This team has gone above and beyond a simple house call for an AC repair. I called during their after hours and left a message for someone to call me back when they opened. Within less than an hour of the business opening they returned my call. Their next available wasn’t until the following day and I agreed to the short wait, expecting it to be maybe a few days. I made a side comment of being 9 months pregnant and laughing at my predicament not being ideal and I appreciated their help. They took account my personal situation in this 90 degree weather and worked together as a team to prioritize me, they called me back within 2 hours saying someone could come right then and they reworked their schedule to get me taken care of. The technician they sent was extremely knowledgeable and took extra steps to ensure we are up and running with less likelihood of breaking down again soon. Worked to get us a future quote for unit replacement because we know it’s due any time and their payment system was also extremely convenient because my partner was able to pay over the phone while at work.

100/10 review. Absolute 5 star neighborly services. Cannot thank them enough for their generosity.

I really appreciated their professionalism and expertise. They came out a first time and an issue with my AC unit was not completely resolved, so they actually sent out three technicians to correct the problem and did a great job. I appreciated their willingness to ensure that everything was done right and they saved me money in the process. Will definitely hire them again.

Alex was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He explained all the work to be done. We had good information before, during, and upon completion of the work. We have been customers of this company for several years, including installation of new units at a different house, and we highly recommend them. Their maintenance plan is an excellent way to be sure the heating or cooling is there when needed.

The guys that showed up were very professional and super nice. Both Alex and Ethan did a great job. They took the time to explain things I didn’t understand and made it simple to understand. They were very thorough.

Buyer beware. The work was fine. However, I was charged a labor fee of $442.50 for replacement of a draft motor on my furnace, which took approx. 30 min. to remove, and 30 min. to install. Definitely feeling taken to the cleaners by this company.

They were quick to return my call, and come out on a Saturday morning. Thomas was professional, friendly and very good at explaining what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. I appreciate his help and service very much.

Had a great first service experience with Jon Keilman. Went above and beyond to ensure my system was in top shape. Even gave me a lot of advice and pointers for future maintenance I can watch for.

I had a gas leak before the snow moved in. They understood the emergency and had someone out the same day within a couple of hours. Alex was quick and honest about the leak. Any issues I had were resolved and I had a warm house during the cold weather and snow.

Joseph did an outstanding job on the service of our heating and air-conditioning unit. He was professional, very courteous and thorough in what he did. It was nice to have a person with as much experience and knowledge that he has. Highly recommend him.

Sizing our application and preparing our quotes for our new mini splits and the ductwork repair for our dryer system. We are looking forward to those being installed on our addition.

The units we purchased at a competitive price are very high quality and we are very satisfied. Hudson, Kyle and Jason were very professional and installed all of it in one day. Hudson was very detail orientated and took great care in setting them up right! I appreciate they way he took pride in his work and it shows. Cory took care of the project from start to finish with no worries or problems.

Prompt service, arrived two hours after calling for service. Technician friendly, professional, and knowledgeable…Fixed our furnace issue on site, same day. Office customer service very professional , speedy confirmation of appointment. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

We woke to a furnace that was not functioning this morning—with outside temperatures hovering around -6 with windchill. Not good. We called SS&B around 6:30 am, and at 10:15, our furnace is working, and our house is warming back up. There was a part that needed to be replaced, and Dakota was efficient, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable. We have three small children, so even with our fireplace blazing, this could have been a very difficult day had emergency furnace repair not been an option. We’ll certainly use this company again—hopefully for routine maintenance and not for a cold weather emergency 🙂

Our furnace went out in the winter and we woke up with our home at 50 degrees and declining. We have a child and wanted to get it fixed as fast as possible. SS&B was highly recommended from other families. Within 2 days we had a brand new furnace and were back to having a comfy warm house. We can not thank Thomas, Nathan, Hudson, and Kyle enough for their fast help.

Jon has been over the last couple days to service and see what’s going on with my indoor unit, and after fixing the original issue, he noticed and brought to my attention that my indoor unit was leaking a high amount of carbon monoxide and noticed that my condenser coil is from the 90s and it has never been cleaned and it is about to seize up. Really knowledgeable, respectful guy super professional would highly recommend him for any service needs and would definitely use him again.

Jon, the service tech that came and repaired my heating problem, arrived within the timeframe that was scheduled and found the problem immediately. Repaired, serviced and explained everything that I could understand. Jon was friendly, extremely skilled and knowledgeable of his job. I would and will highly recommend KK&B for all future work! Subject: Concerns Regarding Overpriced Estimate and Unprofessional Service

We contacted SS&B Heating & Cooling on June 6, 2025, for an issue with our air conditioning system. The only reason we chose this company was because they had installed our current AC unit.

The technician evaluated the system and recommended two options to address a lack of power to the compressor: either replace the compressor or replace both the compressor and air handler. The estimates were $1,342 and $3,485, respectively. Additionally, we were charged a $170 service fee, which included checking the first AC unit and simply replacing a thermostat battery on the second unit.

We felt the estimate was extremely high and were skeptical of the technician’s claim that the electrical line was disconnected inside the wall. Moreover, the technician left muddy shoe prints on the garage floor, entryway tile, and carpets. Although he wore shoe covers, he was not careful and left a mess behind.

For a second opinion, we contacted another HVAC company on June 10, 2025. Their technician diagnosed the same issue but resolved it by reconnecting the electrical wiring—for just over $500. The AC has been working perfectly since.

When I called SS&B to report the mess left behind, the receptionist responded by saying the technician was “the most meticulous person in the company.” I found this response dismissive and unhelpful.

As seniors, we feel we were taken advantage of due to our limited knowledge of AC systems. I believe SS&B’s pricing was excessive and their service unprofessional. I strongly recommend that others seek a second opinion before approving any major repairs suggested by this company.

Alex A. was a HUGE help in repairing my furnace!! He went above and beyond to help diagnose what was causing my heat to not come out properly! So glad I finally decided to call and try fixing it myself! Makes sense why my utility bills have been skyrocketed the past 2 years! He was very personable and explained everything very clearly! Absolutely wonderful amazing company. My mom got severely injured and is in the hospital her furnace was not working and I called SS&B and they came out the next morning and had it fixed and the house is now warm for her when she gets to come home. I would recommend them for anything Thank you SS&B you all are the best and Dakota the tech was absolutely amazing.
