smooth and we had our new units installed in about a week. They even offered portable units to help us out till the install. Met the owner the day of the install. He was working right along side his employees. Great guy! Highly recommended them for your heating and cooling services!

Highly recommend Heartland after working with Tom on our HVAC upgrade. While they may not have been the "cheapest" option out of all my options, I could tell the knowledge and honesty was there. He worked with me multiple times to change the bid and work on getting exactly what worked best for us. Installation with Scott and Josh was super smooth. Overall, great experience with Heartland. Keep up the great customer service.

The company I bought my system from originally stated they were no longer servicing older accounts, just recent ones that had purchased service contracts. So I called Heartland Quality, as I wanted to build a relationship with a local company and spoke with Tom, who had a tech out a few hours later. Tom has great customer service and made this happen. We had 3 companies out to our home to offer us quotes on replacing our entire HVAC system. Tom from Heartland offered us the better equipment at a better price with the best financing options. He was able to get us scheduled within a week & the Heartland team got the installation completed in 1 day! The installers were courteous & professional. I would highly recommend them for anybody that needs work done on their HVAC system. A+++

My experience began with the salesman, Tom Davis. He came out the same day I called which was on a Friday and by Tuesday I had a new heating and cooling system!
The 2 installers were extremely professional. They laid canvas down everywhere they walked and worked all day finishing the installation.
Our home is only 20 years old but the HVAC was without doubt in need of replacement. Today is the first time it is 100 degrees outside and my house is staying at 72 degrees!

Tez was thorough and spent time explaining a system I was not familiar with and how to manage it. Really appreciated his experience and patience.

Lloyd Gould and his assistant did a great job! They were polite, respectful and took the time to explain everything they were doing. It’s too soon to see what savings on utilities we will get but I believe they will be less than before (at least usage will be less but who knows about the cost). We have used Sharp-Long for over 25 years and wouldn’t use anyone else. The company is honest, and we trust what they say. We have recommended them to our friends who are now Sharp-Long happy customers too.

We had our semi-annual service performed by Tavian of First Mate heating & cooling (summer service). His visit for service and follow up visit for some minor repairs were excellent. Although new to the business, his technical training was exceptional and well supported by hone staff. He is intelligent, well spoken, and very respectful. He was very efficient, on time and very thorough in describing the data collected and condition of our equipment. He is a great addition to the First Mate team and welcome to return to do our service visits in the future.
