I had Burke Plumbing out last week to diagnose a problem with my water heater. I ended up with a cost of $168 and they didnt fix anything. I was told i had a mixing valve not working and needed to replace them. They wanted $325 each to replace them. Not knowing which one it was and said we wld have to do each of the 3 till it fixed the problem i declined to have them do it. Bought the parts and replaced one myself. Still was not getting hot water. Called another company to come look at it. Ended up being the cold water supply valve to water heater was not open all the way. So the system was not getting enough water to to push hot water through. I would have thought a professional would have caught something that simple upfront. So i spent $168 to Burke over $400 in parts and that money didnt even need to be spent.Unimpressed with the service i received feels like i threw away money.

Did not wear a mask in my home (even though I wearing one) & bathroom smelled like cigarette after he left (was only here 15 minutes). Same day service which was helpful, but was charged $199 for 15 minutes of work and a $30 part, plus $68 service fee.

I called Burke Plumbing to come find out why my pipes were making a screeching sound. The plumber told us we needed a new water heater. I told him it was only 6 years old, the plumber said it was bad and we needed a new one. $1600 and a new water heater later and the pipes still made the noise after the plumber left. I took the word and trusted the professional plumber. When we called them back and told them the pipes were still making the noise they sent out a different plumber. This one said it was a pressure valve and most likely was not the water heater. He replaced the pressure valve for no charge, a $500 dollar job. That was a good jester, but had it been done right the first time, I could have saved $1000. The problem did go away. The other problem was the one the first plumber said was bad was a 50 gallon tank and the one he replaced it with was a 40 gallon tank. I did chose the 40 gallon tank because it was going to cost more that $1600 for the 50 gallon one. I trusted the professional and got taken.

Nick did a great job. He made the repair look easy and took him no time....even with a 4 month old kitty "helping" him. He was also very sweet to the cat and kept playing with him. Will definitely hire again.

Dan quickly diagnosed the issue and made repairs. He does a terrific job explaining the issue while commenting on the overall condition of the plumbing system. He is always thorough in this case replacing both the defective cartridge and a questionable seat to ensure the fixture will perform properly. He is professional, considerate, and a pleasure to work with.

Called in at 830pm because of a small leak on my main water shut off the company charged me $180 over the phone because of the after hours but the tech comes and take one look without troubleshooting and said we have to replace the entire valve it will cost another $880 because of the after hours. I turned him away only to investigate and I fixed the leak with a simple quarter turn of a wrench.

I highly recommend this company. My plumber, Dan, was extremely knowledgeable on water heaters...he thoroughly outlined all of the pros and cons for the repair/replace decision I was faced with. He was also very cordial, punctual, and careful to ensure my complete satisfaction. When he finished installing the new part (I chose repair), he showed me what he did and offered maintenance advice for not only the hot water heater, but also for the plumbing components in the entire house. It was clear from his tone and demeanor his intent was to help me, and enhance my overall experience with the company--NOT to show me how smart he was. The new part that I needed was actually pretty expensive--enough to sour anyone's mood. I'm happy to say the exceptional service I received offset the dent my wallet. Dan and Burke Plumbing get 5 stars and an A+ from me.

Precision/Burke Plumbing was great to work with, as they called prior to arrival as they said they would. Daniel B. was very insightful about the different options available for my water heater replacement and about bringing my system up to code. His professionalism during the install and clean up was great. I would recommend Dan and Precision/Burke Plumbing for your repair/replacement needs.

Called this number but it re-routed to Precision Plumbing in O'Fallon? $200 to use my own drywall knife to open the ceiling for a total of $300 to tell me "yep there's a problem" and not do jack to fix it.
